To say this place is amazing is an understatement. Can't thank Michael enough for all his help when purchasing wax sand and wicks. We had no idea how much to buy and not only did he advise us on how to save space within the candles but he gave us all sorts of recommendations on how to add scents, what wick sizes to use, etc. Truly recommend making all your purchases through this company! They made lifelong customers! We purchased 5 boxes (45lbs) each of wax sand. We lit them up for 8 hours and it barely made a dent. Wow!!!!!! The staff is super friendly! I placed an order yesterday for pickup, and thought it said to pick it up today. It actually was saying it would be ready for pickup next week, which I didn't realize until I was already there and had let them know that I was here for my order. It was 100% my mistake, but they were very nice and still got my order for me so I wouldn't have to come back a week later. They also helped me with general questions I had about candle making. I wish I could say good things about these people, but I cant. I tried calling them for 3 hours to a busy signal. Im convinced it was off the hook. No where on their site does it say they are not open to customers due to the pandemic, all it says is curbside pickup is available by appointment. So I drove the 50 minutes each way to go and get some supplies but they wont let you in, or as I said answer the phone. You lost a customer. I appreciate being safe from covid but ANSWER YOUR PHIONE use a recording! POST THE FACT THAT YOU ARE NOT LETTING PEOPLE IN ON YOUR WEBSITE. have some consideration for us as well. read more

I'm sure curbside pickup is great and I probably should have planned a little road trip up to get my items, but I couldn't find the time. I'm pretty frustrated that 9 days later, my order hasn't been fulfilled at all. I get that everything is crazy right now, but I don't like being told that my items will be shipped "by Thursday at the very latest" and here I am, on Thursday after the store has closed, and nothing has progressed. 4 out of 4 orders I have placed from here had issues. I seriously wish I could say nicer things about CCS but I've tried to put good faith in the fact that they may be overwhelmed with COVID and an influx of orders - but my issue is the lack of customer care. They never answer the phone when I've called and they are unresponsive to emails. They've sold me my wax, allowed me to schedule a pickup day and I drove 3 hours (round trip) only to be told when I arrived that they had sold out of my wax...even though the website allowed me to purchase it and schedule my pick up. Another order, my oil was mislabel (not a huge deal), another order took 16 days to ship and the 4th mess up was that I had to wait 30 minutes past my pickup time only for them to finally realize they had put the wrong name on my pickup order and it was outside the entire time. Not a fun experience especially for driving 3 hours round trip to have this kind of service. I was never offered free shipping to compensate for my wax selling out or anything of the sort. I feel like it would have been common sense to offer me my wax, shipped free once it came back into stock to make that situation right. It's such a shame because they carry amazing oils, wicks, jars and wax and they're somewhat local to me and could save me money on shipping from other suppliers, but I just don't know if it's worth it. I guess any order I purchase in the future will have very low expectations. I just wish it were different because I have tried so hard to appreciate this business! read more

I ordered Tart Making Kit and they did not send me a thermometer charging me exactly the same price as with the thermometer. Not fair at all!!! They did not even call or email to tell me about the issue. There was nothing mentioned on the website prior to my purchase that I won't get it. Now, I need to go buy thermometer :( read more
