I hired this company through a referral from BJ's Wholesale Club, expecting professional installation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The technician arrived and spent 4 hours mounting my TV. Less than 10 minutes after he left, the TV fell completely out of the wall. After I contacted the company, the technician returned with his father and reinstalled it. That should have been the first red flag. The TV was installed in September 2025. In April 2026, the TV fell out of the wall again -- this time causing serious damage: * Destroyed my TV * Damaged my wall / sheetrock * Left me with additional repair costs I contacted FixTman LLC again, and their response was that they would do nothing because it had been more than 30 days. To make matters worse, Thumbtack Quality Assurance also stepped in and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf. They contacted FixTman LLC directly, only to be told the exact same thing -- that I only had 30 days and they would not take responsibility. Let that sink in. A properly mounted TV should not fall out of a wall -- not once, and definitely not twice. This was not normal wear and tear. This was poor workmanship, improper installation, and a complete lack of accountability. In over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this. Please do your research before hiring this company. I will also be reporting this experience to BJ's Wholesale Club, since they referred them. I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.

I had measured high Radon levels in the basement, up to 17 pCi/L. John thought through the situation effectively, identified a good spot for and installed a Radon mitigation system and did some other sealing work in the basement. Radon levels dropped dramatically after he finished and are now consistently way below the 4 pCi/L level that requires mitigation. I would strongly recommend him if you have a Radon problem.

The movers put a hole in the back of the dresser and tore off a leg. We were told that the "manager would take care of it". We received estimates to repair the damage, and tried to notify Mighty Movers several times to get reimbursement for the cost of the damage. They did not respond to any of our messages. I have a Better Business Bureau complaint filed and they have not responded to them either. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY or you will regret it. They will damage your furniture and then ghost you when you try to get them to rectify the damage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND or trust this business!!!

Let me just say, I am THRILLED I found Mighty Movers. Not only were they completely professional, they were also fast! They had everything moved with no damage to my home at all in under the two hour timeframe. They were also gracious enough to move boxes I asked them to move after they arrived. I had the company come out on 09/20/2025 what an experience not in a good way. As I was leaving, I was shocked to see my entertainment center at the entryway of the complex (broken in parts). It literally fell out of their truck. Of course, in a panic, I frantically park my car to move it the best I could out of the entrance to the complex before any cars tried to leave. I reached out to the team that left and was told they couldn't come back for 45 minutes. I immediately fired off emails stating what happened. My entire day was ruined because I had to stick around to see if the items were going to get picked and I felt the need to drive around to see what else dropped out the truck. No surprise as soon as I finished pulling the entertainment center to the curb and getting back in my car, I turned the corner out of the complex to find a large piece of a computer desk in the middle of the road near the major intersection. I went into another panic because cars were running over the board and I was afraid it might flip to hit someone's car. I again raced to park to see if I could run out into the middle of the road before cars came but the piece was run over several times that it landed in the worse location with the view being blocked by oncoming traffic from the opposite end. I couldn't get a grip on the board because cars were coming so I'm literally in the road trying to kick the board to the side of the road with my foot (yes it was painful). Luckily, one car saw my efforts and stopped. It was not a cool temperature day and I'm no spring chicken (which I'm surprised I didn't have any health issues from the adrenaline, embarrassment, frustration and desperation to move these items). Since I couldn't leave this heavy board on the side of the road, I'm literally trying to carry this wood board back to where the entertainment center fell out the truck (definitely not a short walk). It was exhausting and humiliating to run around and lift items that should've been hauled away given the amount paid for just a few items. I finally was able to speak with a representative who made an offer based on my troubles created by their team. I agreed to the offer from the representative and waited what is more than a reasonable time period (9/22/2025 to12/2/2025) without any luck. While there are things that can happen when the team is working from one job to the next, it is more important how the company handles the issue with the customer that can change how the overall experience is viewed. It makes the difference in showing that a small company stands by it's service and sets it aside from the bigger companies. Unfortunately, I was extremely reasonable even when the worker was going to lose a week of work for the incident. I was completely against this in today's economy and just asked that improved quality standards be in place so it doesn't happen again. I understand the workers are doing this all day so things are going to happen. Again, it's not about what happened during the service as the biggest issues, it's about how it is handled by the company. I do everything I can to support small businesses but I think the more I do the more problems I experience. As someone who wants to extend as much grace as possible, the constant waiting on the USPS at this point is beyond reasonable. Nevertheless, I wish the company the best and hope they take this as a lesson learned to improve how to resolve issues immediately. I didn't expect to be part of the crew that day with having to move my own heavy items out of the street when I paid for someone else to do it.

Angela is also immensely helpful with scheduling and with any issues that come up. Our house has two levels that needed abatement so Janryk installed a system on one level that connected both and pulled from both to get the radon out. The levels dropped quickly but then popped back up. So he came back, investigated, and installed a bigger fan. That also wasn't getting the levels to the point we needed but Janryk came back again and installed a supplemental system. He stands by his work, and guarantees it. He and his team are such a pleasure to work with.

Space was clean, showed me the system was working with a suction test, explained the meter and were on their way. Radon levels have dropped by 75% in the first few hours. Couldn't be happier.
