Elements Of Earth (est 2001) is a large gift shop carrying home decor, spiritual items, medieval swords, armors, superhero artifacts, and other Asian themed items. Basically, this store is your one stop shop for knives, collectibles, Feung Shui products, Bamboo, Bonsai, waterfall fountain, lighting and more! If you're going to visit them be sure you adhere to their "Do Not Touch" strict rule. For the obvious reason. There are two items that I liked the LOTR Anduril sword and Iron Man's Arc Reactor. The store is very organized and spacious. Overall, I had a good experience browsing this store and will definitely come back to buy a souvenir. read more

A middle aged Asian man walked up to my partner and I. Assumed we were married, called my partner a Buddha, rubbed his belly, and mumbled in broken English many things that were not comprehend able. He then pulled out his pocket knife towards us, laughed and made some odd gestures with his hands, said more indistinguishable things and put his knife back. Service is amazing and the place is kept clean and impeccable, the store doesn't allow food and drinks inside. There are even parents that are disrespectful and don't teach their kids manners or respect. The items aren't meant to be touched for a reason. The selection in items is a wide variety and gives you an aspect of old culture. This is by far one of my favorite stores, the owner is kind and friendly even when criticized by Karen's. The sign is big and clear about what's not allowed in the stores, the customer isn't always right, people need to take responsibility instead of being rude because you can't have the decency to teach your kids manners. read more

I grew up in West Covina and lived there till I was 20 so I frequently visited the West Covina Mall my whole life. I recently began coming to Elements of the Earth last year early 2024. This is hands down my favorite store in the whole mall. I been looking for some body oils that help with body aches because I been living with neck pain since I was a kid and this store has the perfect remedies for me . Always enjoy coming here. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Owner of the shop got upset cause we walked in with ice cream bowls. Told my son he dropped a napkin so common courtesy we told our son to pick it up. Then starts telling my son to clean up his mess. My husband steps in and he tells my husband to teach his kids how to eat. We did not even spill anything. He was just nagging. So I left outside with my kids and my husband stayed behind. He was trying to force my husband to clean up the mess and wanted to bring water. What kind of owner makes the customer do that? My husband left and this man literally started to follow us outside the store and scared my kids!!! He is insane, ridiculous and given other reviews a horrible person. read more

Great service and wide selection of items, from swords to old cultural items. This place is great, employees are friendly and patient. There are signs throughout the store and at the entrance on restrictions against food and drinks. Their policy is easy to understand and simple, if you break it you buy it. If parents are taking their kids into the store, it is widely recommended to teach them respect and manners. it's a parents responsibility to teach kids to not touch things or break them, unfortunately many parents don't look at their faulty parenting and blame it on the owner. it doesn't hurt to be a little nice. Also bought a taser here and my girlfriend absolutely loves it and carries it around with her at all times. This store brought me peace of mind that I hope other customers will enjoy. read more

The man follows you around and says no touching to everything, even the cheap crap that DOESN'T SAY do not touch- like the angry bird knock off plush they have. STOP!!! WARNING Do not buy anything here because they do not honor Returns or Exchanges-total sham and are Extremely Rude!!!! I purchased a small water fountain from this sham of a place as a gift for a dear friend for Christmas. To my embarrassment, when my friend put the fountain together we could plainly see it was not functioning correctly, the light bulb would not turn on, it looked like it had been used before because the water tube was full of mold and algae. When I tried returning it or possibly get an exchange for a NEW unit, the employee/owner at the store promptly took me outside to the front of the store where he showed me a sign that stated they did not offer returns or exchanges, even with a receipt. So much for customer service, or the customer is alwYs right!!! RUDE!!! How can you sell a plainly defective product and not allow an exchange or return. read more

This was my 2nd time coming into the store for red string bracelets. I'm assuming the man that helped me today was the owner of the store. I apologize for not getting his name... The red string bracelet represents a multitude of meanings & it means a lot for me to have one on at all times. Headed out to Elements of Earth to find a birthday gift for my teenager. My son asked for a sword for his birthday. Found this store on Yelp and was surprised how large the store is and how many swords and other collectibles they have. My son said, "They aren't going to have the sword I want. " He wanted a specific sword modeled after one in a certain Japanese Anime. Guess what!!?? They had this crazy sword. The price was higher than what was for sale through an online site. I told the owner and he offered us a discount that brought the price down to match the online price. Sold!! Thanks for making our almost hour drive to your store worthwhile.
