The first thing I want to mention Scott is an expert diagnostician. He listen to me with patience and figured out the problem with our refrigerator. His service call was 1/2 the price of all the other people I called, and he refunded 1/2 of that price off my final bill. While he was waiting to make sure the repair worked properly, and it did, he checked out an issue with my stove top without charging me any extra. This is the kind of service you will never get from companies with a fleet of trucks and employees who come and go. Scott is a one man operation with a desire to treat people with respect and dignity. He is very pleasant and truly cares about people and his business. We hired Elevated Appliance to repair our Vinotemp wine cooler. It came with a one year warranty after the part they installed. We live out of town. The wine cooler has not worked properly since then. I have called repeatedly. Scott said he would show up while we were in town and never did and they refused to answer or return any of our calls or messages. I have left at least a dozen messages on the office as well as Scott's. Cell with no response the wine cooler is so loud now that you could hear it throughout the downstairs portion of the entire house and it doesn't keep the temperature cold so it's running most of the time it's been very frustrating. read more

We called Scott because our LG combined washer-dryer was failing to drain properly during the drying cycle. He arrived in South Lake very quickly and took his time to diagnose the issue, as well as a couple of other problems caused by a poor installation. We initially contacted Elevated Appliance Repair after discovering that the previous company we were using was no longer in business. We needed our dryer serviced because it appeared the heating element was no longer working. I can only think of positive things to say about the entire experience! Scott was quick to respond to our calls,super polite, on time and in some cases able to get here even earlier than anticipated. He ALWAYS called to keep us informed! We found the prices to be reasonable too. The last time we had him out, I mentioned a problem with my dishwasher and once he was done with the dryer, he took a look, quickly diagnosed the issue, and gave us a quote on the spot to fix it. The part is ordered and we know that he will repair it flawlessly! Sometimes an unfortunate situation leads to an even better encounter. I'm sorry the other company went out of business, but I am so happy to have found this one! My only concern is that all of the positive reviews will get him so busy that we might have to wait a little bit the next time when we need him. I'm torn between singing his praises and keeping this information to myself. But if you're like we were (in desperate need of a dryer repair), I'd much rather share the information. If I could give Scott of Elevated Appliance Repair more than five stars, I'd do it. I've had a Whirlpool range/oven for six years. Lately, I noticed that the right front burner seemed to be going off and on, and the left front burner only heated in the middle. I thought about buying a new range/oven during the Black Friday sales, but in the end decided to call Scott to see if he could fix the problem for less money than a new unit. Scott arrived on time, was extremely neat and clean in appearance, and quite personable. After hearing about my issues and checking the burners, he knew exactly what the trouble was and was kind enough to tell me so without making me feel like an idiot. After all this time, thanks to Scott, I learned that the burners on my range/oven have two settings. One setting is for both heating elements in the burner to heat up, and the other is for only the middle heating element to heat up. Scott also checked my oven to make sure it was working properly and was heating to the correct temperature. He recommended glass cleaner to use on the range top and cautioned me about using different cleaning products on the stainless-steel finish as well. I'm sure more than one appliance repair technician in Carson City would have gladly sold me new burners and charged for the labor to install them. Scott was honest and charged me only for a service call. I appreciate Scott's professionalism and candor more than he can ever know. If I have any issues with any of my appliances at home or at work, I will call Elevated Appliance Repair. I highly recommend Scott and his company to everyone. read more
