Get your belt out!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaat! Wait a minute here. I can't believe I've passed this up so many times! The burger was to die for. Flavorful and yummy for this girls tummy! I'd take this any day over shake shack. Fries were yummy too! As far as salads, they have them. Pre-made! The shake, ehhhh, not the best but, I got a chocolate one. It needed more chocolate. No whip cream or cherry on top, seriously. Isn't that standard? Well, the burger was great and after all that is what they market. Please try. Definitely a come back spot.

Maybe it was the media hype or word on the street, but I've heard statements like "It's the best burger ever." On a day trip to Hyattsville, I decided to check it out for myself. After a 30 minute lunch there, I can say it is NOT the best burger you'll ever eat. Elevation Burger is in the heart of the newly developed downtown Hyattsville, but the space itself is nothing special. There are standard fast casual tables in an open space and some window seating. It's organic and thy sell organic products like Honest Tea (winning), but the food itself isn't special. I had the chicken spicy sandwich and it was bland. My wife had the half the guilt burger and wasn't impressed. The fries were not bad, simple, but not bad. If you want a good burger, head into DC to Good Stuff, Ray's Hell Burger or even Five Guys.

A burger place and I had one with no meat. My wife's been giving me the guilts for eating animals, so I decided that today would be the death of several potatoes and other veggies and I'd be able to satisfy my hunger for a cheeseburger. Lots of cheese, lots of veggies and a pretty decent veggie patty is what I had. A good sized portion that had a lot of flavor and a lot of messy, drippy cheese, which was exactly what I wanted. The fries were decent. Not terribly greasy but I realized after I started that some cheese on top would have been ideal. They have milkshakes but my choice was for one of the sarsaparillas from the cooler. Mmmm!

I had a really great chicken sandwich here. The chicken was good sized and the sandwich overall was flavorful. The fries needed salt and to be a bit crisper, so I was slightly disappointed. Also, I could've used some hot sauce. My coffee Oreo shake was delicious and I'd order that again. The staff was friendly, and Elevation seems perfect for a quick bite.

Single burger, simple fries. Siracha mayo and elevation sauce on the side.

I would give this place 3 and 1/2 stars if I could. There are a few reasons that I am docking them their stars so let me explain... I went in right before noon with a friend. We each got a create your own single burger with cheddar cheese. We split an order of simple fries and a fountain drink. Just that was a little over $16. I realize it is organic and grass fed and whatever but seriously?! So with my wallet hurting I went and got a drink. I tried the Wild Bill (I think that is what it was called) root beer. It was really good but just a bit to sweet for me. So I decided on a coke while my friend easily found seating. Food came quickly and I hoped that this 16ish bucks would be worth it. The fries were a good amount, easily split between us. They were thinner then I would of like but they were ok. Nothing spectacular. I dipped it in a side of the siracha mayo which was good. It had just the right amount of kick. I also got elevation sauce on the side. I will say I have no idea what is in it or what it tastes like. It has a smaller kick of heat but ends on a cooler note. I wasn't so much of a fan. The burger. Let's talk about the main event. The cheese wasn't melted but it was soft and getting there. I would want them to put the cheese on the burger on the grill so it has the heat to melt. The burger itself was great! It was juicy and succulent. Cooked to perfection. The bread wasn't overwhelming and complimented it nicely. The place was clean and the staff friendly. I would go back for just the burger and skip the fries and drink. Definitely with siracha mayo on the side to dip my burger. 1 star for price and 1 star for lack luster fries. And 1/2 a star just bc of my disappointment.

I feel conflicted writing this review. The only reason I dragged my butt to this place was because their veggie burger came highly recommended to me. So on a saturday evening, I came here to try their veggie burger. Here is the good - the Veggie patty inside my burger was legit - it was more than just lentils/ beans (i abhor beans) and was super flavorful. The bun was also good. They skimpped majorly on my toppings - like 1 piece of grilled onion (seriously?!), but the kicker bummer - their cheese sucks! It's the kind of cheese that tasted and felt like rubber. It was horrible - both the cheddar and the swiss cheese. And I can tell you now - DO NOT try their grilled cheese for the same reason above - the CHEESE in the grilled CHEESE was horrible! The Fiery fires (mis-spelled on their menu) sounded great, but were executed poorly. The fries were soggy, the CHEESE (again) was rubbery and the jalapenos were old and sad. All in all, the next time I crave a veggie burger, I might come back here (hence the 3 stars), but other than that, I... I stay away..

OMG When are they coming to Baltimore? I was in D.C and we drove all the way to Bethesda during rush hour traffic to get a burger. The Burger and fries were so amazing. This place was one step up from Five Guys. The Restaurant was really clean. Including the bathrooms. There was no long lines. Our order was ready in less than five minutes. They also have Vegan options as well. You know in 2017 Everybody is a Vegan and eating healthy. (Except for me) I created my own burger and had some of their french fries. It was amazing! I can't wait to go back!

We shared the corn, which was perfectly sweet and tangy, ordered three lemonades, and tried a handful of tacos. The taco de lengua was tender and moist without being fatty, the barbacoa was savory with just the right hint of sweetness, and the carne asada was hearty, meaty, and full of flavor. We wrapped things up with a flan that was creamy and custardy--exactly how it should be. The packed parking lot says it all about this place's popularity. Don't miss out.

There are definitely a variety of taco choices. I haven't been unsatisfied yet. There is a small eating area inside away from the bottleneck area where people order and pick up their food but I don't think I'd ever want to eat inside since it's way too busy and the ambiance would be too hectic for me to deal with. There are other choices of sides or extras like maíz loco (corn on the cob with a variety of toppings like mayo, catsup, crumbled cheese, tajín...your choices), dried pork rinds, chicharrón (chewier and crispy version of the pork rinds), atole (hot, masa-based beverage made from corn dough, water or milk, sweetened with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla). There are quick desserts to go too. I would highly recommend ordering ahead so you can get in and out or figuring out the less congested times. I've come during the dinner rush hours time but hadn't been planning on getting it ahead of time. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come back.

What's hot - Quality. Pretty good. Our Calexico pizza actually had a spicy kick, which is what we wanted. It's not easy finding places that follow through on their menu description, so that was nice. The pizza was warm and flavorful. The crust wasn't soggy and it had a nice texture. Our salad was delicious, as well. - Portions. Not bad, but not enough for sharing depending on the size of your group. A good amount of toppings, as well, which was nice. All the ingredients we ordered for our salad were included with enough to share. No skimping. - Menu variety. Pretty good variety, which is nice. They have more than the standard options, including things like artichokes, peppers, garlic, a variety of cheeses, meats, veggies. It appears that they may be vegan friendly, too, which is helpful. - Price. Pretty reasonable for what you pay for. Just be prepared this place is less for big groups and sharing. - Service. Our food was ready, packaged, warm and waiting when they said it would be ready. Definitely appreciate their timeliness. When I gave them the name for the order, their staffer had no problem finding our food. Efficient and effective. What's not - Crust. Their mega crust isn't as thick as we liked, but it's not bad. Just be prepared that they really don't have a good thick crust option. - Portions. Not bad, but not great. It was enough for hubby and I to share, but not enough for us to get full. It was a good thing we ordered a salad to go with our meal. - Parking. Depending on the day and time you come, parking is not always going to be easy in this plaza. For that reason alone, I'd recommend take away. - Health and safety. When we arrived to pick up our order, I noticed that none of their staff wore masks. During this time of the pandemic, when things are uncertain, we appreciate businesses that take extra precautions, because they interact with the public. Final Answer Pretty good and will probably return.
