But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

I just want to start by saying the service - THE SERVICE - here is phenomenal! My husband and I had Christy as our server and boy was she a delight. Attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable about the menu and decor. She was so accomodating of my dietary needs and made sure that everything was to my liking. Her recommendations for the fritters, veg flatbread and Beach Juice were absolutely delicious. She recommended the big pig, porter beer, and lobster dog for my hubby and he was so delighted with the food. The food was just as fantastic as the service and we will most definitely be coming back for more. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and cozy and the owner came and talked to us personally which was a kind gesture. She is also just fabulous. Okay, so I checked out Eleven80 in Boone the other day, and it's got a really cool vibe. The place is super modern and stylish, but still feels cozy, you know? It's the kind of spot where you can actually relax and enjoy your time. The food was seriously good. I tried their Tuesday Taco Special, and it was amazing! Plus, they have a bunch of other options, from salads to sandwiches, so there's something for everyone. The drinks are great too they've got a good selection of craft beers and cocktails. Honestly, Eleven80 is a great spot if you're looking for a place with good food, a cool atmosphere, and a place where you can just chill. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in Boone. A true find. Second visit. Great prices and GREAT food. Started with a Darkest Storm, very refreshing, and my husband had a house special drink of the night. The house special drink changes up weekly and uses seasonal ingredients. Wonderful!! Had the fried Brussel Sprouts. Amazing! We shared the Red Snapper special over grits. Can't wait to go back! If you want a fantastic break from skiing, hiking, shopping or endless school snow days, stop by the Eleven80 Eatery. The owners are so friendly and attentive to all of their patrons. Sandy is just awesome. They have a great draft beer list from local brewers and the small plates are just delightful! The restaurant is located in the Boone mall but is definitely not the typical mall restaurant-very cute and the food and atmosphere are great! read more

This is a must visit restaurant for Boone NC. My wife and I visit this establishment frequently and we love the atmosphere. We highly recommended the trout dip and I personally love the wild buffalo flat bread. The owners are very friendly and so are the staff! The food didn't taste fresh but the service was great. The bartender came off very rude and loud to the servers, you could see the uncomfortable interactions going on in the front of house. Awkward. Other than that, I had the mountaineer martini and it was pretty good. Only reason I'm giving these 2 stars is for the dessert they don't even make and the service. read more
