In the past I was definitely very adamant about getting a massage but I'm soooo glad I started. I was recommended to go here back in December and to specifically go to Frank. I have always had back pains & been very tense in my neck & Frank has done amazing work the couple times I have gone to him now. It is very clean, quiet, and welcoming when you go here. All of the front staff is always super nice & helpful! You can pay individually for each session you go to or pay monthly. I have went with paying monthly & you pay a price cheaper than you would individually. You can also had enhancements to your sessions if you would like. Frank is the best though!! Received inaccurate information about contract terms, charges, and rollover benefits of unused sessions. Directly quoted one charge, then another higher amount charged to credit card. When I complained, they said their terms "recently changed" even though all my contract materials and even the website shows a different amount The massage therapist I saw is amazing. Management is sorely lacking. I am canceling my membership and have three remaining sessions. Booking was smooth for my husband which is awesome b/c he usually has no idea about these kind of things! Jamie was someone who helped him out during this process! I am a very picky person and have had weekly massages for years and THIS IS THE BEST MASSAGE PLACE EVER, in my opinion. Great hours, convenient location, Jaime and the front desk folks make a point of getting to know you, and Doug is a magician. I don't think I ever really had a massage until him. He didn't just warm the muscles, he fixed chronic issues. I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve and prescribed steroids, opoids, muscle relaxers and I went to him and he fixed it in a few minutes. My first visit to Elements in Dublin was great! Tom was very mindful & took the time to figure out what would help me with the pain I was experiencing from a fall. He worked on the problem areas, paid special attention to my pain tolerance level, and gave me suggestions for stretches to do between visits. Therapists are great. I signed up for a membership and canceled it after 6 months. I was still charged for another month 2 weeks after canceling my time wellness membership. Such a scam to hide cancellation in the fine print. Squeezing a last dollar out of people, isn't the way to be a credible business. I was extremely disappointed with this place. I was given a gift card for Christmas and wanting a relaxing experience and got just the opposite. They are so busy, that they are rushing people in and out of there. They put me in the room 5 minutes late and by the time I talked to the therapist and got on the bed we started 10 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early so I could be on my way again. They say you get an hour plus time to get dressed but that's a lie. My 60 minute massage ended up being 45. Then they push you so hard on their packages, which why would I want that when you don't even actually have time for all these hour massages? While the rooms were slightly better than massage envy the actual massage was not. She asked about my pressure and when I requested something different nothing changed. I actually left with a headache. I would certainly not recommend elements. I usually only use these to post good reviews because I feel people don't do enough boasting of the good. However I had to post this because I would hate for people to spend a lot of money on a massage that isn't the experience they were wanting. read more

I have been going to Doug Carr for 90 minute deep tissue massages for the past 12 months, and he has provided the best service I have ever had at any massage studio. He gives deep tissue massage but is very easy to talk to and will cater time your needs with different techniques. I began going with terrible sciatic and hip pain from working out so often, and he completely healed that by going to him every month. He also worked in my shins and feet when I had plantar fasciitis and shin splints which have since been cured. I have only ever had an excellent massage from Doug, and he is a great person too! Highly recommended! I also have had a really great experience working with Jamie at the front desk. She is very pleasant and always helpful. I feel very comfortable with everyone I have interacted with. Rooms and lobby are always clean too. read more

Terrible experience. I called and asked the girl for the soonest available appointment. She told me next day at 11am then it changed to 12 noon. She asked about upgrades. I requested Hot Stones then she called back later and said the massage therapist couldn't do Hot Stones ( no explanation for why), but that she could assign me to a different therapist who could. The catch is id have to wait until 3pm, so I declined and just went with a basic hour massage, then at about 8:50pm I get another call saying the therapist called off and the soonest I can reschedule is Wednesday. This is terrible customer service. Their therapist clearly just didn't want to do his job and since I have no faith that this won't happen again and their CSA didn't even care enough to apologize, I will not book with this location again. read more

Sadly I have to advise everyone to stay away from this Elements. I have been going monthly for 10 months and have had the same massage therapist she was amazing however with her no longer with the company I tried to cancel my appointment. I was told by Alexandria that if I canceled that appointment that I would still be charged my monthly fee. So I can either keep my appointment with someone who doesn't know me or how I like my massages or be out over 70bucks.... she advised that they charge everyone this and they can use or not use the last massage. So I can come get my massage when whom ever they want to put me with or forfeit my money.... so much for "The Elements Way" best massage guarantee all they did was put me out 70 dollars!!!! read more

After a disastrous experience at Massage Envy in Michigan, I decided to try Elements once we relocated to Columbus. I initially was not going to signup for the Wellness Program. Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. Haley provided a wonderful and relaxing massage. She adjusted the pressure to my comfort and provided the right amount of relief. For my second massage, the staff remembered my name and Haley was able to get to my problem areas without problem. There has been no rescheduling of appts or changing of therapists, which has been my experience with other places. Very happy so far! read more

While my massage therapist was such a kind person, there is just very little effort placed on a "spa like" environment. The lotion is cold, and they then use a scratchy rag to wipe off any excess lotion before switching to another area...? I have not experienced this in past massages, and it definitely detracted from my experience. There is a specific ask when you arrive, of filling out paperwork stating the usual, but also it includes areas of your body that you give permission to have massaged. Great idea! However, I marked off my face, as I do mot enjoy this typically. My therapist said "don't worry, you'll like the way I do it" and went for it anyway. Granted, she was right that she is much better at the technique. It just made me uncomfortable that I had specifically asked for this not to be done. On that same paper, I asked for a deep massage, but without working out knots. I was looking for more relaxing feelings. I had to ask twice, but the masseuse did respect my feelings and switched it up. Finally, I arrived early as requested, and was brought back to undress at a few minutes after the hour. My therapist came in about 5 minutes later, and when I got up to get dressed, it was 8 minutes to the top of the next hour. I feel like I received a 45 minute, cold, overpriced massage. She is very rude, has no idea what she is doing, lazy during checkout, and does not belong in such a place! I will not recommend this location unless you don't have to interact with the manager! Disappointing!! It had b en a long time since my last massage so I did a 90 minute. Mediocre at best. Usually scalp and face are last, so that you are already relaxed and it feels amazing. Nope! Did that first and it just feels weird. At the end of the massage, I am told that she felt lots of tension in other areas, but they are not allowed to ask mid-session if you would like those muscles done. The massage therapist is supposed to read your body and massage those areas necessary so that you are able to relax. If I went to the emergency room for a broken leg and they noticed I had a large laceration that required stitches, I think they would mention it. When I checked out the whole scam came full circle. They do a hard sell for auto billing. Your massage therapist recommends that you come back soon. I bet politely said, "maybe next time." Everyone on the planet knows that is a nice way of saying hell no. Then, they tell you that the discounted rate is only after your first visit. Really? Because there are brochures all over the lobby advertising it. So, now, after a 90 minute mediocre massage, I'm definitely NOT relaxed. Do not go here!!!! If you have had a premium massage at a real spa, you will absolutely hate it. read more

Had a massage therapist that said he had been doing this for 20 years and left bruises on me the size of golf balls. It was so uncomfortable the entire time because he stated he doesn't like to be told what to do during a massage when giving one. I will never go back to this massage therapist again and having trouble even returning to elements massage due to the fact I sent an email relating this and they never returned a call or email back to me in apologetic for his behavior or any concerns I may have. read more

Elements Massage has closed their offices due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a member, they took money out of my account for March for a massage which I am now unable to enjoy. I received a call stating that they will continue taking money out of my account each month, for however long they are closed. When I refused, I was told that I would need to suspend my account, and was sent paperwork the same day as I received the call. The paperwork stated that since I was not giving them 30 days' notice, they would still take money out for April. I asked how I can give 30 days' notice when I just was notified that day, but apparently that isn't their problem. I then asked for my account to be closed and to receive a full refund. They have agreed not to take the money out in April but refuse to refund the money for March. This is not a way to run a business or treat your customers. I urge EVERYONE to cancel memberships if you have them and boycot this company until they stop acting as thieves. read more

I went in fully expecting to sign up for the monthly subscription. And everything was going fine at first. I was able to look past the squeaking speakers and the fact it took her 10 minutes to grab me from the waiting room. But as soon as I hit that table things went downhill. She started to oil me down like I was a weekday stripper. You would think she was a pubescent boy with the way she handled that lotion pump. She must have thought I was SpongeBob out of water. After the first 30 minutes I was chafing like sweaty thighs at a theme park. When I flipped over I thought I might slip off the table. But on a positive note they gave out York peppermint Patty's and she didn't talk to me about her life the whole time like the people at massage envy.
