If you're looking for a dental office that actually gets it, Dr. Phan and his ( and his wife's lol) team at Elegant smiles are the real deal. First off, Shawntae is the absolute heart of the front desk. She's handled all my scheduling (even when I've had to reschedule more than once), juggled insurance claims like a pro, and somehow makes the most frustrating parts of dental care feel easy. She's warm, super responsive, and genuinely cares--like, she remembers every vacation I've gone on, follows up to see how they went, and overall actually makes me feel like I'm more than just a name on the calendar. Dr. Phan himself? Calm, gentle, and incredibly skilled. He explains everything clearly without being condescending, and you never feel rushed. I've had cleanings, fillings, a not so fun crown and an emergency visit , and every time I leave feeling taken care of, not just treated. The office has a great vive as well . It's always clean, smells amazing (not like a typical dentist office), and has these awesome little details that make all the difference--like massage chairs in the exam rooms and TVs mounted on the ceiling so you can watch Netflix while getting work done. I'm not saying I look forward to going to the dentist, but it's dangerously close. The whole team is incredibly friendly--everyone greets you, smiles, and genuinely seems happy to be there. Everyone is so nice here and I am well taken care of. Today I came in for my six month cleaning and exam. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Huynh. She cleaned my teeth and I was pleased that she took her time. I know not many people enjoy going to the dentist, but I really do. I did have some traumatic dental experiences when I was a child, so in the past I did have fear. At Elegant Smiles, I am relaxed knowing that I am in great hands with both Dr Phan and Dr Huynh. Even when I had a filling on my last appointment, the numbing and procedure did not hurt at all! The staff wants to make sure my comfort is a top priority. Perhaps it's a good dentist if you can actually get an appointment scheduled but their front office is a hot mess. It's a shame because I thumbed through 80 offices on Yelp, finally landing on this one. I tried to make an appt online but their scheduling app had no appointments available for infinity. So, I contacted them and twice they offered appointments and took them away saying they booked them after offering them to me. They claim its because they have multiple scheduling systems yet the only one I can find is the one on their site and it doesn't work because it says they dont have appointments for months but they were offering week of appts to me when I made contact even though they took them away. So be aware that they have a terrible scheduling system if you attempt to use this office. read more

Ok I confess, before going to Elegant Smiles, I had not been to the dentist in almost 3 years. My last visit before that was a bit traumatic when I had pain for weeks after a deep cleaning. Of course since it had been so long I needed a deep cleaning again. Yep I was scared and like everyone I hate it. But Dr Huynh (pronounced Wynn) was awesome. We scheduled 2 visits and she was precise and gentle. She uses lots of lidocaine to reduce the pain. And those shots hurt, but She mitigates the pain with numbing gel and a little vibrating contraption. The office is beautiful clean and elegant. All the staff is super friendly. And the best part is that the Dentist herself is doing the work not a hygienist. Most of my pain was pretty much gone the next day, other than a little cheek soreness from having my mouth open for so long. We reviewed our long-term plans for care and upkeep and I plan to be a patient of Elegant Smiles from here on out. Her sense of urgency when dealing with the VA exceeds the standards. Dealing with the VA can be a headache, but she reassured me that she would handle everything for me. The turn around for treatment was quicker than the average. Ricky was my dental assistance also exceeding the standards. I do not believe I have ever had someone as thorough as he is. I wish I could give more stars to be honest. I came to Elegant Smiles following a terrible experience at a previous dental office, that left me with an infection, a lot of pain, and needing significant work. Elegant Smiles was recommended by a co-worker who raved about them. I was in quite a bit of pain and the receptionist was kind and worked to get me in immediately. At my first examination Dr. Phan made me feel comfortable and confident in his ability to fix the issue right away. The facility is state of the art. No walking from one x-ray machine and back. You sit in a massage chair and the x-ray machine comes to you. All the work happens, and you don't leave the chair once. Following that exam, I was immediately offered a teeth cleaning. I don't know the Dental Hygienists name, but she was excellent! She utilized a state-of-the-art water powered tool that doesn't hurt and require a lot of the normal tooth scraping with tools. She also made me laugh quite a bit and my teeth felt wonderful when I left. On my recent appointment yesterday the dental assistant Ricky greeted me at my chair warmly and gave me detailed information on all the work being completed that day. I had a large filling and a temp crown placement happening. The numbing was easy, the work was comfortable, and the sanitizing procedures they use in prepping my tooth for the crown made me feel confident. They show you scans of your teeth as they occur, and you never once feel confused as to what is happening in your mouth. My temp fits like a charm and I have no pain or sensitivity at all. Dr. Phan and Ricky worked so well together start to finish. I never thought getting a crown would be so easy. The best decision I made was switching to this office. Let s me just say I absolutely hate going to the dentist.... I fear the sound of the drill and I have trouble opening my mouth for a long time!! However, my experience at Elegant Smile was more than just amazing. Dr. Phan was very comforting. Not only that he made me (a 29 yo wimp when it come to dental office) feel so relax and calm, he also was very attentive to my need. He used a clear isolation device that could help keep my mouth open without much effort and keep the tongue safe underneath. He also offer to let's me watch Netflix when he work on my teeth so I can be distracted from the drilling sound. I sincerely appreciate that. Dr Phi is a good dentist. He's very thorough and patient in my opinion. I now need to find another dentist because they're no longer accepting my dental plan BCBS federal dental and if I want to keep going there, I have to pay out of pocket then get reimbursed later. I don't blame their business decision but they stopped accepting my insurance and didn't tell me before I went back there for a routine cleaning in Dec 2021. I had been going there for past two years. It wasn't until I showed up the day of and then found out I have to pay out of pocket and I wasn't given any other options such as opting to not do the cleaning. That's the reason for my non five star review. So the lesson here is always check a provider's status with your insurance before you go back. Can't say enough about the professionalism and care and skilled craftsmanship I received at Elegant Smiles. Recently moving from California, I was completely lost when the new cap I had put on my implant failed. I'd innocently went to another dentist in the Henderson area who wanted to pull out the entire implant! OMGosh, that would have been a disaster. There was NOTHING WRONG with the implant. Luckily, I got a second opinion and saw Dr. Phan. He is so wise and a true artist. He put a temp cap on the tooth, allowed it to heal, and ordered THE CORRECT cap for the implant from the manufacturer, which was the one that should have been put on it to begin with. I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Phan and Sonia the office manager, and the sweet little assistant, Annie, for their care and compassion and expertise. How lucky I was to find Dr. Phan. I THINK I've found my new dentist! I went there for the first time today. Front office lady-nice. Dental assistant-nice. The gentleman that cleaned my teeth-nice. And to add to him in particular, I previously had Invisalign and had complained to my "usual" dental office that I could still feel the cement on my teeth from the "buttons" that were removed but they were never able to get my teeth to where they felt as they did before I got Invisalign. HE DID!!!!!!!!!! That meant SO much to me especially since I never told him about it-HE DISCOVERED IT DURING THE CLEANING!!!! Hat off to you sir! I'm a very new patient who saw Dr. Hyunh for the first time. To start: I had an amazing experience with Isabelle at the front desk and booking the appointment to begin with (I really hope I have the name correct - if not, I apologize immensely, my hearing is not the best!). I originally booked my appointment before everything shut down for COVID and due to govt restrictions I had to be rescheduled twice. Each time I was given advance notice and an apology (although who needs to apologize for this right now??) Now that everything is open I was able to make another appt. When I came in today and gave her my ID she immediately said "Corinne - we're glad you made it." It was such a nice touch. I won't go into details on my exact appt with Dr. Hyunh but it had been awhile and she and ALL of the techs (Anne/Annie? & Cane? This is now my go-to dentist, I went back in July. The place is really clean and elegant. Dr Huynh is the one that actually called me back. She gave me a tour of the clinic and told me their mission statement since I was a new patient. She's very thorough and is the reason why I actually floss daily now! She was very detailed and even told me she can tailor it since some people would rather it be quiet. Very accommodating! The chairs have a massage feature and they even have a TV that's on the ceiling.
