Admittedly, all I have had here is the fries. Once way back at Iron District, and then again last night. They never disappoint - SO delicious. Probably the best fries I've ever had. Definitely plan on coming back and having a full experience of the food - I know this place has much more to offer, so I can't wait to try :)

Elephant Wings is known for its Tikka Masala Poutine, so I had to come and give it a try, but guys--it's not worth it. You can see the photos. There's hardly any toppings at all on the fries. The meat and paneer pieces are tiny, and the Tikka Masala sauce just isn't flavorful enough. A few bites in and it was just a mountain of slightly soggy, seasoned fries. Hard pass on this one.

The Namaste Shrimp is phenomenal. I ordered it in wrap form.

If there's such a thing as rock-n-roll Indian food, this place comes pretty darn close. Chef Ameet ramps everything up on all his dishes. The spice, the flavor, and the heat makes everything incredibly tasty. If given the opportunity, I could probably sustain life eating only his Namaste Shrimp dish. (Yes, it's that good.) If/When I win the lottery, I'm hiring chef Ameet to be my personal chef. His Indian fusion fare just rocks ... figuratively and literally.

Elephant wings is located inside the parlor in downtown Kansas City. They have an amazing tasting menu of Indian fusion and lots of options of veggies and meats. Some of their menu items you also have the option of getting it as a sandwich, wrap, or over rice. Everything was so flavorful. Highly recommend them.

Enjoyed our tikka masala poutine, and my husband's sandwich (which is not on their website menu, so I'm blanking on what it was). Fun fusion concepts, excited to try more menu items.

This place was a mix for me. It is on the more expensive side for KC but I am used to hefty food hall prices in other cities. We had the poutine and yellow thrasher curry. Both were good but have some serious up charges for protein modifications which aren't stated on the video menu so a bit misleading. Curry wasn't an Indian fusion in my opinion but the poutine was.

So so good

Best chili in Kansas City, MO. If you're looking for some comfort food this is the place.

Tandoori Fries

Elephant Wings is an Indian fusion restaurant located within the Iron District. They offer several unique sandwiches/wraps, poutine, and even iced masala chai. I ordered the Tandoori Fries: French fries seasoned with house spice mix. I opted for the smaller size after inquiring about the difference between the two offerings. The small size fed two of us comfortably. The large world probably feed 3-4 easily. The fries were crispy and the spice mix was an added flavor bonus. But the real star for me was the tikka masala sauce. That was amazing with so much flavor. They should bottle it!

This place is a new addition to the Iron District. Thought we could try this place out for the first time. We had the Bombay Mi and the Tikka Masala Poutine. Honestly the food was not worth the price. Portions was not satisfying, still hungry. Service was decent but awkward too. Easy to order and they do text you when you're food is ready.

At the chance to check out the new elephant wings located inside parlor. Everything was amazing. Each bite was packed with such flavor and juiciness. The fries and wrap were both amazing and I highly recommend this location is in the entry section of parlor parking is available on the street or at parlor.

Visited the Iron District for a normal night out and spotted this newer place. Their menu consists of wraps, fries, tea and other beverages with an Indian fusion. I had the Tikka Masala Poutine. The dish was different but flavorful. The spin on this dish was that it was poutine but the poutine was Tikka Masala which is normally served with rice. Yes, I missed the rice and it could have been more protein as I feel like I got around 2 tablespoons and the sauce is thin and absorbed into the fries leaving a mound of mush. Would I get again? No, not by itself but as a combo for $2 more you could get a wrap and that and a Chai Tea. I was hungry again later as the portions were on the smaller side. Service was great and the food came out fresh and fast.

So sorry it was so good I just went right into it . Omg SO GOOD.TIKKA MASALA POUTINE

Quick and tasty food. The owner Ameet was really welcoming. Great location with other small restaurants that also looked good.

I rolled into KC hungry on a weekday afternoon, and walked just a few blocks through Westport…read morebefore doubling back for this spot. The menu in the window and the happy hour specials advertised outside drew me in! It's a low-key, casual place with counter service for carryout orders, as well as table service. The dining room has a few small tables about six booths and six barstools. One wall is painted a lively orange, and live plants line a ledge along the booths. I approached the counter and was invited to sit anywhere, then was promptly given menus. The menu includes lamb, beef, chicken, and vegetarian options (no pork). There's a nice selection of appetizers, plus burgers, calzones, pizza, gyros, and many Indian dishes including masala, curry, saag, briyani, and naan. I had a happy hour cocktail special and a gyro. The drink was plenty strong and well-balanced. The gyro was very tasty, with thick, moist chunks of meat. Though I would have preferred more lettuce and onions on it, I'm not sure what's proper and traditional, so no complaints! The server was very kind and polite. Atmosphere is not super conducive to lingering--there's loud pop music and bright lights--but it's a great place to pop in and get a good meal!

We were seated quickly, put our orders in and immediately got offered complimentary chai tea. We ordered lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, saag chicken and chicken curry all at mild spice level. All of the orders came with a serving of rice, some type of chutney and some fruit. All entrees were delicious and packed with so much flavor, we especially enjoyed the chicken saag. The saag was creamy and tasted very unique with its coconut flavor and pieces of chicken. We also ordered garlic nan, cheese nan, roti, and mango lassi which paired nicely with our meals. The mango lassi was a bit tangy but was a welcome treat from the flavorful entrees. Throughout our meal we were offered additional rice and left with minimal leftovers because of how good everything was.
