They changed me over 35k for a solar system and then they installed a curb system to monitor. Well, now that system is no long working, and they charged me $200 to look at it, now they want me to pay $35 a month to install a new one. What a rip off. They should provide that for free since I will be paying for this solar system until I am 84 years old. DON'T BUY FROM THESE GUYS, THEY ARE A SCAM.

Extensive water damage to multiple roof sections under the solar installation

Elevation solar has been on my roof in AZ for 4+ years and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Jan 2023 - Roof leaks over unfinished AZ room. Elevation sends 3 different crews over 4-5 months to squeeze some more glue into their roof penetrations. Visible leaks subside. Fall 2023 - we start enclosing AZ room in a remodel. Christmas 2023 - water suddenly pouring into our almost finished room through the ceiling. Jan 2024 - Elevation proposes I pay them $250 per panel (x37) to remove my system so my roofer can fix in a timely manner without voiding my warranty. Feb 2024 - Elevation finally removes our system under warranty and sends their roofer to repair, see photos. Elevation agrees to reimburse me for my contractor to redo their remodel work and for mold abatement since the ceiling was growing mold and unsafe. Mar 2024 - Elevation reinstalls our system. They brought a crew from out of state because they don't have enough people here. Apr 2024 - Still waiting to be repaid the $8k I'm owed from Elevation, bird guard they didn't replace and compensation for 7 weeks of missed solar production. In the process, our construction was drawn out longer, our home remained torn up and I can't begin to describe the mental and emotional toll this has taken on our family. I get that people make mistakes and I have all the patience in the world for individuals trying to do their best. My issues with this company are: - repeated poor workmanship on roof penetrations by multiple crews, leading to serious damage and mold/health risk to my family - gaslighting by upper management - unacceptably long wait times (4-6 weeks) for service appointments in this situation while water continues to intrude This company only responds to legal threats and they don't care about their reputation - go look at an average of 1 BBB complaint per week over the past three years. People in the industry don't like working with them, their crews turn over frequently and don't like working there because all of their customers are angry. If someone from Elevation wants to spend the time to respond to this, can I ask a favor and instead have you spend that time on getting my check sent out.

PATHETIC! We were looking to upgrade the insulation in our attic over the house and to insulate the garage and and the space between the garage ceiling and the roof. In AZ rarely do garages come with insulation and in that ours faces south in the summer the garage interior can easily reach 120F. It started off okay with the techs showing up, drilling the holes needed to do the walls and spraying the fiberglas through out the attic of the existing home. I had asked for pictures of (before/after) for each section as they were done. I should have known when I didn't get what I asked for there would be other issues. I was told that if they went back to take the pictures they would compress the stuff they had just blown in as they walked over it. They started on the walls in the garage, bored holes in the drywall and proceeded to fill the cavities. they said they got it all done packed up their gear and left. About a week later I started filling the holes with the drywall plugs they had cut out. As I did I noticed that there were sections where they did not drill so I called Elevations, found out that my rep had left and/or been terminated. After going through a number of people I finally got to the right person and he said he would have someone out in 2 days, well, unfortunately he was sick and forgot to schedule anyone to fix the issue. 3 days later it did happen. I would like to say that this story was at an end but... fast forward 3 months. We needed to replace a hot water tank in the garage and the plumber said he needed to run the overflow pipe to the outside. When we came back he had done it. I looked at the hole and asked what he had done with the insulation, he told me there was none in the wall. That seemed strange but then I checked for blocking in the walls and found that 50" up the wall there was a 2"x4" band around the entire garage, so potentially half of the wall had not been insulated. So I called them back again and was told they would have a crew out at 11AM on Monday, but they never showed and I had to call to find out one of the crews called in sick so it would be Tuesday. My question at this point, is it incompetence? is it lack of training? or is it Elevations company philosophy to see how little work they can do and get away with it to pad their profits? I'm sure SRP would be interested, this is one of their "preferred" contractor for both solar and insulation. Today is Tuesday 10:45AM the crew showed up at 11:30, all things considered not bad. I showed them the one opening with the hole the plumber put in, and the point that I thought the blocking was, and they used a 4" holesaw to open the hole and look, there was no insulation! They opened the next 3 cavities and all were empty. I ended up having all the cavities opened, total of 43, 13 were empty. That works out to approximately 30% did not have the insulation that I paid for! Lastly when I asked the manager to get the cutouts put back in the wall he told me it was my problem, thay had fulfilled their "commitment"? To put the 43 pieces back in, tape, texture and paint is approx $900. In no way would I recommend this company

Does not bother reading no soliciting on the door. Harassing an 80 year old that kept saying he wasn't interested.

Their warranty stood out immediately as being far superior to the others, which gave me a lot of confidence moving forward. What really set them apart was their full-service approach. They handled everything--from HOA approval and permitting to system design--making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Unlike other companies I spoke with that rely heavily on sales reps and subcontractors, Aneva completes all work in-house, which made a big difference to me. The installation team was outstanding--professional, polite, and very respectful of my home. They kept the work area clean throughout the process, and even went the extra mile in small ways (one of the installers even brought cookies for my dogs!). Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The installation quality, communication, and follow-up have all been excellent. I highly recommend Aneva Solar to anyone considering going solar.

Our experience from beginning to end was better than hoped for. Our dealing with Chris on the front end and our tech were all professional and dependable. We definitely would do business with this company again. They don't offer an annual inspection plan but if they did we would sign up. Solar is a big investment and having someone look at it annually who know what to look for would bring tremendous piece of mind.

Green Muscle installed my solar and Powerwall on December 31st. They sold it as a single day…read moreinstall because my system supposedly wasn't complex. What actually happened was weeks of touch and go work by several different techs before the system did what I was told it would do when I signed the contract. The crew showed up on time that first day. Joseph, the lead, showed up an hour late. At the end of the shift he made a point of complaining about staying late, which was him making up the hour he'd missed, and they wouldn't stay the two hours it would have taken to actually finish. The job got left unfinished and my Powerwall got left sitting outside uncovered. They had to send a tech back out on a separate trip just to put the cover on it, and this was during a stretch when we were getting scattered showers. Before the install I told Andre, my project manager, that I didn't want panels anywhere roof vents would put shade on them. They installed two right next to a taller vent anyway, so depending on where the sun was, one or the other sat in shade for part of the day. If you're looking at a string inverter system, this matters much more than it sounds like it should. Panels on a string are wired in series, so the entire string produces at the level of its weakest panel. A single shaded panel doesn't just cost you that panel's output, it drags down every panel on the string for as long as the shade is there. That's the whole reason I brought it up before they started. They ended up having to come back out and relocate both. The backup is the part I'd want anyone considering this company to read. I never asked for anything less than whole home backup, not one time, and I signed on the assurance that my whole house would run on solar. What was actually written into the contract was partial, essentials only backup. When I raised it, nobody at the company could trace back a single piece of communication showing how that decision got made or who made it. Then after the install it came out that the solar couldn't see any load that wasn't on the backup panel, which meant most of my house was never going to run on solar the way it had been described to me. Their answer to that was an energy monitor. I spent weeks troubleshooting it before we established that it could only see half of my EV charger's draw, so it was never going to solve anything. Their next proposal was to move the charger onto the backup panel and bill me for the whole home backup that should have been scoped correctly in the first place. They had also missed my HVAC controller. So when the power went out, my air conditioning went out with it and roughly 90% of my house sat dark in the middle of the day at peak solar production. In Arizona. That is the single scenario this system exists to prevent. I also ended up running the entire interconnection process with my utility, ED3, mostly on my own. Coordinating with the power company is squarely a project manager's job, and honestly it was one of the specific reasons I wanted a company that assigns a dedicated PM to every install. Andre was AWOL for that whole process. I was the one tracking where things stood, following up, and keeping it moving. Beyond that, Andre kept telling me things were normal when they clearly were not, and nothing got resolved unless I pushed for it myself. At one point he forwarded me a reply asking for a photo I had already provided in that same email chain. When it escalated, Brett, one of the owners, asked me why I had agreed to a partial backup, which put his own company's scoping error back on me, and then told me he'd lose money covering the whole home backup because of how far out I live. Most of those trips he was counting were rework his own team created. I chose Green Muscle in part because every job gets a dedicated project manager. That turned out to be the weakest part of the entire experience. The system works now, months later, and only because I wouldn't let it go.
