If I could give this company -100 stars I would. I purchased their BlazeX tape lights for a kitchen remodel for a customer. They sent me a driver and dimmer that not only didn't work, but they wouldn't replace it saying my contractor "broke" the dimmer, when in reality the installation guide was wrong. I'd give these people -50 stars if it was possible. Just got off phone with sales manager who is very uncooperative. They sent me the wrong merchandise 3 months ago and can't exchange for correct pieces UNTIL THEY RECEIVE THE FIRST SHIPMENT BACK!! They have had My money for 3 months and can't risk their own for a few weeks?!?!?!? And they do not have the correct pieces in stock even now!! This is a review for their Valent 360 Very High Output light strip. I'd post the review on their web site, but I don't trust their selection of reviews (all positive of course), and I don't want to create an account on their web site just to write a review. I used 100 feet of the Valent 360 in a new construction project. I was naive and bought the product even though it has a CRI of 70, according to the specs on the web site. Compared to LED lights with 90+ CRI, the light from the Valent strip looks very bad. Skin tones look sickly grey-green under this light. I learned the hard way that high CRI is a very important thing to look for when buying LED lights. I can't say much about their customer service, since my contractor dealt with them. One of the transformers had to be exchanged because it hummed badly. At a minimum, stay away from the Valent 360. But I'm not sure I would buy anything from them in the future. read more

Friendly, knowledgable staff. Prices for LED transformers and lights are about 40-50% less expensive than most lighting stores. Quickly solved our problems with wrong lighting ordered through a retail lighting store. Puck light shown in (optional) photo is what we used. For 3.2 watts/light provides good lighting for both above or below cabinet areas. Highly recommend this company which, like HP, started out in a garage! read more

The website was phenomenal for understanding the tech and making a plan for under cabinet lighting, puck lights in cabinets, RGB strip lighting inset into wine racks and can lights throughout the kitchen and great room area. The whole project shines, it's gorgeous and works phenomenally well. A couple of the puck lights did not work well and the guys at Elemental LED immediately sent new ones gratis trusting us to send the others back. Their response time was excellent. They were helpful, talked tech with my husband and had some good sales. I am glad they are 45 minutes away so we could drive up and look at the different tones of white for the strip lighting...this was incredibly nice and made the task much more relaxing. To be honest this was really fun! If it was a little cheaper I'd go 5 stars, but these lights last a good long time. They have sales. And the support was excellent. Our contractor learned to install them right along with my husband and the project, we soldered ours in and used the configurations, shapes and colors that were exactly what we wanted. All talk and promise, no follow through. Maybe because I am a female -I cannot say for sure. Unfortunately I was lied to ignored and told that emails were sent that were not. Communication was shut down for over a week, I called daily for 8 days without a return call. I almost lost my position as creative director relying on Milad Boyab Elementals SOS. I was gracious as some women tend to be but if a man was dealt this same- hand communication would have most definitely sounded much different. I am also not comfortable with the fact that through sheer trust I did not have him/them sign a ND but I do not think it would matter as comments he made specifically eluded to IP as being not a high level on his list of respected subjects. Go fig. Becareful! You're Welcome. I did include for my design quote that I brought in person with description a self addressed envelope with pre paid postage...he told me that would be sent back with sort of a Maybe? comment at the end ..Let's what happens see but follow through and broken promises seem to go hand and hand with this "sales operations" person. read more

Very good experience with Elemental LED and their customer service. While placing my order I inadvertently ordered the wrong part. They immediately sent out a replacement part and paid for my return shipping for the part I needed to send back as well. I did have to wait until they received the part I had ordered incorrectly before they credited my account, but it was done as soon as they received the part, which for me is a normal way to do business. I wouldn't expect to get a refund on anything without first returning the item...just saying. They were professional and helpful. I highly recommend. read more

I had purchased their Ultra Blaze ribbon led for a customer. I had made four connections to the ribbon led for the job. One had failed in less than a year and a half. When I spoke with Diode Led, (Elemental), I was told that they were beyond the warranty in length of time. I went ahead and bought another wire to tape connector on my own. This one failed in less than two months. I thought it was strange that I was told the initial connector was out of warranty, so I called customer service and didn't explain that I had a previous issue, and acted as though I was a potential customer. I asked how long the Ultra Blaze tape LED should last. They had said 30,000 to 50,000 hours. I asked what the warranty was, and I was told 5 years. I asked what the warranty was regarding the associated parts, in particular the ribbon or tape led to wire connector. I was told 5 years. I asked them again, just to be sure, and I was told 5 years. With this information, I started over with the warranty issue on the initial connector purchase. I was then told that it wasn't installed properly and that I should buy their updated newer connector. I explained that I had followed all the directions of the distributor, and had success with three of the four connections. I asked why did I need to buy a newer version connector if the one I had bought was truly good. I asked why I was mislead regarding the length of warranty. They wouldn't give me an answer. I explained to the rep, that if she wasn't going to take care of this issue, I would like the contact information of her boss. I finally got them to warranty their product. It still took another week's worth of emails everyday to finalize the issue. I was told that it would be sent out, I believe within two or three days. It wasn't, of course. It took 15 days to receive it. Overall I spent four months dealing with their terrible service. They advertise that their customer service is great. Nothing could be further from the truth. They seem very dishonest and incompetent. read more
