I had been coming to this nail salon every month under the previous owners and continued to visit even after Elements took over, including during the construction period. Unfortunately, the new management has really changed what was once a great nail salon. Under the previous owners, the salon was consistently busy, and the quality of service was excellent. While Elements provides similar services, they have introduced what I feel are excessive add-on charges. The salon now often appears nearly empty, with many staff members sitting idle, which makes the constant extra fees even more noticeable. For example, if you already have gel polish on your toes, they charge a fee to remove it and then charge another fee to apply new gel polish. If you have a Gel-X set done and return a new set, they charge an additional fee to remove the existing set. I've been getting my nails done for years, and this is the only salon I've encountered that adds so many extra charges for standard services. The quality of the work is acceptable, but the constant add-on fees make the experience feel overpriced and frustrating. I miss the value and customer experience that existed under the previous ownership. read more

Came here quite a few times and unfortunately this will be the last time I come. I came I went for a pedicure. I was sitting in a chair with no hot water. I mentioned it a few times to my nail tech. No fault to her. She was trying to fill it with water. When checking out, I mentioned it to the girl upfront. The girl said oh no you should've told me. I don't know how I could've if I was stuck in a chair and she didn't come around. No remediation for the unpleasant experience. Spent $100 for a pedicure to be cold and uncomfortable for the first half. Poor customer service for the girl up front. read more

They definitely wanted to upsell and that same energy needs to be applied to the overall experience from the greeting to the farewell. WORST SERVICE EVER DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Called ahead, took my appointment over the phone and when i got here (right on time) told me that it would be a wait because of walk ins. Front desk lady didn't apologize or give AF and told me "i can't help when walk ins come in" with major attitude, what was the point to make an appt then?! No one around her seemed to care either, told me it would be a 30 minute wait. I've been here a few times and i will never be back. On top of that the construction does not look safe, within regulation or sanitary. Treating people like humans goes a long way, had the staff been the slightest bit empathetic that would've been appreciative. If you're looking for good service, you won't find it here. read more

Nice place clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly when I came in. The young lady which I was told is the manager at the front asked me what I was looking for I asked for natural nail with gel and a pedicure, the same the manager suggested builder gel which I replied, if it's absolutely necessary, I sat in the chair with MIA as my nail tech I referred to her own nails as which I wanted, my natural nail with gel polish I told her I did not want the builder gel smiled and nodded as though she understood. she began to trim and clean my nails when she gave me back my first hand I noticed she had cut my nails extremely short when she finished the second hand to match the first she then pulled out tips, and I explained again that that is not what I wanted nor was it what I had asked for the other tech sitting next to her explain the confusion and express that I never wanted my natural nail to be cut short, which MIA apologized extremely for I replied that it was fine if we could just paint them with gel paint and the manager found her way back over to us asked about the confusion and then seemed extremely confused herself and was rude in body language, and after explaining that I only wanted gel on my nails on my natural nail with no apology or concern she marked on her tablet and said OK perfect gel nail it is. I then ask the tech to please just finish the manicure with no gel polish. I had my four year-old son with me! I felt extremely uncomfortable and just wanted to leave very unpleasant situation which was understandable for a miscommunication until the manager returned and was extremely rude, I then had to go, and they still proceeded to charge me full price, knowing what had just happened, is fine if that's how they wanna run their business. I still tipped my nail tech because she clearly doesn't understand the language yet. I i'm extremely sad. I lost two months worth of growth. Just gone like I said just very very unpleasant. I've been a customer here for a while, but after my most recent visit I left feeling frustrated and confused. When I checked out, my total seemed much higher than expected, so I asked for an itemized receipt. After reviewing it, I noticed charges for services that I did not receive during this visit. For example, I was charged for nail length even though I did not add any length to my nails this time. What concerns me most is that I was told some services remain attached to your account and are automatically added at checkout unless removed. This makes me wonder how many times I've been charged for things I didn't actually receive. I also don't understand why my total varies so much from visit to visit when I'm consistently getting the same service. I encourage customers to carefully review their receipts before paying. Transparency and accurate billing should be a priority, and unfortunately that was not my experience. read more

First of all for a gel fill manicure it was over $100. my normal gel fill manicure is $50 anywhere else. they charged for gel removal, shaping (which my nails were the same shape when i walked in there) and cutting them down. my nails were chipping that night and a week later nails were falling off of me. a normal gel manicure lasts me a month without nails falling off, but this $100 manicure barely made it a week read more

Since this location became Element Nail Bar, my experience has been awful. I have gone twice since the new ownership and will start my review with my most recent experience. On February 11, 2026 I went in for a pedicure with gel polish and a regular manicure with clear regular polish. The gal at the front desk asked if I wanted my services done at the same time, and I said yes because I was short on time. She then completely ignored my request, despite me telling her no fewer than three times what I wanted. There were many techs sitting around looking at their phones while I got my pedicure who could have easily done my mani at the same time. It was not busy. When I checked out, the gal at the front desk insisted I had a gel manicure and tried to charge me for it ($45 as opposed to the $27 for the regular mani). When I told her I did not get a gel manicure, only gel pedicure, she cried "I can see it on your nails!" which wasn't true. I had to tell her a second time that the service I requested and the service I received was a regular manicure with clear polish. She ultimately fixed my bill, but I did not appreciate the attitude. And, ma'am, I know what I got! My pedicure was unacceptable for many reasons. The tech did not trim my cuticles at all and I left with frayed hangnails around my toes. See photos. The next day, I wore closed-toe shoes to work and when I got home and removed my shoes, the gel polish on my left big toe was completely removed. Weird, right? I've been getting gel pedicures for years because of the benefits of fast drying/curing! So I went back that evening to have it fixed. I was met by the same front desk person who questioned me, but ultimately had another tech fix my toe. I was grateful for that! The fix on my big toe today, a day later, is still bubbly and awful as you can see in the first picture I've posted. My first experience at this re-branded salon was in December 2025 for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. I was generally pleased with the service and the customer service was way better the first time. The problem is that since that pedicure, I have had pain in my right big toe. I didn't think it had anything to do with my pedicure until I went back this week and noticed the tech didn't do any cuticle care on my toes. I think my toe has been in pain because the tech did not remove my cuticle or trim it prior to applying gel polish, resulting in pain when my toe is extended. Today, my right big toe started bleeding around the cuticle. See photo. I will not, under any circumstances, be returning to this nail salon. I am sad that the ownership changed. The previous ownership, when it was Classy Nail Lounge, was lovely, and I had many, many exceptional experiences at the salon. This new place is dangerous and I do not recommend it at all. They charged twice the price for what amounts to a completely irresponsible and unacceptable service. They seem more interested in serving alcohol than in doing nails right. Raised prices by at least ten dollars a service cbd pedicures really, they walk around with a tablet questioning watching everyone put them in ugly uniforms my question is with the increased prices did they give there employees a raise .... you already know.. I have lived downtown 22 years we are not that. July 16, 2026, was the first time I visited. I called ahead and made an appointment for my daughter-in-law and myself. I told the receptionist that we both wanted pedicures and manicures. First of all, the decor design, lighting, furniture, and salon layout, was giving Vegas vibes. Employees all wore the same company logo shirts. All communication of services chosen were entered on hand held kiosk. We were ushered to our pedicure chairs. My tech, Tom, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. My daughter-in-law and I were having a light hearted pleasant conversation with both of our techs, when Ms. Le (owner) came over and sternly reprimanded Tom. At that point, the whole vibe of our experience changed. We all stopped talking. Being a manager in public and private cooperation, i understand employee conduct is critical. However, Ms. Le's tone, in front of customers embarrassed me. When I went to get my nails done, I was having a conversation with tech Lee, and I was interrupted by Ms. Le advising me that Lee did only had 20 minutes left with me before her next appointment. Her tone was VERY unprofessional. After that interaction, I just wanted to leave. Ms. Le needs to work on her public persona, and "micro managing the employees. read more

This review is purely for management. I've been going to Classy Nails (now renamed Element Nail Bar) for the last 2 and a half years. Today I went in for an appointment for a full set (Gel X) with designs on all fingers. My total came out to $165, which is already significantly higher than what I would have paid under previous management. The only reason I've continued coming back is because Mai is an excellent nail artist who consistently delivers exactly what I want without much direction. However, my experience at checkout today was completely unacceptable. After my card was already charged, I was informed that there is a 3% fee for using a card, applied to all card transactions. This was never disclosed beforehand. Businesses are required to clearly communicate any such fees prior to payment. More importantly, passing transaction fees onto customers in this way is not acceptable. These are standard operating costs that businesses choose to incur when they decide to accept card payments. If management does not want to pay processing fees, then they have the option to operate as a cash-only business instead of shifting that burden onto customers, especially customers who are already paying increased prices following the management change. When I questioned this, I was told it was due to their POS system which is hard to believe considering it appears identical to the system previously used when named "Classy Nails", which did NOT charge customers a 3% fee to pay with a card. Between the significant price increase and now undisclosed transaction fees, this change in management has resulted in a noticeably worse customer experience. Management needs to get a new POS system ASAP, or they need to pay this imaginary 3% transaction fee that conveniently only applies at their business and no other business in the Phoenix metropolitan area. I understand that you guys are probably trying to cover costs for all the new remodeling done, but it is poor taste to be overcharging your loyal customers for the services that were significantly less expensive prior to the name change, and then tacking on a random 3% transaction fee. P.S. if there actually was a transaction fee, it would be a flat fee and not a percentage of the costs of your service. Please get rid of this tacky "policy" which appears to be more of a money grab from your customers. read more

I came into town and needed my nails done so I chose this salon due to the photos I saw on yelp. When I came in I was assigned 2 nail techs that are not good at designs/acrylics/ gel x with a $200+ service. Leaving the salon i have had to file my own nails to try to achieve a shape that's pleasant to look at. I have horrible hangnails now which for a $200+ service is shocking. I'd also like to add that if you are getting your nails done as gel x for $82 that doesn't come with a cuticle/nail trim i had to pay an additional $15+ for that. Seems like they have a lot of "add ons" or as i like to call them unnecessary upcharges. I live in los angeles and get full set long acrylics that are AMAZING and INCREDIBLE and pay HALF of what this rip off salon charges. Will not be going back and will not recommend. I will say the pedicure turned out okay but the prices are diabolical. Also, towards the end of my manicure a worker came over and started recording me and my friend, very strange behavior. read more
