She said I could also wear it during the day.( not true if you look at how thick it is) so then when I went back I said that the night guard is working OK at night but do they have any suggestions for the daytime. She said that what I should do is get their custom made retainer for the daytime. She said it even feel so comfortable, that a lot of people wear it at night. She said they would quote me for the retainer one this time and it was $400. So I was like wait so I spent $400 on a night guard which I can't wear during the the day, and now I have to spend another $400 for a retainer for the day that a lot of people wear overnight. I just feel like I was sold on spending more than I needed to. Which is disappointing cause I have been going there so long and really love it.

Dr. Mason himself was also very kind and also very informative. He really takes the time to explain and answer any questions you have. I ended up having to have a root canal which he did that day. I now have a dental plan and he is working with me to get my teeth healthy again. They offer different payment plans and a few different options for loans. But now that I experienced the healing process I regret ever going to them and wish I would have spoken up about the care I was receiving. 1 year ago I had the right side done with a different dentist, the pain was minimal and the healing minimal, that dentist used the elevation technique no pliers and was gentle. At pristine dental they used pliers and brutally pulled my teeth out within minutes, my jaw was held in place by the assistant (nearly choking me), the deep clean consisted of aggresively scrapping at my teeth. A couple weeks ago I called and left a voicemail. After a few hours they called back but I missed the call. I called them back 2 minutes later and it went to voicemail again with no call back. A month or two ago I called to schedule an appointment and they had a message on their machine stating the office would be closed for about a week and a half. I called them twice earlier this week and again it goes to voicemail and I get no call back. They are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and seem to be gone for lunch Monday-Thursday for 1.5 hours. It's just extremely inconvenient to be able to schedule anything with them and there always seems to be something going on whether they have to shut down temporarily, they have no receptionist, or something else.
