I have been working with Stephany and the Elevate Fitness team since April 2014. Our company started out doing boot camp twice a week, pre-training us for a company mud run challenge. I love this place! I was very nervous to start personal training after a year of COVID habits but when I met with Stephany she was so knowledgeable, easy to talk to and up front about what I should expect and how my journey might go if I was willing to put in the work. Generally how it works is you book your sessions online every week or two weeks and it's nice because you can do different times and days from week to week to fit your schedule if you need. I started off things slowly but it has been over three months and I have stuck to it and have only taken one week off because I know Stephany, Trystan and the whole team are there supporting me every week and want to see me succeed. I love that it's a small studio space because there's usually only one, two or three other people working out with other trainers at a time. Personally, I found I thrived in that environment because it feels less intimidating than a huge gym with lots of people that may be much more advanced than you. In addition, they consider have a separate but parallel track with individual coaching to focus on nutrition so that it's not only what your body is doing in the gym but what you're putting into your body everyday. Every time I've had questions, Steph has been great about answering or pointing me in the right direction. Finally, while I was able to be in person for three months, I recently moved out of states and was so nervous about backsliding but I was able to keep working out virtually with each trainer at home while I got settled into my new city and I have also enjoyed that very much. Arguably, one of the best things has been that while I feel supported and have made friendships with the trainers, I haven't ever felt pressured to do something I don't want, or doesn't feel right, they always work with my limits and my comfortability. I'll end this by saying that while it may seem costly, I do think it's worth it for everything you get and to achieve your fitness/nutrition goals. Hope this helps! read more

Stephany and her team have definitely kept me moving and active throughout the pandemic with regular virtual workouts and coaching. Not only is she an expert on body mechanics, she is also supremely qualified to coach nutrition, attitude/mental state, and mindset. Frankly, I've always been a hater and avoider of exercising and a 7-decade habit was challenging to break. She helped me break it. Stephany makes the hard work easier by having an infectious laugh and creating a very safe, friendly and nonjudgmental environment. These ladies aren't trainers, they're life changers. If you're like me, I had "tried" everything. If by try, you mean half assing it.. that was me. I was asked by my best friend to be the maid of honor in her wedding coming up in 6 months. The day I went to try on my dress, they measured me at a size 24W. This came as a bit of a shock. have been working out with the ladies at elevate fitness for about five or so weeks. I am 36 years old and had not worked out really at all since I was 16 years old. From the first moment I walked in the door and met with Stephany for my free assessment I felt comfortable and not intimidated like going to one of those big gyms.
