Element Air restored my faith in contractors! After a horrible experience with Temp-rite Air Tampa , FL. I went to the better business bureau and found Element Air. I am so grateful! I explained my situation and that the brand new unit just installed was leaking all through my closet. Al was at my house in an hour flat, unclogging the AC drain that Temp Rite left to leak all over my closet. He charged me nothing for that minor solution to that issue. After looking at the entire install, Al expressed that the whole thing would need to be ripped out and done from scratch. He showed me all the work that Temp-rite had failed to do (including not hooking up the heat or UV lights, or the thing meant to clean the air in the home) He showed me the awful workmanship of the platform installed by Temp-rite to hold the inside unit. He took a knife and cut right through it. At first, I was going to pay Temp-rite for the AC unit-I had cancelled their payment when they failed to acknowledge my calls about the leaking and exposed wires they left. Al gave me a fair estimate on what it would take to redo every bit of the install. The following day i decided to sever ties with Temp rite entirely. I asked Al to remove their system and install a different one. Again, he was prompt and gave me very fair pricing. He walked me though everything he and Jose did during the job. He showed me the difference in the products he was using compared to Temp-rite. He was great, kind, and knowledgeable. I hope he uses the pics he took as a cautionary tale to consumers about shady contractors. My one regret is not finding Element air before this awful, ongoing experience! Temp-rite is now threatening to slap a lien on my home for the mess they left! Unreal! Thank you to the Element team for your honesty and integrity! Im not always around so she needs quality service and trustworthy people to help. A/C starts acting up of course during this latest heat wave, company I Wont name comes over and first thing (Salesman) knows she's on SS with limited budget but still "you need a completely new unit" $9500 est. financed 0 interest nearly $600/mo. (Salesman) "let me try to help you out" how about $8000 "lowest we can do" nearly $500/mo still no chance. After an hour suddenly unit can be repaired for $4800 nearly$300/mo. Tech scheduled for tomorrow she is approved and relieved A/C will be fixed soon. I cant sleep over this I research from 2AM-6Am and email 10+ Co's because No Way this can be right, now by 7AM Im calling everyone. This company doesn't do this or that, others can't be here for a couple days, some don't even answer but Every Single company that did agrees NO WAY $4800!! 7:30AM Al (Element Owner) mesgs me, we talk and immediately I'm liking him, straight up without even seeing the unit tells me what problem could be and he's dead on !!! Green Light him and he's here from 5 towns away to the minute he said he'd be. Mom's comfortable, immediately he's working, so I go to an appointment across town. Im back and he's damn near done!! There is nothing worst then wondering why you're sweating if there's a cold front coming through in April. But there you are, hotter than noon on the 4th of July. Then starts the task of calling to see who can come to check your AC the following morning because you have to be at work at 2pm and your roommate sleeps during the day. What a dilemma. So I tried Angie's List, several contacted me back but, Ollie personality stood out That and that he's local. He came over right away, he was very thorough, explained to me the steps that he was going through and what he did to repair the unit. He also made recommendations for future repairs and cleaned the interior of the unit. I highly recommended him. My encounter with him was one that built trust and confidence in his trade and company. I was having issues with my HVAC air handler. I have had several techs in the past couple years that have always seemed to give me a grim outlook. I decided on a recommendation to call this company to take a look at my issue. The technician I spoke to "Ali" was very friendly and said he could be here in an hour. Ali thoroughly inspected my system and tested and told me exactly what the issues were. And he wasn't trying to sell me a new system - he gave me an honest estimate for repair in addition to adding UV lights to both of my systems. I had him do the repair he cleaned both systems added an overflow tray that was missing upstairs and he replaced a bad grill cover that I had. I couldn't be more happy with his attention to detail and his honesty and work ethic. Needless to say he is my new AC guy period no matter what my problem. Saturday was the 2nd time that I used them in the last year. The first time he came out and treated me very fairly and professionally. The second time there was a problem on the outside of the house with the motor fan. There was also something going on on the inside of the house. One of their technicians repaired the problem on the inside of the house and it seemed as though all was fixed. But it showed the 2ND problem after he left. I called them the next day which was Sunday. The owner came out himself the same day and fixed that also. They could have charged me for both things. After talking with Al the owner, they waived the cost of the second repair all together. They just felt that was a fair thing to do. It's hard to find honest people like them! I know Al the owner of Element Solutions for over ten years. He has been servicing my AC System for that long. When I was living in Valrico, I remember calling Al late one night, my heat went out and I had my family from New York. He came right over and take care of my problem. A couple other times my AC was out over the years and he responded immediately. Once he was at my house working before I got home from work. I currently live in Dover and he still service my AC. Today, he purchased a new Heat Pump Pool & Spa Heater for me and did the installation for my Pool. I am very grateful to Al. He is also a funny guy. Elements Solutions air conditioning resolved the problem the same day we called.. We have been w/o a/c since almost 2 weeks and one of our daughters is connected in medical equipment... First we called our home insurance American Home Shield, and they sent us a company name Comfort Pro ( HORRIBLE). Story short they made a mess and didn't fix it right and left and said is going to get cold and we lost all the freon and we were a week more without a/c after we pay for it because insurance doesn't cover that. Al discussed with me over the phone what he thought (condensation pipe backed up). Took me a bit to trace it on my own as I just moved here, but he was correct. And this was in the evening...past 7pm. All he asked for was a good review. I fixed it as best I could, but I will still need his help to permanently/occasionally fix it, and I will send out a recommendation again. Had an AC inspection and tune up done today. I must express the most detail oriented team I have experienced. I'm one of those customers that like to be close by looking and odserving every move. I moved into my house Saturday, and noticed that the AC didn't seem to be working. I had it set on 72° and the thermostat said it was 80°! I got on Angis List and found Element Air. They called me back on a Sunday night to schedule an appointment. The technician was very friendly and helpful. He took time to answer my questions and showed me what was wrong.
