Costs a tad bit more than the typical Sams Club/Costco/Lens Crafters options but totally worth ever penny for better quality, selection and top notch service. Love the 2 year warranty of both frames and lens. Stopped in today after my son broke his frames in a freak accident yesterday and I was literally in and out in less than 10 minutes with brand new frames! What?! They happened to have the frames in stock and quickly changed out the lenses and adjusted them and handed them to me polished, in a new case and with a smile. No questions asked. No paperwork needed. Just gave them my sons name and the broken frames with lenses in a zip lock. I love supporting local businesses and I love that I'm treated like a valued customer. I love Elevated Eyecare. Dr's Michaela and Kyle Gilbert have a wonderful practice here. I have been a patient of Dr. Kyle Gilbert for almost 8 years now, and he makes sure to address any eye issues that patients may have. I have also heard many wonderful things about Dr. Michaela Gilbert and the quality of care that she provides too. The receptionists, the techs, and opticians have all been super helpful and I truly appreciate all their help with glasses questions, ordering contacts and even helping me with finding goggles. Here's some tips for if you go here: 1. If you don't want to get dilated, get Optomap (I believe it's around $42 extra--give or take a few dollars) but it is totally worth it and it makes it easier for digital records transfers to other eye care professionals should this be something you need {this isn't usually covered by vision insurance}. 2. Depending on your vision insurance your coverage will differ, it's always good to look this over ahead of time so that you don't have any surprises for costs (i.e. depending on your insurance and if you have coverage for both contacts and glasses or one vs. the other-- eye care places can help you understand your insurance but they cannot make changes as that's your plan administrator's duties). 3. If you get glasses, make sure to get the blue-light protection and the anti-reflective coatings. Each insurance covers a specific percentage of the coating types, so this depends on your plan. And depending on the coating type and vendor you go with, you can get a warranty on scratches on your lenses for I believe two years (which is really great and totally worth it for those of us who forget to put our frames in their cases or if we drop our lenses). 4. For all my snow-chasing friends here on the East side, this office carries Zeal Optics-- which means, yes, they have goggles. This is also great because sometimes you might need a new set of goggles and not want to drive all the way downtown. read more

Terrible bedside manor. The optometrist prescribed a trial pair that would improve my far sight, which it did not. No one from the office reached out to me to see if I liked them. I called in to order my older prescription. I was told I would get a text when they were in. I did not. I had to go on line to see that they were delivered 2 days earlier. When I came to pick them up they were still in the shipping box, no one even bothered to take them out and label the left or right eye boxes for me. Won't be back. read more

I'm still floored by the superb customer service I received, David was amazing. Not only did he have the frames I was looking for (after calling 5 different places), but he was able to get me lenses as well as they had them in stock (usually my glasses have to be sent off to fill the prescription). I had a complete set, ready to walk out the door, in an hour. It was magical. I'm used to waiting 1 or 2 weeks. And their in house lens are amazing, so light, great warranty. I haven't seen an eye doctor in 4-5 years: COVID, family circumstances, moving, etc. I found that Elevated Eyecare takes my insurance, and the reviews were good, so I made an appointment. Dr. Kyle Gilbert was very professional, friendly, kind, courteous, and caring. He explained everything, what to watch out for, etc. I will definitely be making an appointment for my husband as well. As for the office staff - very friendly and kind. The office itself is small, but very clean. You must wear a mask when you are in their facility. The eyewear department is very small, with a limited selection, although I found their selection a good one. I might shop on line, no sure. I do have 3 pairs of frames written down in my file. I also have the frame names/numbers written down as well. Due to a very recent death in the family, things are on hold for the moment, as I/we have other things to take care of that take precedence. Anyway, I will definitely go back to Elevated Eyecare. I do recommend them as well. Thank you. read more

With a move to the other side of the country fast approaching, I figured it was time to finally figure out why I was seeing floaters and to make sure my eyes were ok. They were able to fit me into the schedule quickly so I could come in before my move. A few days before the visit, I tweaked my back and had a terrible time walking and sitting. The staff was so kind and accommodating to me when I hobbled into the office. The Dr. did a thorough exam and even took pictures behind my eyes to check and make sure everything was ok. The office is pristine, and the staff is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The only negative for me was their selection of glasses. As someone with a round shaped face, I only found one pair of glasses that wasn't too small on my head. But the exam itself was very well done. If I were staying in Denver, I would absolutely be back and would recommend Elevated Eyecare to anyone in need of a great eye doctor. read more

Called Elevated after seeing all the glowing reviews to check to make sure they accepted my Medicare coverage. Yes, they did -- there'd be a $50 co-pay. If I wanted a refraction exam it would be $35. Great! Made an appt. Paid $85 before exam as requested. When exam finished I was told I owed another $204.00 for two other exams I received that I was not told were at an additional cost. $289 JUST for eye exam(s). Why so careful to tell me of the additional cost of the refraction exam, and not the additional costs for the others? No contacts or glasses. Nope. Won't be back. read more

This was the best Eyecare visit I've ever had in my life. Everyone was really friendly. Fatima at the desk got me checked in quickly and nicely. Victoria helped with doing my initial tests and she was great and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Kyle Gilbert was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly and made everything easy to understand. He was even able to slightly improve my prescription which is hugely important for me! When choosing a frame and lenses, Nakai (I love that name!) made it super easy and helped me choose the frames and lenses that worked best for me. I've been going to Elevated Eyecare for more than three years now for my routine yearly exams. The care is excellent as is the equipment they have for testing. I always opt for their eye imaging add-on option in lieu of getting dilated so I don't lose the rest of my workday. I had a great experience! Had my eye exam first which was very thorough. I saw some frames I liked but wanted to shop around before I bought since it's a big purchase. I ended up going back to Elevated Eyecare after looking at 4 other places to buy my glasses. The selection was great - some different brands that weren't carried at other stores and a middle price range (not astronomical but also not the cheap frames that feel like they won't last). I settled on a nice pair of titanium Modo frames that weight half as much as my current ones. The team here - all friendly, personable, helpful without being pushy. There is a reason he is no longer with Pearl. You have many choices. Any would be better than this crook. ***Clarification and Response*** My issues were never with Pearl vision, in fact Pearl resolved my issues after you refused to even when they were not responsible for your shoddy work. The prescription you wrote was incorrect and had to be corrected. YOU handed me expired contacts NOT Pearl vision YOU refused to correct any issues when contacted directly NOT Pearl. Pearl vision stood up and resolved your less than acceptable work. I now see correctly both with glasses and contacts. thanks to Active eyes and Pearl vision. YOU refused to do anything without me paying you a second time, and who knows if that would have been a correct prescription the second go around. read more

I have worked with 3 different eye care providers in the last 2 years and my experience with Elevated has left me wondering how I could have ever gone anywhere else. They are friendly professional, communicative and go out of their way to take care of customers.
