These employees are GREAT. From the time you walk in the door, the folks are all welcoming and relaxing; it's just a great environment. The massage really is the best. I can be tight or tired from the week's tasks, but I leave with a "massage mind" with virtually total body relaxation and a mood that matches. Been coming here for years, and you can't beat the price and overall quality of the massage you can get here. I usually get deep tissue and the massage therapists can usually give me all the pressure I can handle. Massage averages about $2 a minute and these guys are about as affordable as anyone around. It's all about preference and price at this point, so if you're in the area, you've found the right place to go. The management has changed several times, so the instability of that is the only reason I give it 4 stars. read more

This place should get 1 star, but I gave it 2 stars because I found a therapist that can actually work out my knots. However, the rest of the therapists are not capable of actually doing a deep tissue massage. FYI - They will also charge you a fee for a late cancel, even if you made an honest mistake and have been a customer for over 3 years. They also continue to increase prices, which are already too high for the services offered. I will use up my current sessions and find a more reasonable and non-chain/sales pushing massage spot. read more

How is this place still in business? Came here for an hour couple's massage today. We were charged $20 for booking as a couple without ever being told about it when we booked or at the time of the massage. Massage it self was fine but to have to stay 30 minutes after and explain to them why they charged me extra on top of being charged an extra fee already for being pregnant? Then the manager Jessica came on the phone and she was so unnecessarily rude when I was just explaining the charges. I never leave reviews. However, I just had the worst massage I've ever had. Not only did they cut it 8 minutes short, I left in more pain than when I started. Now I'm out 127 dollars and need to book another massage elsewhere. She did not focus on a single area I asked for and her pressure was so minimal that it felt like I was being tickled. OK this is my 2nd time at Elements Massage. The 1st one was at Belt Line & Plano Road, the place is nice, the massage overall was good, but she did not do a "deep" tissue massage, which I specifically requested. She was you really, really light, and even as she touch me, when I left there it felt like I did not have one, which I stated in my review. Shortly there after, they called me to find out if I would interested in another massage to make up for the last one. They scheduled me another "complimentary" massage at a different location. This time I went to Mockingbird & Abrams, now when they/I scheduled this, it was 2 weeks ago today (7/4/20) they called me at 9:30 this morning to tell me that my 2::30 appointment was canceled because the person was not available so they had an 11:00 am available or I would have to reschedule for another date/time altogether, but luckily I said okay I would do the 11:00 am and was placed with Reggie, who was promised to do a "deep tissue" massage. Thank goodness for Reggie, he pull through. Very, very good massage, if you like a hard deep tissue massage this is your guy! I'm a girl but I like a deep massage . I want somebody to put their hands on me & touch me and he did that. He also explained what he was doing to make sure that the pressure wasn't too hard. He also gave me some good advice about how to relax my shoulders a little bit by using hot towels instead of dry heat, etc. Again, Reggie was very good, it was an hour massage. I am going back a week from today Saturday July 4th and I will do a 90 minute massage because he was that good!! Reggie is great! I took upon an adventure to hike Pikes Peak on the Barr Trail- colorado's longest 14er and had a hard time recovering from this hike. My calves were tight, tender to touch and extremely painful. Reggie took his time and used hot towels, hot stones, and adjusted our massage session to help me target my legs. I love that my massage sessions are wonderful and I always leave feeling relaxed and "fixed" up from my injuries/ tensions. Awful. Had a membership there, without notice, they changed their policy after Covid saying credits won't roll over to the next month. Didn't go for about 10 months during Covid, knowing the credits will remain when I return. When I tried to return after pandemic, they couldn't find my record of credits anywhere. Also the first time I had a massage there years ago, they had a young guy named Jaime who exposed my boobs to do a "pec massage" I've never had anyone expose me like that during a pec massage. I felt so very uncomfortable. Manager was no help in resolving the credit issue. Will never ever go there again. read more

I booked an appointment on a whim as I only had two days in town. I desperately needed a massage, but wanted a sports-style session to address specific issues. I did some research and came up with Reggie at this location. Thank goodness, too, because he was awesome. Reggie really had the knowledge to address specifics and in the right way. I was impressed! I left feeling so much better. I wish I could have scheduled another massage. Next time I am in town, this is on my list. My experience overall was great. I've been going to this place for over a year and I'm finally giving up. There are a few good people working there but my schedule is too inconsistent and hectic to be able to follow just one person so I've often had to go to see whoever happens to be on the schedule. Tonight I went and the therapist used his sharp fingernails to scrap the back of my scalp to the point where it is still hurting hours later. I was appalled. This can introduce fungal/bacterial infections and is not at all sanitary. Not to mention, it is a common area where people get psoriasis and scratching with sharp nails can induce a flair up. Then he proceeded to put his fingers inside my ear canals - not on the outside, like inside them. Look dude, I asked for a neck, shoulder and back massage. I did not asked to be scalped and have you jam your fingers in my ear canals. I'm out! ***Editing this review to mention that I spoke to the staff and they will be compensating me with a free massage for the terrible experience. I'm not comfortable going back nor do I have time but they agreed to allow my husband to use it. He will go see one of the two therapist that I know are good, Sidney or Linda. Best massage ever!! I refuse to tell you the name of my massage therapist, because I'm selfish and don't want him to get too busy for me! Just kidding.. his name is Michael and he was incredible. First of all, the location itself is nothing to explain in great detail on this review. Major points were hit: ample parking, friendly staff, clean restroom and nice massage room. This is a chain that I have visited before and suppose the Nashville location set the bar pretty high on this front. However, massages cannot be standardized and when you visit a new massage therapist, it's like a box of chocolates! You NEVER know what you're gonna get. Thankfully, Michael knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He didn't talk unless it was necessary communication to provide cues and ask about comfort level. He asked most of the important questions during the intake process. He was super professional, friendly, and through! He worked muscles I have never had worked before and apparently didn't know I even needed! He did a hybrid massage of deep tissue and sports. Since I exercise often, but sit at a desk for long hours, I truly needed both. I requested he use his discretion and he did not fail to deliver. After the massage I went ahead and scheduled my next one and signed up for the monthly program. Didn't intend to but once informed by staff that the price was increasing on 9/1, it felt like a good decision since I knew I'd need another massage soon with Michael. Words of wisdom to those who want to have a good massage. Communicate! Let the therapist know upfront your preferences and when they need to provide more or less pressure, then let them know in the moment. If they are truly skilled they will be ok adjusting as you go. read more

He used his expertise to work out some big issues I had in my shoulders and lower back. I was amazed by how much he surpassed any masseuse I've encountered in the past. I relocated to Dallas in October 2018 and already was a wellness program member from my previous studio. I visited Elements Lakewood looking for someone with deep pressure who can provide me monthly massages with a sports and trigger points twist because I workout 6-7 times a week. I have worked with Jackie, Joel, Brittani, China and Kenneth and highly recommend them all. The front desk staff's customer service has improved in the last few months. I usually book online and love their points system. I wish someone at this location told me about it sooner - I've lost out on so many points by not being aware sooner. Anyway.. Went for my first massage in a long long time, and since this is a chain, didn't have high hopes. Atmosphere: The reception area is nice and relaxing and my pre-visit phone interactions were pleasant. The room where I had my massage was clean and average - you could control the music volume when you walk in, and the heating pad on the massage table was a nice and much needed touch (you can have it turned off if you don't want it). The sheets on the table smelled clean, but not super soft. The area smelled like... nothing. I guess that's better than a bad smell, but it doesn't do anything for the relaxation experience. They offer aromatherapy, I learned, when my massage was over -- at an additional charge. I'd suggest mentioning that at the beginning of the visit, and rolling it into the massage automatically. How much does it cost for a couple drops of lavender oil, or other relaxing aroma? The massage: The massage therapist was nice and went right to work. Beyond asking about where to focus, she was quiet, which is good (I prefer a quiet massage than one filled with chatting), but a bit more effort to get to know me may have yielded better results (she would have known I carry small children all day, and use and abuse my back, which may have changed her focus?). She was billed as providing a medium to deep tissue massage, but I would say she was able to do a light to medium massage, which left me wanting more. I don't want to be sore post-massage, but I don't think she was able to get even close to deep enough to relieve anything in my neck and upper-middle back areas in the 90 minutes I was there. Checkout: This took awhile. First, the woman checking me out assumed, resignedly, that I had a "grope-on" (Groupon), and seemed to regard me with an, "ugh, another one of those people looking for a deal," attitude. If your company chooses to go on groupon, don't look down at people who purchase the deal. That's your company's fault. I actually had a gift card, not a Groupon. Her attitude seemed to change when I paid with the gift card. She still tried to sell me on their wellness plan, which gets me monthly 60-min massages for $59 (plus an expected 15-20% tip, the envelopes for which are conspicuously placed all over the salon, along with a helpful tip calculator). For what they provide, I would be willing to pay $50 including tip for a 60 min massage, maaaybe. The checkout process took about 15 min, for no apparent reason. This is another example of why chains/corporate owned entities don't work well for a personalized wellness experience. I do not plan to return. read more

Hi Stephen - thank you for you response. I did receive my refund. I tried to use my credits today at the Mansfield location but your staff told them that my credits had expired. When I called for an explanation, the person that I spoke to was rude. She said she could not help me, only a manager could. Given the poor follow up on my refund, I asked when a manager would be in for me to speak to. She would not provide that information or when I would receive a callback. No where on your website does it say credits expire. Since I shouldn't even have this many credits due to your studio continuing to charge me beyond my original cancellation, it's unfortunately more poor service from your location that now affects another location who were incredibly kind in dealing with this situation. read more

The facilities are always clean, the front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the masseuses are great. While all the masseuses are wonderful, I can not recommend Allison enough! She is so friendly and professional, she really listens to what you say and works on what you ask her to! She also always provides just the right amount of pressure.
