Really happy with our rental. We got a toddler bed, beach toys, wagon, and beach tent. I was able…read moreto rent a few items for my entire trip but also rent other items for just a few specific days. These guys were great communicators whether it be email or text and they were very responsive. Pick up and drop off were very flexible in the time window, which was nice. We used the Kihei locker pick up and drop off, as it was pretty close to our lodging. I will say the toddler bed doesn't look anything like the photos, it's a very solid metal framed bed that I was lucky to have gotten a suv rental and had to put all the seats down as it didn't breakdown at all. Other than that, most of the stuff is fairly used but still in good condition. It's legitimately like if you borrowed some stuff from your friend. You wouldn't get brand new stuff, nor would your buddy clean every nook and cranny of it. All in all, I was really happy with this experience and the price was well worth not having to lug everything over.

I rented the beach wheelchair for my elderly mother, who has two bad knees and finds it difficult…read moreto walk on sand. When I picked up the beach wheelchair, it had not been properly cleaned and prepared for our use. The PVC pipes were full of sand, and the PVC detachable fitted parts were so full of sand/grit that I could barely muscle enough of the joints apart to fit it into the car. I texted the company immediately about the situation and stated that I would have to buy a can of WD-40 to make the chair's detachable joints reasonably useable. The company's representative texted me back 'sorry' and to 'let him know if I had further questions.' When I returned the chair and provided the requested photos of the returned equipment to the company, I made a point of sending a picture of the WD-40 I had bought and used. At no time did the company offer to switch out the chair with one in good maintenance, nor offer AT MINIMUM to reimburse me the cost of the WD-40 I had to buy to make the chair reasonably useable. Frankly, the chair's usefulness was limited. It does not have pivoting tires, so you have to manhandle any turns. My mother used it as a sort of "beach-walker" to walk herself down the sand. However, if I actually had to push her seated in this chair over the sand, this chair would have been a disaster. My mother also said that the chair was not comfortable to sit in at length. So, the usefulness of the equipment (which was overpriced for what it could do and the state of maintenance) was limited.
