Got my wedding dress altered here. Price was reasonable. She said the alterations would be one in a week and she would call me. A week passed and I didn't hear from her. I got busy and didn't get to follow up until 2 weeks after dropping it off. When I called to confirm if my dress was done, she seemed confused which was my dress. I have nothing but great amazing things to say!! I went in asking for a VERY last minute alteration that I thought was easy. I needed a female suit jacket taken in a few inches from the sleeves. Elena informed me that because of the style and buttons on the jacket if she were to cut a few inches off the sleeves the buttons would no longer be operable. She instead recommended taking apart the entire jacket and essentially reconstructing it to shorten the sleeves but keep the buttons operable. No tailor in all my years has ever done or even recommended that. Every suit jacket I've ever taken for alterations, tailors just close up the pockets. Not only did she inform me of all of this she did it with 2 days notice. COMPLETELY RECONSTRUCTED MY JACKET. (Of course I offered to pay a rush fee) but it came out PERFECT. She was so polite and professional and did not mind the late notice or reconstructing. I will forever be a customer. read more

I had 2 weeks & 3 days before I flew out to my destination wedding to alter my wedding dress (such short notice, I know). The first thing I did was a yelp search and Elena's shop was first to pop up on the list. I gave her a call explaining nervously my situation and before I could even finish telling her the things I needed altered she said "Don't you worry dear, I will not sleep if it means fixing your wedding dress. Don't worry, I can do it. Can you come in today?" I knew right then and there that I didn't need to call anyone else. She was so so so sweet and put me at ease right away. I went in and it was very efficient, I showed her where the top of the dress cut too much into my armpits, how it needed to be hemmed, and how I would love a bustle & attachable sleeves. She got this done in 5 days!! I didn't think it was possible to get all those things done before my travel date, let alone 5 days! On top of that she is the sweetest lady ever! I was so beyond lucky to find this tailor shop while in a pinch right before my wedding. I had been chatting with a tailor in Brea, but it kept getting rescheduled for different issues. Elena is an amazing tailor, so friendly and she's fast! My situation was that my online bridesmaid dress order didn't follow through, so I had two weeks to buy a dress and get it tailored before leaving the state. I was able to get a dress in Victoria Gardens, but it desperately needed to get tailored to fit me well. Elena's shop was one of the first ones that popped up when I looked up dress tailoring in Rancho that were still open past 4pm. I called her and told her my situation, and she told me to come in that evening if I'm able to (this was Sunday). I came into her shop, and she was so friendly and welcoming. She did my measurements, told me the cost (very affordable) and let me know she can have it ready by Thurs-Fri. Awesome!! That whole appt was super quick, but did NOT feel rushed at all... Actually pretty chill. She finished my dress by Thursday, but we picked it up Friday afternoon (today), and everything was perfect! Elena is AMAZING!!! Almost a month before my wedding, I discovered that my wedding gown zipper needed replacement. Plus, I'd been exercising and losing weight for the wedding, and the dress ended up fitting better on my bodice, but being tighter on my butt. So, I wanted it taken out a bit, to ensure no issues on the big day. I had concerns because my dress is ornate, but by the grace of God, I found the master seamstress Elena on Yelp. I was able to drop my dress off the same day I called, and she had my dress ready within LESS THAN A WEEK! Wish i could give ZERO stars!! This lady was EXTREMELY passive aggressive and rude. took a dress in and got quoted $125 for a few inches of hemming on a dress. When i said that was overpriced and i have paid only $50 at other places she told me I was lying and got very aggressive. She tried aggressively ironing off the markings she did & when she couldn't get them off she charged me $10 to get my dress back!!! (wow!!) Not to mention, she followed me out to my car to try to lower the pricing. She went from $125, to $100, to $80. Definitely do not waste your time here.
