Nice instructor clean place was fun and a good workout

I have been a member of Title boxing for over a year now and I love it here! William, Simon, and all of the employees and trainers are great! It is so obvious that they care about their members and take the time to get to know their members! The workouts are incredible and different from each trainer and they really help you out with technique so that you can improve every time. This is the type of workout where you get out of it what you put into it--some days I come in feeling exhausted already from a long day and try to focus on my form and then some days I come in and focus more on power and strength! If you've never tried boxing, this is definitely the place to start and keep getting an incredible workout! read more

I've been a member here for 8 months and absolutely love this place. Training - The coaches are seriously amazing and they all have their own style. I love that because it keeps it interesting! I'm always learning something new and the encouragement from my coaches keeps me going every time! The classes are intense, upbeat and challenging. I've only done the classes so far, but looking forward to trying one-on-one training soon. Staff - Everyone that works at this location has been awesome! You definitely get that small gym, family feel when you're here and they're happy to see you when you walk in. I've always felt so welcomed by every single person... even in the beginning when I knew absolutely nothing of boxing, I was made to feel like I belonged. I've been to other TITLE locations and, while they're great, they just didn't have the same family/tribe feel that this one does. I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

My first visit to Title Boxing Club was thanks to a Groupon. I had done a little bit of kickboxing at another gym, and was excited to try it again. By far, it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I have been going now for about two months, and I always look forward to every class. The structure of the classes is pretty simple. There are LOTS of bags hung in the workout area, so every person can have a bag to hit. There is no one-on-one sparring here, so no pressure, and less likely that you might get injured. This is a go-at-you-own-pace class, so if you aren't as fast with an exercise as a person next to you, it's no big deal. The most important thing is that you work as hard as YOU can. The trainers are awesome. Each one has a different style, so your workouts are hardly ever the same. What you can expect is to sweat like you never have before, so be smart, and bring bottled water and a towel! I can definitely vouch for the results you get. I look better than I have in years, I have lost two pant sizes and a shirt size, and I feel more confident about myself in general. This place is amazing!! I have been a member here for almost 6 years now and continue to see daily improvements. Before joining TITLE, I had never found a workout I enjoyed and now the gym is my favorite place to be! Went in got a tour and saw that the place was super clean, new equipment and friendly staff. I had to deal with a cranky young lady over the phone but people have bad days so no biggie. The work out was great and accompanied by high intensity music. Can wait to go back. read more

This might be a great place to work out but after several text conversations with Simon, i specifically said that i couldn't "jump" due to a neck injury. He assured me that the boxing class (not kickboxing) would work. He told me the gentleman at the front would be expecting me. When i arrived, nervous to participate, the gentleman at the front had no clue who i was when i mentioned my name. The gentleman at the front told me to tell the trainer that i had neck injuries but he never told me who the trainer was. The class had already started by the time i figures who the trainer was. Ugh. Very uncomfortable. I have never walked out of a class but this was my first time. I would have been willing to do private training to get proper form but the customer service greatly disappointed me. My friend wanted to join me but after i agreed to come to the class (via text with Simon), he never responded to any further texts. After i asked him if my friend could join me in a trial. All in all, this was a terrible experience. I'm sure it's a fine place to work out, but i will not be going back mostly due to the poor customer service. I hate writing bad reviews, but this experience was really a bad deal. I now own a pair of wraps that I'll never use. If you are looking for a boxing gym, i can't vouch for them in terms of the workout, but customer service is so important. Especially when you arrive intimidated by this type of work out. Really left with a bad feeling. I'll find another boxing gym that deserves my business. read more

Their employee that sold me this plan sold me it as a month to month, all access plan. Since I was thinking it was month to month, since I was told that's what I was signing up for and that's why I was paying a premium for the membership. I go to cancel and they tell me I'm in a contract. That's not what I was told when I provided my credit card number. Also, it's not an all access account. When I go to other, closer locations, my membership card doesn't work. Just other lie to dupe me out of my money. Plus this place makes you wear a mask while working out.....so much fun! I'd avoid this place. Title Boxing Club is a good company and I've worked with other locations in the past, but this place gives them a bad name from a business ethics standpoint. read more

I am in love with this club, workouts, and the trainers (Chris and David are my favs). The club and restrooms are always clean, the staff friendly and the workouts intense. My best calorie burning session was 1200 calories and my least was 800. I have a crazy knee and weak lower back and have to modify some of the exercises and all the trainers completely understand this and encourage me (and everyone else) to do their personal best. They do not ridicule or degrade anyone for not being Muhammad Ali or Frank Shamrock. People of all shapes, sizes, coordination and expertise participate in the classes so you will not feel out of place or uncomfortable. Everyone sweats, gets thirsty and leaves the club with a great workout - IT IS AMAZING! I love that the club have promotions and freebies for check-ins, etc. Interaction with members is their strength. Give it a try - the first class is free. Get a great workout and be one step closer to a healthy body. read more

I drive by all the time and wonder about the sign in the window that says "burn up to 1000 calories per work out." Enter Groupon. I bought one and decided to put my curiosity to rest. The intro to boxing class was great. There were three of us in it, and the coach was so nice. He took time to correct everyone's stance and make sure we understood the basics. He invited us all to stay for the actual class that was starting right after our lesson. The class was an hour long and... Ouch. They weren't lying about those calories. The workout is very intense, but they let you go at your own pace. You'll be motivated, but not overly intimidated. Very enjoyable. And you'll be spent when you walk out. Definitely going back. Only negative: the club boxing gloves smell wretched. If you're serious about it, you probably want to invest in your own pair instead of borrowing theirs. read more

Was in town on vacation visiting my sister and she talked me into trying a boxing class. First class free so you can see if you like it. They have a great space with a bunch of hanging bags and a mirrored wall. I was able to borrow some gloves and our instructor, Chris was really great. Title Boxing Club has given me the best fitness club experience I have ever had, and by far the best results. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The trainers are incredible . . They all have their own 'flavor' to their training routine, and they are all fantastic in their own way - George, Chris, Ahmad "The Assassin", Terry, Adrian, and Jacoby (and I even had a class from each of Jackie and Robby, who both did a great job!) - You guys are awesome! I was a little intimidated walking into a 'boxing gym' the first time 6 months ago. I was 3 months from my 50th birthday, at least 40 pounds overweight, and not feeling very studly at all. Jackie and George made me feel comfortable and enthusiastic from the beginning. I shared my goals with them - which was to get into the best shape of my adult life as I approached my 50th birthday. They helped me lay out a plan and a schedule. I became addicted to these workouts almost immediately, and was enjoying great results from the beginning. I am now 6 months into it, I have gone to more than 125 classes, dropped over 50 pounds and now weigh in at under 195 (from a starting weight of 244) for the first time since my teens! Needless to say, I am hooked and Title Boxing Club has me for life! Finally, I have had the pleasure of working out at a couple of other locations and while they are all great places to work out, the Central Forest location has the best 'vibe', the best trainers, and the nicest staff and ownership. Joining Title has been one of my best fitness decisions! Starting from the beginning, they're extremely welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. They give you your first session free, all you have to do is buy wraps which are I think $10 and they lend you gloves. They teach you how to wrap your hands and during the session the trainer walks around and checks up on the newbies to make sure they're doing everything correctly. After your first session they'll ask if you want to sign up, DO IT! I pay about $75 a month for a 12 month contract and they can never change your fee once you sign the contract. After being a member for 5 months, I'm still satisfied with my decision to join Title. My favorite trainers are Ahmad, George and Terry. They do a fantastic job of keeping everyone motivated and making sure everyone knows they're welcome to go at their own pace and take water breaks. They make you feel at home, making the effort to learn each persons name. It's always nice walking into your gym and being greeted by name, and also being motivated by name during class. The owner even remembered that I'm an Aggie and mentioned he's going to get some maroon wraps for me. The class times are convenient but there is also open gym that you're welcome to take advantage of during open hours. If you're worried about having to come late and leave early, it's not a problem at all. A lot of people that go to the 12-1pm class come late and leave early since they come on their lunch break. They also offer personal training with an additional fee of course. I haven't taken them up on PT but it seems worth it! The gym is always clean and so are the bathrooms. They have two single bathrooms and two single showers which makes you feel comfortable when taking advantage of those. The end. JOIN TITLE! read more

I was so sleepy today but I had to do my workout. I knew I would feel bad if I didn't do something- had to go get it. Chasing these 3 pounds I want to lose the week. Ahmad was the kickboxing instructor and he was on his game. His class is "On and Poppin" means--(really good)- you have to try it for yourself. Your first visit is free. Then when you decide to join- just use your eating out money on the gym membership. Learn to breathe- some times it won't hurt in the morning- but if it do- it will be worth it. read more

I was invited to TBC by a colleague who lost over 80 pounds in 9 months from boxing! I took her up on the invite and gave up my fake nails and pedi's along with diet sodas and now even sugar to go boxing! It's the BEST DECISION I've ever made!!! I feel like a million bucks!!! I have more energy, I'm up 10 pounds of muscle and down 20 pounds of fat! I could only handle going 3 times a week the first two months and now I'm up to 5 days, sometimes twice in one day!!! I'm hooked. The owner was very welcoming. The instructors are very friendly and the work out has been worth the membership price. I've attended George, Adrian, and Jacolby classes, and each have been fun and different. I go 4-5x a week since I've joined, and that's coming from someone that use to work out 1x/week. I'm a beginner and each instructor has been patient. They are very motivating and they'll show you how to improve your form and make sure you're getting the best workout. read more

I'm obsessed with Title. I've been going for 5 weeks now and have seen such a dramatic change in my body. The workouts are intense. The trainers will treat you like athletes. They have high expectations but will not make you feel uncomfortable. The thing I like most is that the people who go are so different. There are people of all ages and fitness levels and they will all be drenched in sweat when they leave. I've never done a workout this hard before and I am loving it. I'm an ADD cardio person. I can't be on a treadmill or elliptical machine for more than 20 minutes without getting bored. The way the class breaks down (15 min warm up, 30 min boxing and 15 min abs) is perfect for me. I go 3-4 times a week and love Ahmad and Jessica's classes the best! Your first visit is free, check them out! I just joined this place last week and I am very pleased. I hate the thought of working out but haven't missed a day since I joined this club, the classes are challenging and very dynamic and in the process I learn to throw a few good punches and kicks. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Normally, I am not the type to go out of my way to write a review about any sort of business... but this certain location/situation was truly awful. Although I will say the trainers are very very kind & talented, but the staff is truly bottom of the barrel. I had been paying for credits to this class for about 5 months through ClassPass. When my credits ran out, I was talking to a co-worker at work that was attending the location in downtown Dallas. She has a membership card that allows you to go however many times during that month as you'd like. Which this co-worker was going out of town for work to visit a client, and she gladly lent me the membership card insisting to return it back to her once she returned back to work in Dallas. In addition, two other girl co-workers wanted to try out the boxing class as well. They joined me after work to go box. Us three arrive to this "TITLE Boxing Club" location off Highway 75 & Forest Ln. With the membership card in my hand, the two girls go in front of me to check-in and the incredibly rude, angry employee at the front desk asked the girls what their names were to check them in. They had told him that they had not signed up, but proceed to tell them their names. The employee then develops an attitude with the girls saying they can't do this and that they HAVE to sign up. Me behind them, the employee asks, "Are they with you", which in turn I tell him "Yes". He says "Alright, I can get you guys handled then since you are with him". The employee never asked for my name or membership card that I was lent. So I go to the bathroom to change clothes and come back to check on the girls at the front desk since the employee was getting them gloves and wraps. This man is aggressively throwing the wrap around their hands, and clapping their hands together once finished. Once of girls turns around and gave me the big eyes... It was rather uncomfortable seeing this random dude be physical with these two female co-workers I brought. We have a great workout for the next hour, with the amazing trainers. With 5 minutes of the workout left, the same employee member comes up to me and says, "Badge-in when you are leaving". I told him "Okay". After the girls and I change clothes, and are about to head out, I scan the membership card on the scanner at the front desk. The other co-worker sitting behind the desk, goes "Show me your license". Very puzzled, I dig in my bag to find my license to show him my ID. I then tell him that I was using my co-workers membership card for the day, so that the name will be different when scanning the membership card. "I am using my co-workers membership card today since she is out of town, and she lent it to me. Her name is ... ". The employee behind the desk, and the other angry co-worker both start YELLING at me, "You are a theif!!! Do you know what you are doing?!? You are a liar! I can not believe you would do this! This is a small, family owned company and you are stealing from us!". Absolutely SO confused, looking around at all the people from the class that are walking out and my two girl co-workers I brought are awkwardly standing by the door, with the most scared face I have ever seen. I then tell the two employees there, "There must be a misunderstanding, I am using my co-workers membership card today which should not matter if it is me or her using it. I am not stealing from anyone?". The man behind the desk goes, "I am not going to give you a lecture about life, but you will not even owe up to what you did? Leave." So embarrassed, with no reasoning why they just kicked me out, I walked the girls out to their cars to tell them bye. I then go back inside to neutralize the situation that was handled so unprofessionally. I walk up to the front desk to say, "I truthfully not too sure what I going on here, or what I did wrong. But I want to apologize for whatever you thought happened. That man (I point to the angry co-worker that has been overly aggressive the whole day, on the other side of the gym) did not scan me in at the beginning of the class. Which is not my fault, and I did not steal from anyone.". The angry employee charges me, flexing his arms like he is about to fight me and says, "I can't believe you would do this". The co-worker I was talking to behind the desk yells to the angry co-worker to back off & calm down. The man walks off. The man behind the desk tells me "I accept you apology for all you have done. Good luck in life, and farewell to you". Walking out of that place I was completely dumbfounded by what just happened. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to... I am truly at a loss for words about this place. Screaming at a customer that they are a thief, liar, and stealer and not supplying a reason for it if insane, nonetheless no man should EVER be aggressive to any girl... I am never going back to that place, and neither should you. read more

I love working out at Title. The workouts are challenging but also fun! Each instructor has a slightly different style but all of the power hour workouts follow a basic form. Don't be intimidated by the intensity, you can go at your own pace. With persistence you will notice you're getting stronger, building insurance, and slimming down. read more

I am loving my new routine with Title boxing. Ever since the day I signed up a few weeks ago I have gone everyday since. The class schedules are convenient and the classes are fun, comfortable, and easy to catch on. I love my new energy and my clothes are getting bigger and bigger. The classes are hard and I can adjust my intensity depending on how I feel that day. I never regret a workout here. Amazing workouts here. The instructors here are patient and very knowledgeable. (They have actual UFC fighters & Boxers teaching the classes). I've seen one of them hit a heavy bag so hard that the chain breaks and the bag hits the floor. read more

Fantastic workout! I'll be back!!! I'd never done anything close to boxing before, so I was obviously a little nervous as I headed in for my first class last night. I brought in a coupon I found on their website so this class was FREE. There was a good mixture of beginners / intermediate / advanced people in the class (they just ran a Groupon too, so I think the beginners might be more than normal.. who knows) I felt comfortable knowing I could go at my own pace and there's a water fountain available to get quick sips of water when you need them (lucky for me since I left my water bottle in the car) They played up beat music and the class consisted of a warm up, boxing circuit, ab workout, and cool down. The boxing circuit was nice because the trainer would teach you different combinations of punches and even mix in other moves like planks, squats, dips, etc. It made for a total body workout and I'm really feeling it today. I'll be back tomorrow for my next class and to finish signing up. Rich was very helpful when answering my questions and got the signup process started for me. He wasn't pushy though when I told him I'd have to wait until Friday to finish signing up though... payday! PROS: - monthly membership is for unlimited classes, - the class times are FANTASTIC making it easy to go, - workout at your own pace, - total body workout, - stress reliever, - good variety of movements in the workout. - golves provided (although you do need to get wraps $4.99 and they suggest getting your own gloves if you'll be coming alot) CONS: - a little $$ but everyone I know that does it says it's worth it - if you're in the back of the class or on the far sides it can be difficult to hear the instructor. read more
