Staff are helpful and welcoming and prices are pretty decent for the quality. I came during the holiday season and the vibes were festive and fun! I walked away with some cute and unique vintage Christmas decorations that my cats won't be able to destroy lol - as well as some soup starters that have all been absolutely delicious so far! They've been so good, in fact, that I scoured the web and found the company online so I can order from them again in the future (it's Anderson House Frontier Soups - they use minimal all natural ingredients and have a wide variety of flavors - fantastic soups!). I also snagged a dip mix and they had locally made honeys, jams, candies, and even fresh gourmet coffee beans and an antique grinder. And if you love to decorate with any rooster or chicken themed items, Shabbyology is your jam! If my kitchen wasn't already packed full of rooster-themed decor, I would've walked away with so much more. They also host occasional themed "sip and shop" nights where they offer entertainment and various drinks and nibbles while you browse. They have a digital newsletter to keep you informed of upcoming events and classes so be sure to sign up! Their location is a tad strange for the genre of store - they're found in a large industrial complex and their shop blends in among all the beige, nondescript buildings. The bouquet is nicer, still no dusty miller even though I stressed how important that was to me to the guy from 1800 flowers, I just think they shouldn't take orders if they can't fully deliver on the expectation here. The colors or the carnations are different now too. The bouquet is really well put together and had I not known a difference and received this originally I would've never mentioned a word to anyone. The wrong bouquet was delivered to me, completely wrong address, so there went the surprise. I had to call and double check with my husband that he ordered me flowers and then call the flower shop to ask when my flowers would be delivered. They came later and didn't look like the kind of arrangement my husband normally sends me. I took a picture and sent it to him saying I finally got them and he said "That doesn't look like what I ordered you" and sent me the link to what he ordered. Looks like they replaced the beautiful big purple flowers with a similar but different flower and only put two of them, the colors also being switched out from lavender to purple and white. Absolutely NO dusty miller, which is a staple in arrangements that my husband sends me because it played a HUGE part in our wedding, instead was replaced with lots of little green filler. The lavender flowers have been replaced by little red beads. As for the roses there were only 3, and I can count 5 in the advertised photo. This bouquet is terrible, and has literally been laughed at by 3 of my coworkers who have seen it when I showed them the comparison. I called in to talk to someone but was told that the order was placed through 1800 flowers so I have to go through them. Fair enough, but YOU Conroy's were the one that failed to deliver on expectation, I honestly don't even see that effort was put into this arrangement at all. I have now been on the phone with 1800 flowers for the past 40 minutes trying to resolve this issue and get either a refund or flowers delivered from somewhere other than Conroy's. Sorry for being so upset and a little dramatic, but this was supposed to be a lovely Valentine's day surprise from my husband and you really let us down.
