During the summer they have every kind of outdoor plant, flowers, trees, shrubs, etc. The inside boasts rows of gorgeous plants, succulents, herbs, houseplants super large and small. They sell gardening tools, soil, fertilizer, seeds/starter kits, plant remedies, gardening decor and have a beautiful selection of pots and planters too. I have seen snake plants here over 6-7 feet tall, enormous fiddle leaf figs, anything you can imagine they probably have it at some point. One part of the greenhouse has cute rustic house decor and gifts. During the winter months they still maintain a large houseplant selection, and turn a portion of the greenhouse into a beautiful Christmas wonderland full of beautiful Christmas decor. They also sell real Christmas trees, pine wreathes and pine decor. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. At one point over the summer I think I came here once a week! I am very happy that they are open during the winter months and are following all Covid safety precautions as well. Definitely helped me cope with 2020. I can't boast about them enough! Beautiful displays of healthy roses and hydrangeas used to grace the front welcoming in the coastal summer... this year- lots of empty ceramic pots and anemic 4th of July plant displays that look reminiscent of Lowe's. She incorporated beautiful free spirit roses with greenery and sunflowers to make the fall bouquet of my dreams. I asked her if she could do a "pocket" boutonnière for my husband after seeing them on TikTok. She said she had never made one but she'd give it a try. It was absolutely perfect. No pesky pins, it just slid right into his suit pocket. When I went to pick it up she had given me a spare regular boutonnière in case the pocket boutonnière didn't work out- so my dad ended up wearing the spare because he was walking me down the aisle. I also ordered a mini boutonnière for my nephew (our ring bearer) and it was the most adorable little thing. It always pains me to write a negative review for a company that I'd earlier been happy with, but…read morethe utter lack of response through two different channels has given me no other avenue. BEWARE of hidden costs with this company. I'd made some costly purchases from SCN in past years, but I'd always transported my bushes and trees home myself and did the planting. This year, and with growing back issues, I'd decided to have the trees I purchased planted by the company. I purchased two different trees a few weeks apart, hoping to have them scheduled together. I spoke/dealt with two different employees and BOTH times, they explicitly told me the cost of planting and delivery were half the cost of the trees. Planting AND delivery. Both times I asked questions and both times they were told my address. Both times there were ample opportunities for transparency on any additional costs I could incur, but they were steadfast in telling me to expect half the cost of the trees. I waited seven weeks for them to reach me on their delivery schedule, but they did not confirm the day and time until TWENTY minutes before Jake was arriving at my home (he apologized that he forgot). I scrambled to rearrange my morning and had to cancel a work teams call. Jake was great and professional, however, when I went to write out my check, he quoted me an additional $100. When I told him this was entirely unexpected and I wasn't exactly happy about it, he didn't have much to say, staring at his feet and saying that sometimes 'they forget to tell customers' and it's 'based on many factors'. To clarify, we are a straight shot down the highway just a few exits from SCN. Depending on the route, we are 12-14 miles from them. That's it! If they wanted to upcharge for being out of a service radius, they could have been transparent, but they weren't- not to mention the fact that I have NEVER heard of such a short distance being out of a service radius. I have messaged them both through their Facebook portal and also directly to their sales department weeks ago and have heard NOTHING. A $100 gift card or credit for the erroneous upcharge would be a step to making this right, but they don't even respond. SCN has some nice inventory, but they are on the higher end with their pricing if you compare locally. With the added cost, I will have to seriously consider taking my business elsewhere.
