Careless employee and business procedure. I came here for the first on 7/11/2026 Saturday. I checkin my suit to be clean. Employee is like a teen ager and he told me my suit can be pickup on Monday 7/14/2026. I pickup my suit with different hanger and look a wire that is so cheap. I the two employee to look for it. Unfortunate, they couldn't find. I was inform that they don't clean the clothes within their premises. They pick it up and bring it to Orange county or city. They took my hanger and couldn't return it. If they don't keep track the hunger, they should give it back to from the very beginning after I checkin. I'm not going here anymore. I moved to the area 3 years ago and started using Kona cleaners and since I don't like shopping around I used Kona cleaners even though I thought they were expensive. Recently I noticed that I took in 8 pieces and it appeared that they were now charging me almost $9 per shirt my bill was almost $90.At this point I decided to shop around and I was absolutely amazed that within 2 miles of this location I found a cleaners that did the work for half the cost and the quality is virtually the same. My recommendation is please shop around because I just saved about 50% for the same work and all that changed was a 2 minute drive and they also have pick up and delivery service so Kona cleaners does fine work but at 100% more than there competitors so I am no longer a kona cleaners client. I've been going here for a couple of years now, and the quality of my dry cleaning has gone really bad. This is the third time, for me, that they've messed up on my order. Two of my shirts have scuff marks, one of them has stains, and the other one was never pressed just cleaned. Last time they forgot to do an alteration, and the time before that I had a couple of scuff marks that weren't there to begin with. I called ahead to ask how quickly they could do it, and they told me to come in right away. As soon as I arrived, they helped me find the perfect length after I tried them on. I've been a regular customer for years; our entire family has. On 05/27/26 I took my Dodger jersey there for dry cleaning, had a few dirt spots. I was immediately informed that the cost would be $30.00, that was jaw dropping but I allowed the process to move forward. This was the first time that I had a jersey cleaned before and decided to go home and get price quotes, I found two other dry cleaners in the area one would charge $12.95 and the other $7.50. When I picked up my jersey today and paid the price as requested, and the jersey had been cleaned back to new. I informed them that they lost a valued customer due to overpricing, Sad! $30.00 bucks for 1 jersey is a rip-off to me now looking back on this experience. read more

A shame. The store manager who claims her name is Rosa was aggressive and condescending upon arrival. The issue is I was charged for a service I didn't request. Then when I called to let them know, a man rudely responded and tried to argue me down about a service I know I asked for. His anger was unnecessary given that he didn't spend his own money on the wrong service. He then abruptly says "you know what, come in" as if I wasn't going to do that anyway. So I come to the store the next day to drop off the pants again. Immediately met with the abrasive manager. She was short and combative about the matter. I then told her to calm down and she kept saying "it's ok" over and over, but her demeanor showed otherwise. The issue was I went in for a button to be added to my pants, but it was missing. They tried to say I wanted the hem fixed, but that's incorrect. Then she tried to condescend me by explaining what a hem was. She thought she had a gotcha moment, but she was unaware..I told her that proves I didn't ask for the hem to be fixed; if I don't know what it is as she claimed then I wouldn't ask for it to begin with. At that point, my tolerance for her ran out. Let's be serious....who sees a missing button on pants and thinks "oh i KnOw, i'M gOnNa FIx the HEm" Where's the competence? It became clear to me she was trying to avenge the one from the phone call. So everyone lacks emotional intelligence and accountability. That's not shocking. But the audacity to boast about the camera being there as if that proves them right and shows them in a good light. Yes, show upper management how unprofessional and brash you were as soon as I entered Kona. Please prove my point. Anyway, she also went on about trying to force me to watch footage as if it mattered or changed anything. I paid (too much) for a button to be sewn, you supposedly did the hem...I did not ask or pay for that. Especially since "I don't know what a hem is." Then these other people come in just clueless about how she really is. The act she put on when people came in was atrocious. But it was comical to see her pretend. She put on that same performance for me too until I held her to a standard and service I paid for. Anyway. A shame for a manager to act like that while being wrong lol. Be accountable, professional, and stop fighting other people's battles. Especially when that person is wrong. Like I said, have the day you deserve. read more
