This is honestly one of the worst experiences I've had in a really long! Monday morning I decided to make an order online so I could surprise my boyfriend at work for his first day of his new promotion. I made the order at 9:18am, got a confirmation email, got another email at 9:20am that the store received my order. I paid extra for the order to be delivered within the hour so he could be surprised early and enjoy the fruit throughout the day. I checked the tracking a few times with no updates. So I decided to call the store at 10:30am for an update. The girl who answered informed me that the produce is in production. I asked what that meant exactly, she said the fruits just got dipped and would be out shortly. Mind you I paid extra for delivery within the hour, I called after the hour mark to see what was going on. Yes it was after the hour mark but I figured it's fine and would just wait for it to get delivered even though I paid for it to be expedited. I went into a meeting and continuously checked the app for update of progress. Still no updates. I finally get out of my meeting at 12pm. Once again I called the store for an update. The girl gets an attitude with me and tells me they get orders all day and just because I placed one doesn't mean it gets addressed right away, unless I paid extra for the expedited delivery. I then inform her I did pay for that option and the delivery was supposed to be done before 10:20am this morning. She then says I don't know what to tell you. I asked to speak to a manager, she then proceeds to tell me that her manager is out for the month and I can email her if I want. Provided me the email. Please tell me what an email is supposed to do when the problem is in the immediate. She then proceeds to tell me that the order is ready and they are waiting for Uber which is 5 mins out. Already frustrated I obliged. 30 more mins go by and still no updates. At this point I call my boyfriend and ruined the surprise and asked him if the arrangement and balloon have shown up yet. He said no and checked with front desk and said nothing has come. Mind you this location is very close to his job so he would have had it already. I waited another 30 mins, it is now 1:00pm and call the store once more. The girl tells me Uber picked it up and she does not know what to tell me. She provided no resolutions, no solutions, no accommodations, absolutely nothing besides her constant words of I don't know what to tell you. I have been dealing with this headache all day for something that should have been easy and done within an hour as that is what I paid for! My boyfriend then asks me to cancel the order as it is now almost 2:00pm and he has still not received anything! I call the store to cancel the order because at this point, who knows if the order was even made let alone sent out. She then tells me there's nothing she can do, the order was sent and I can email her manager if I would like. You mean to tell me I paid over 100 dollars for an arrangement, paid extra for it to be delivered within the hour, and here we are 4 hours after the guarantee delivery and you don't know what to tell me? She wouldn't even give me her managers number. I had to search the internet for corporates number. Once found, I called and they apologized immensely and informed me that is not how this business operates and apologized again. Corporate placed me on hold and contacted the store and informed me that they have escalated it to the manager for immediate response. I then informed her that they informed me that their manager is out for the month. Corporate insisted that they have escalated the matter and requested a refund. They provide me with a case number and informed me once refunded, it would take 7-10 business days to refund my bank account. The surprise was completely ruined!!! They could not get it delivered on the day it was supposed to be delivered. The driver said they tried to deliver but there was no answer at the door. Total lie we have cameras all around the property no one attempted to deliver. I tried calling the store many times to see why it wasn't delivered on time never got a response from the store. I left voicemails and an email. I had to call corporate for this to get resolved. The only thing the store manager was able to offer was a 50% discount on the same order and it would be delivered on the day after it needed to be! This store is trash! I didn't take a picture of the first arrangement which was worse! Strawberries were tiny- very sweaty & ugly. The girl asked if I wanted to redo them which was nice but through off my plans because I had to go back to the store. I had a surprise Bday to get to. When I picked up the second arrangement this is how it looked... nothing as pictured from what I ordered! I don't know how this store is still in business because these arrangements are NOT cheap! The work of this business is very creative and artsy. They take fresh fruit and slice, cut, dip, and arrange them in the cutest designs. This is a healthy alternative to sending flowers or chocolates, nearly every person I know loves fruit. In addition to the fruit are cupcakes, mugs, balloons, and plush animals that can be added to your order. This location is smaller than others I have been to with several bouquets available for purchase. The West Covina store has a small display of items to buy. When I called to see if they had strawberries, she told me everything must be pre-ordered. You cannot walk in and browse to select a product. While it is would be known that it would be 'busy' approaching the Mother's Day event...this store failed to deliver product and failed to re-deliver when notified. I could not reach anyone until Monday afternoon when I was told to 'email the manager' (who was also unavailable to take a call or speak with me directly). Stella (at this Covina location) was not helpful or service oriented at all. And big surprise that I still have NOT heard from the manager, Jilani, yet. Such a disappointment ! You need to DO BETTER and plan around these special occasions and busy events. The arrangement that arrived was small, poorly put together, and honestly embarrassing to give as a gift. This store has changed drastically! Zero customer service! I had a good experience the last time I made an order, but this time was the worst experience ever. I made an online order that stated "one hour delivery" after about 45 mins, I call cause the tracking app didn't move and just showed an order was placed. I talked to a guy that stated the order I made was not an one hour order, instead of him walking me thru the cancellation and reordering to make sure it's on time he insures me he'll have it there in time (3pm) At 1:44 the store called and told me they would have to change the decorations on the order to make it there in time "no more than an hour" is what they said. It's currently 15:50 and I checked the tracker, showed still out for delivery with three stops to go. When I asked about delivery time, the person helping me said they don't start delivering until 12:30 and my order would most likely arrive around 3:30-4:30. The next day at 11:45 I get a call from the delivery driver saying no one is home. I explained what the store saleperson had said about the delivery time and she said her manager gave her her schedule and that was that. So I called the store and spoke to manager Jovanny (not sure of spelling). After I explained what happened he never offered an apology and just kept repeating that that was how the schedule was made that day. I said he or someone could have notified my that the delivery was going to be 4-5 hours early so I could let the recipient know. I also said he and his sales people need to communicate better. As a result the arrangment sat on the front porch for 2 hours and needless to say wasn't "edible" My advice, go anywhere else. read more

Horrible Customer Service. I placed an order at 545 p.m. on a Tuesday. The email with confirmation stated that the order would be delivered the same day. At 554 p.m., I received a call that the delivery would not go out the same day as expected but would be delivered first thing the next day. I called at 9 am (when the store opened), but there was no answer. I called at 2 p.m., but there was no answer. I called back again 3p, finally, manager Jilani answered. He said corporate was not aligned with the information I received in my email confirmation. They are independent, and the information in the email is not accurate. I told him I would prefer to cancel the order since it was almost 24 hours later, and my order was not even en route yet. He said no. He blamed corporate and told me to contact corporate for a refund. I was not happy and demanded that he fix the situation. He finally offered to have the item delivered around the recipient's schedule; I told him I would reach back out with the recipient's schedule. I called back at 3 pm, I was told that Jilani was not in that day. He left no instructions for the staff to take care of the situation. I was told that they would try to reach him. Temperature was 105 Fahrenheit and was wrapped with a plastic, all chocolate was melted We found it after two hours. Everything was melt. I received a delivery on Valentine's Day for a strawberry and pineapple hearts arrangement. The cello wrap was sticky and sweaty as though the arrangement had been left out for hours. Today's weather wasn't hot either the highest temperature today was 64 degrees and mostly cloudy. Upon opening the arrangement the strawberries were overly ripe and the pineapple hearts were bruised. First time for Edible arrangements. The young lady working was friendly and helpful to a point. She stated there was nothing she could do to help me due to getting into trouble by the owner/manager of this location. I was having difficulty with a coupon I received. We were able to work it all out in about an hour's time. (Thats because I ended up calling customer service from the store) I still haven't heard back from customer service, but they did tell her to move forward and honor my coupon. That was way more time than expected but again the young lady working was trying to be helpful and in the end the candy apple I ordered that she made fresh to go was good. This location is super tiny, the store front itself looks a bit dingy and dirty, I hope the back where they prepare their product is cleaner than the store front. I live in Long a beach but placed an online order for a birthday arrangement for my mother She lives in West Covina and this is the store that handled her order. The online ordering system is smooth and easy to place. I got her a very nice rainbow and butterflies bouquet(large) with chocolate covered strawberries and butterfly shaped pineapples, very cute!! Also got her a birthday cheesecake. Everything arrived fresh and in excellent condition. Packaged nice and secure and the delivery driver did an awesome job and she was happy because service was with a smile. It's super bowl Sunday so I know people probably had other plans so being open on a Sunday was a plus. I did read some of the reviews about fruit not being fresh or strawberries not having enough chocolate on them but that was not the case with my mother's bouquet. My mom has been ordering from this location for my birthday for several years and it normally is great. We received the arrangement this year and it wasn't nice upon arrival. Many of the fruits came with some of the rinds still on, but what we mostly noticed was the strawberries looking a bit wilted and the other fruits looked sour. If you're a big fruit person like me - you can tell when it looks sour it almost looks transparent in a way. And guess what - it was. We didn't call over the weekend (it was received on Saturday evening) as we did a day outing on Sunday, so we called the next day. The guy on the phone was rude and it sounded like he was doing chores or something while talking with us. We couldn't really hear him. He told us it needed to be eaten in 1 day. We've never had to eat it in one day - we've been able to eat it over the course of a few days. But you could tell they weren't using the freshest fruits and the cuts were lazy and rushed. I am truly disappointed with the quality of the Edible Arrangement received from the West Covina location. Despite it being Valentine's and probably their busiest day, the expectation is that you receive fresh edible fruit that is arranged, presented, and delivered beautifully. If your business is incapable of fulfilling orders at a high volume or unable to deliver the quality that is expected, you simply should not take the orders. After seeing several 1 star reviews within the past 24 hours, I know I'm not the only dissatisfied customer. My order was delivered at 1:14pm on 2/14. Delivered in a normal non refrigerated vehicle. Fruit juices puddled at the bottom of the cellophane wrap. Condensation on the cellophane touching the chocolate covered strawberries that literally looked like a 5 year old dipped. Several of the non dipped strawberries were on the verge of mush, not to mention several berries that were completely yellow. Wow for a company who is supposed to deliver beautifully dipped large, fresh berries...you guys definitely missed the mark.
