This is a great little pizza, sub, and appetizer shop. It's very unassuming on the outside and inside until you look at the menu: The options range from plenty of vegetarian to Mediterranean cuisine. The salads are vibrant, fresh, and plentiful. The pizzas have a nice combination of cheeses and flavor. The steak and cheese sub is a monster, but not a sloppy mess. The ingredients are good quality, though the price is about the same as the greasy bland fare you're expect from most pizza/sub shops. I have ordered from this place twice now- the first time was pretty good- they were pretty fast, and the pizza/wings/carrot cake were delicious. The second time it took longer than estimate, which was fine, but then the cheesecake we ordered arrived with several spots of very clear and fuzzy mold on it. Additionally, the carrot cake was much drier than last time, and tasted somewhat sour- this was especially concerning on the heels of the moldy cheesecake. Wanted to try this spot out. Tried to look for a menu on their website but it wasn't there. Tried to order online but all I got was "this site can't be reached" but the site is back up today. Went there to order. Staff was friendly. Here was the order: Meat lover calzone was alright. I think I am more of a pizza guy so I will come back for the za. The calzone was alright. This was my first time having a calzone. My friends liked it. The dough breading has a good chew. There was a good amount of meats inside. The only complaint from me is the breading does not adhere well with the toppings inside. Toppings kept falling out while I was eating. Maybe more cheese inside would have kept everything together. But again, this was my first calzone and I am just comparing it to pizzas. Fries are good. I like the added coating of crispies on the fries. I used the fries to scoop up the toppings that fell out of the calzone. It's good by itself but in my opinion kind of plain for the modern world. They have cheesy fries with bacon that I would try next time. Onion rings were also nice and has an appropriate crunch. It is not really special though. I was expecting a special house dipping sauce or some sort of toppings on the onion rings. I was looking for something that makes the onion ring unique to this restaurant. But eating it plain was still satisfying. Overall, this was an okay meal. I would come back for pizza and appetizers that makes me feel amore. lol read more

This is our new favorite in Stoneham! Amore is up there with the best pizza in the area, especially if you are looking for a thinner, crispier slice with minimal flop. Seriously, check out the picture below - this is a tidy-looking pie. Apart from the food, the counter service is extremely friendly (the owner is great, as you can see in the other reviews), and online ordering is a breeze. You also cannot beat the Tuesday night special of a large cheese pizza for 6 bucks! We will definitely be regulars at Amore, and you should give it a try, too. read more

It's garlicky, fresh herby goodness), homemade pita (pictured here -- they throw it and cook it in the oven fresh each time), the Greek salad with chicken taouk and house dressing (obviously ;), the sausage/green pepper/red onion pizza. I'll preface this review by saying the food is very good. Mostly everything we've ordered I'd try again. This review is based soley on our last experience. Ordered online with their website. Estimated delivery time was 45 mins(a bit long but sometimes orders back up). A little past an hour of ordering I called and was told it was out for delivery. 2 hours after placing the order, we were told the order was still out for delivery and they were short staffed. Eventually, 2 and a half hours after ordering, we received our cold pizza. Ended up eating reheated pizza hours after ordering..can't wait until I can do that again.
