While my massage therapist (Justine) was phenomenal, I am unlikely to return to this location. The person behind the desk was incredibly pushy at the end of the massage trying to upsell a membership. I politely declined and accepted a brochure and let her know I'd potentially revisit the idea in the future, but she just kept at it. I completely understand it's a business and that there is money to be made in memberships, but to be very candid, this approach felt wrong. At the end of an excellent massage, you sort of just want to pay/tip and float out to enjoy those feelings of relaxation. Perhaps discussing those items prior to the service would be a better flow? I will say that the heating element was cozy, the face cradle was very comfortable, and the space was clean. I gave this place an honest to goodness try. Massage 1 - While the therapist was a very nice person, the massage was terrible. Their hands had rough/thorny skin (ugh), the massage was clumsy, and...he dripped sweat on me (UGH) and then MASSAGED IN THE SWEAT (LSKKJFSLD:FK). I was horrified but didn't speak up because I didn't want to embarrass him. :( I also kept wondering why the music had clock noises but was too bothered by the weird rough hands and sweat situation to care. I told the receptionist, and they booked me another session with someone else to compensate. Massage 2 - This therapist was pretty good overall, but I realized the speaker system is not working right. So while you get the generic 'pipes with ocean' or 'birds with string instrument' bland music, the speaker system keeps 'clicking' (the 'clock' noises). It distracted me way more than it should have. Today I had a massage with Jason and he gave me one of the best 2 hour massages I have ever had. He asked me what he should focus on and he listened and really focused on what I had requested. This is the Hotel California of Massage Therapy....Like the Eagles anthem, "You can check out any time you like. But you can never leave." I am not going to lie, Malik - who left - and Lorena really helped me a lot get over some of the issues I have been having, but the place was just an absolute mess with people coming and going - the admin/support staff just sucked. And case in point - when I do end my membership some 6-8 months ago...they continued to charge me for four months. Thankfully, they did refund all of the money when this mistake was discovered. And I was told that they would stop the charges...until the next month. Sure enough, another notice that they are trying to charge my credit card. So I call again, and they tell me it is not their issue - the issue with Mind/body, some software they use to make reservations/payment etc....But I am like - dude, my deal was with you - I don't work with Mind/Body. You can call them and sort this out. Not my deal. They say they will get it done. Then I get another notice - that they tried to auto charge my card - yet again. Thankfully, I have blocked this nonsense - but WTF??? Leave me alone. Cancel my membership. We've broken up. Please stop stalking me. My experience as for the massage was amazing as I was in a lot of pain due to long hours standing and walking at work being 30 weeks pregnant. Not quite sure what happened to the service at this place. Use to be great. Front desk are unprofessional. The conversation they were having was inappropriate for a business environment. I could have got past that but the masseuse was even worse. I have pretty sensitive muscles so I don't like very deep massages. I literally had to ask the masseuse to massage harder 4 times. Never had that happen in my history of getting massages. Always have to tell them not to massage as hard. Even after my 4th time requesting her to massage harder, nothing. I finally just gave up and let her do what she wanted. She also kept bumping into items in the room and adjusting the heigh of the table which was distracting. The first massage was booked online with Jose. I get a call stating he was over booked and they had to put me with another therapist which was fine. The therapist was fresh out of school and did not use his time appropriately. So I scheduled with Jose. Jose had nice firm pressure. His heavy Breathing did not help me relax at all. He kept yawning and I felt like he was knocking out at times. I check out and I wanted to purchase a gift card promo to pay for my session the girl did not know how to do it. After messing around with it she said everything was taken care of and charged me. On my way home I get notification of multiple charges. I call back and she tells me that she had to charge me full price as the membership was not active but on my end it was so there was a "system error" . Then she charge me for another charge. So I'm down almost $300 but they told me not to worry as it will refund the other amounts but my money was taken out already so that doesn't do anything for me as refunds takes days to return to my account . Management called I explained how they were allowed to make all these unauthorized charges without my consent if everything was taken care of at the point of transaction. They messed up bad so she apologized and was supposed to follow up but haven't heard from them again! Stay away from this place for fraud and therapist that don't know what they are doing. Worst customer service I have EVER received. Brooke at the front desk is the reason I will never be returning. I've dealt with her the two times I have been here and she is extremely rude and very unprofessional. She talked to her boyfriend on the phone the whole time I was waiting for my massage. When I called to make an appt the receptionist was really nice and able to fit me in for an 8pm massage. First time here they provided me with a $40 off the hour massage. Spoke highly of the staff members and gave me some information about other services and membership offers they have here. After a 10 min wait Desiree was ready for me. I asked for a deep tissue massage, and man did she deliver!! I have chronic back pain and general stiffness from driving alot, working out without stretching, and just overall improper body mechanics. At first she asked some questions to really understand what my needs were. Then she stretched my lower legs (cuz they're really stiff) out then really got into the knots in my back. By all means it wasen't one of those relaxing fluff massages, but more of a sweaty, painful type massage, but one that was needed and truly appreciated to really fix the pains and stiffness I have. During the entire process she was very conversational. Majority of my massages elsewhere they rarely talk, just asking for one word responses. But with Desiree it was different. A lot of education, a lot of explanation as to why that part is hurting or why that joint is popping, and how to fix it. It was very conversational but at the same time informative and interactive which was appreciated. People do say knowledge is power. Definitely got what I came here for. Which wasen't a massage where they lightly worked on my back, and you're so comfortable that you fall asleep. But a deep thorough pounding of my different muscle groups, which can be uncomfortable at times to down right painful, but it was much needed. Wouldn't go as far to say I'm a masochist, but my back felt great afterwards, I was more flexible in the lower extremities, and just in general felt a lot looser in the back. Needless to say I signed up for their monthly membership where I get 1 free hour a month of massages, as well as any additional massages at a discounted rate, for about +$60/month. My back and body felt so good that afterwards I didn't even remember where I parked, I felt that great!!! If your looking for a real massage to work out your kinks and aren't afraid of some pain, or in my case a lot of pain from just sore and tight muscles, and in the process get some education and knowledge about yourself, I would highly recommend Desiree!!! read more

The main reason why I keep coming back is Louis Tapia, his massaging technique is seamless even to the point where it's unnoticeable when he pumps lotion, he always greets with a smile (he definitely gets 5 stars any day of the week). I highly recommend him. Why didn't I give this place a 5 star? Because of the speaker system/ music, you can tell either the music file is old low resolution with timing breaks (it's unnecessary because there is a clock in every room), or/and the speakers are low quality. Please fix that it's harder to fully appreciate the skillful touch of the massaging staff. I've had deep tissue massage, but the massage I got today felt very aggressive. She kept going over bony areas like my pelvis and it was painful. I had to ask her to lessen the pressure but it still was not a pleasant experience. She ended by massaging my face and that too was aggressive. Like I would assume that a therapist would be gentle when working on a client's face, but no she pressed on my forehead like no other. Massage therapist talked entirely too much during my massage and kept bumping into stuff making noise. I wasn't able to fully relax. There really was no rhythm to her massage. She offered me a cold towel to wipe off because she said she borrowed it from someone else, is there not more than one towel?! I could also hear others talking outside the door.
