To start out with my regrets...My regret is that I only need to see her once a year for a check up! Everything others have said is true - cutting edge equipment, thorough exam and explanations, non-dilation, beautiful spacious office. Efficient, friendly, warm and tuned my contacts with expertise. Not so easy with my astigmatism. I loved Dr. Jebrock whose office she took over. I'm happy to say that she's in the same vein of care in how she examines and looks at eye health plus an upgrade in her methods, techniques and energy. I had hesitated at first to go there - my one other regret - so do make an appointment if you are hesitating! Dr. Chen really helped my husband when he had a serious eye issue that led him to the ER! She went above and beyond and even came in several times over the weekend to help him when he literally could not see out of his eyes due to a membrane forming to protect his eye. Without getting into the gorey details, it was a very scary incident and everything she recommended was spot on and helped in the recovery plus, it gave us the peace of mind that his eye sight would come back! Cutting edge practice that is clean, detail oriented and has a great selection of eyeglasses. Great experience! After having difficulty seeing with my current contact prescription for over a year I took a leap of faith to try Elevate Eye Care. I'm so glad I found Dr. Jasmine Chen as my new optometrist. She is up to date on the latest contact lens technology that helped my terrible dry eyes I've been experiencing lately. Dr. Jasmine Chen's eye exam was top notch. I have complicated prescription and she nailed it with precision. She took the time to answer my many questions and taught me so much about my own eyes. Her practice now has this 3D scan that can tell me in advance if I have any eye disease which is pretty neat. She also recommended some vision therapy exercises that helped my eyes focus better when I'm staring at a computer, which relieved some of the eye strain I was previously having. Dr. Jebrock was the eye doctor I was looking for, for many years. For the longest time, I have been trying out different eye doctors, because I always had trouble during the eye exams. Once I was diagnosed with Keratoconus, I felt it was very important to find an eye doctor who could help me understand my eyes, and how I could support them to heal. It's frustrating knowing that most eye doctors are mainly there to get you in lenses, and then once I was diagnosed with my condition, they were quick to recommend surgery. I researched eye doctors in the Bay Area and found Dr. Jebrock because of his specialization in vision therapy. He was patient with getting me the exact right fitting lenses for my special condition, and answered all my questions. The best part was that I was also given all of these great eye exercises I can do to strengthen my eyes, and prevent myself from ever needing surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Jebrock.
