I went to Eleni's and was in for a delicious treat. This is a small restaurant mostly for takeout as they only have a few self-service tables. The food though, is delicious! I had the egg lemon soup as I'm an avgolemono fan and this was top notch. The mixed grill included chicken, beef, and lamb. The food might be very good, but they don't seem to care. Moved by the raving reviews, my wife and I headad for a Friday evening supper. Unfortunately, we could not enter the restaurant (really the cafeteria-style eatery) but, being in a wheelchair, I was not able to enter the door step. I can cope with some merchants' disinterest in providing access to handicapped patrons; but the I-don't-give-s/ damn attitude of the young girl behind the grill and the young man looking out the glass window equivalent to "Nice weather", without uttering a word (I guess "sorry" might have been too much of an effort) explains the Greek contribution of to the history of the world. Online ordering process was very easy. The only thing that would've been nice is there's no notification when your food is actually ready. It estimates 40 mins from time of order but it felt like the food had been sitting for a bit when we got there after 40 mins. The food was still delicious though! Really glad to have this new spot near my house as I usually drive to Lexington's Nick's Place for grilled chicken kebab salad and to Roksanna's in Watertown for an excellent lamb kebab. Eleni has a great location and wonderful menu. Yet, I will have to keep driving out of town for my lamb kebab. I went today for the first time and ordered a lamb kebab, plated, w rice, greek salad, dressing and pita. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. The lamb was a little gummy. The rice was kind of plastic prompting my husband to speculate what they could have done to maintain it looking fresh. I did not like the pita bread as it is thick ( I usually drive to Sofia Bakery in Watertown to buy fresh pita bread). I also ordered a tzatsiki. It was really good. The pita bread that came w it was not fresh. Overall, because I rather buy local and do not drive for takeout, I am going to try again. I will be ordering their greek salad w grilled chicken and will keep my fingers crossed hoping for the best. The portions are huge and the prices low. Excellent Greek restaurant in a comfortable, elegant setting. We were fortunate to find this Greek restaurant in Woburn and tried it only a couple of months after it opened. For an initial go, best was a selection of appetizers and a bottle of one of their excellent Greek wines to go with them. Horiatiki was delicious with an original touch: capers to add a sour taste to go with the feta and olive oil; never seen that before but clearly an inspired thought from Eleni's kitchen. Eggplant salad and gigante beans were also excellent. Looking around at other tables, there are many spectacular dishes worth trying at our next visit, especially the Greek meatball appetizer or the lamb shanks. Finished with a double dessert: galaktoboureka and baklava. The galaktoboureka was delightfully light, baklava heavier but not overly sweet and very good. Regrettably, no Greek coffee available (yet?) to go with these two. It's not easy to find a good Greek restaurant and we've often had to go far afield. Eleni's is outstanding, one of the best I've seen and that it can be like that only two months after opening shows how well run it is. Parking may be tight, there are a few spots in the back and there's some parking on the side streets but this place looks like it's going to be very successful and parking will soon become an issue. Well worth coming at an off-hour to get in, more so if they start serving Greek coffee to go with the Greek desserts read more

Finally tried this place a couple weeks ago and have been back 3 time since My favorite so far is the classic pita with chicken. I'm not normally a huge meat eater but was not a huge fan of the falafel. Hummus was also only okay everything else excellent. Chicken and Taziki sauce/Greek dressing have great flavor and the veggies are very fresh, homemade pita is also super yummy. Food tastes a lot like you're eating at someone's house. (In a gold way) My partner says this his new lunch spot because he's so obsessed. He's pretty critical but said their rice is the best and fluffiest he's ever had. He's been trying to recreate it at home ever since but can't get it quite as good they do We also get French fries for my 2 year old and those are really good too. Also best baklava I've ever had!
