Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee while I waited for my hair stylist to finish up with a client. This shop happened to be right next door to Scissortale Salon, so I popped in to kill time. I was a little disappointed to discover that they didn't have any flavored syrups except for simple syrup. So my hopes of a caramel macchiato or a vanilla latte were quickly thrown out the window. I opted for a simple syrup latte. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of the coffee itself. It was just very different and something I am not used to. I would definitely try this coffee shop again, as I am sure I could find a coffee that worked for me. Also, their bakery items looked pretty tasty and I loved the vibe of the shop. Delicious. We got a flat white 2 shots and 6oz milk and a quartato 2 shots with 4 oz milk. They were both $4 which I feel is a bit high. They were very tasty, a little on the cool side- like kid temp. This is my favorite coffee in okc thus far. Parking lots were packed so we parked along side a building. Go for their coffee, stay for their food. Overall: I'm a fan. That's all there is to it. I love everything about Elemental Coffee. They brew coffee like they mean it and offer breakfast and lunch menu items that will knock your socks off. I had grabbed breakfast on the go from Elemental a while back and remembered the breakfast wrap very fondly. So I hopped on Yelp and discovered they serve lunch, too. I brought it back to the office and was completely blown away. To my delight their lunch items are as flavorful, dynamic, and outstanding as their breakfast options. I had C'EST LA BRIE with grilled ham, melty brie, and fig jam on toasted parmesan Big Sky white and honey bread. I also sampled the COSTANZA which is a turkey pastrami, sauerkraut, gruyer, with stone ground mustard on grilled Big Sky German rye bread. Last but not least, two of us shared the MAD BEETS salad--it was killer. The salad dressing was divine. To honor this awesome place that I frequent from time to time for breakfast and their amazing coffee, my first review of 2019 will be for Elemental Coffee. Elemental gets it right with everything. Their food can be made fresh to order or you can pick them up in the warmer bins near the front counter. The menu shows what the food options are, including pricing. There is something for everyone from pastries and quiches to full blown breakfast tacos, which are my favorites! Their coffee is oh so good. I used to get the iced mocha but have recently changed to iced lattes. They don't have flavors, but you can ask to have sweet agave shots. They don't have straws available because they have lids that you can sip out of, including ones for your iced drinks. Go Elemental for caring about our animal friends who live and breathe in the sea! There is some parking available next to the building, but you can always find street parking as well. The staff is always so friendly and attentive to what you need. There is a lot of space to stretch out and work on your powerpoint. Wifi is strong and consistent. Happy New Year, Elemental! read more

We were visiting OKC for one night and decided to try out elemental for breakfast after seeing the great reviews on yelp and in the travel magazines in the hotel. However, it was a bit of a let down. The atmosphere was very cute, and was probably the highlight of the visit. The service was ok, but the cashier was a bit frustrated with having to deal with newbies and explain everything. The coffee was just alright. I barely remember it because it was so unassuming. The food was also just lackluster. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and my friend orders vegan biscuits and gravy. She was a bit disappointed in the sauce. My sandwich was pretty delish, however the side order of quinoa taboleuh was frankly just gross. I didn't care for it. I'm not sure what other vegan options OKC has to offer as we were here for such a short period of time, so I'm sure this is pretty good for the locals. Elemental has been around for years and years now, but I still feel like people other than Midtowners don't realize just how excellent the food is. There are a wealth of creative vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch, and there are plenty of choices for meat-eaters, too. The prices are all reasonable and you generally get a ton of food. The P.C.P. is seriously, seriously, one of the best dishes in all of OKC. In its original form, the PCP comes with roasted chicken, spinach, peanut cilantro pesto, hot pepper cheddar and jalapeños on a grilled wheat tortilla. To make this baby vegetarian, just sub the chicken for avocado and you're good to go. Now, from the description, you might be expecting a simple twist on an everyday quesadilla--but not so. The hot pepper cheddar is actually added to the outside of the tortilla, which results in a super crispy creation. Plus, it's only $10, really filling and you get a a choice of side, too (I recommend the macaroni salad). The Cheech-a-Rizo brunch tacos are a vegan dream. They're packed with tofu, soyrizo, spinach, jalapeños, vegan mozzarella, vegan chili sour cream and topped with valentina aioli (basically chipotle aioli) and cilantro. The tofu/soyrizo has a nice eggy texture, and the aioli adds a touch of smokey heat. I recommend adding avocado to the tacos for an extra bit of creaminess, too. Served with crispy potatoes for the win! The Sweet Jesus sandwich is aptly named, as it will 100% leave you saying, "Sweet Jesus that was tasty!" I just love all the great flavor combos here -- thyme roasted cauliflower, sweet potato mash, tomato (I leave this off), gruyere and a fried runny egg on rye bread. It's creamy and rich, loaded with herbs and just all around killer. Goes great with their roasted carrots as a side! The Kale Yeah! salad is one of the best vegetarian/vegan Caesar salads I've ever had. The folks at Elemental massage the hell out of the kale so that it's tender and soaks up the cashew Caesar dressing. It's topped with kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and toasted pine nuts and is a steal at $7. They have great grab-and-go sandwiches too, like the Mock Tuna (it's like a chunky hummus). read more

Honestly, I should go again before I post a review but Yelp keeps asking me to do it so here we go! I really like the way it is set up for safely distancing outside but still being in the shade. It doesn't feel awkward or forced, and you can still eavesdrop a little (kidding!) It's convenient. I also like that they have the no straw lids for iced drinks...but they're so weird. Like the hole is in a weird spot. Try it yourself you'll see what I mean! Their stir sticks are wooden spoons which feels wasteful but works well enough! The cold brew was good, but the flavors didn't really mix at all, and the milk separated so I didn't finish it, personal preference I suppose. The water cups are cute. The staff was so nice, especially one guy in a very colorful mask. A lot of the food they brought out smelled good, but as I didn't taste it, I can't really say. My experience was pretty much sitting outside and being served, and it wasn't too bad, but I didn't really feel like coming back either. I guess we'll see! read more

If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, look no further. Elemental is honestly one of the best coffee shops I've been to in the country - I come here every time I'm in town! They roast their own beans and their pourovers are crazy good. The pourovers are always super smooth and full of flavor, and reasonably priced too. Pretty much every thing I've had here is good though - they always have interesting specialty drinks that change often, and I most recently tried the London Fog which was delicious! I love the space, there's tons of natural light and plenty of seating. It's a great space for hanging out and working as it's never very crowded. Has a bit of a hipster vibe but it's not snobby/offputting at all. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good quality coffee! read more

Favorite coffee shop of all time. I moved here from San Francisco and have spent a lot of time in NYC, and I can safely say Elemental is my favorite coffee of anywhere. I'm a coffee snob and the coffee itself is top notch. On top do that, they serve breakfast and brunch and have delicious snacks, local art on the walls, an amazingly friendly and efficient staff, and great decor and vibes. In town from KC. Showed up an hour and a half before posted closing time on a Friday and the door was locked. My daughter and son-in-law went back the next day. My daughter put her initial order in and was met with a cutesy sarcastic response from the barista that they don't do flavors. Both said the coffee they did receive was really good. I get their "purist" coffee philosophy, and agree with it to a point. If you drink good, well made coffee it's not absolutely necessary to adulterate it. But I also feel that a customer who's paying upwards of $5 for a cup of coffee should be able to get it how he/she wants it. Time will tell, but I doubt they make it much longer with their current ideology, especially when coupled with questionable customer service.. read more

Husband and I have been trying all the local coffee shops in the metro area. Unfortunately, this is one we won't return to. I have nothing bad to say about the service. The employee at the counter was nice and we received our coffee and cookie we ordered in a decent amount of time. The atmosphere is nice. The chairs are metal and highly uncomfortable. I don't think I could have stayed there longer than an hour because of them. Husband ordered a latte and I got a mocha. Both were not good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, so you can take my opinion with a grain of salt if you'd like. The mocha and the latte were both bitter and the espresso used gave the latte and mocha a burnt taste. Not something I want in my afternoon coffee or at all, really. Perhaps they both could have done with a little more sweetness to balance the flavors out. Also, this place doesn't really have flavored syrups to add to your lattes like other local places. Neither my husband or I finished our drinks. The cookie I got was a good, though. A bit too cake like but the edges were crisp and the inside was soft. read more

A few friends of mine were in town and wanted some good coffee. We typically drink pour over's or espresso drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable as soon as we entered the front door. The coat rack idea in front is awesome! We quickly ordered our espresso shots - we tried both available roast. The drinks were delivered quickly, professional and properly. With our espresso drinks we had a nice little glass of Topo Chico sparkling water which made tasting the different roast more easily possible. Good times and great people!!! read more

Pretty awesome place, their parking lot is somewhat limiting but there's plenty of street parking. There is some food here but this is based solely on the brewed stout with creamer coffee that they have, wow that was amazing. Definitely coming back for more of that!
