I chose Elite Appliance Repairs mainly because of their high review ratings on both Google and Yelp. I have a Jenair cooktop JGD3430BS00 which had one stuck burner valve and two ignitors that were not working properly, i.e. firing but not lighting up gas. Elte sent me their repair tech, Kiro on 7/03/25. I was told a visit charge of $85 and if I would hire them for repair that will be applied towards my total charges. Kiro came on time and quoted me a $350 charge that included the cost for burner valve which typically runs around $60 on website like appliancepartsPros.com and FIXING the two ignitors. I double checked with Kiro that his $350 quote included fixing the ignitor problem and not only replacing the broken burner valve. Kiro confirmed. Kiro also asked for a $150 deposit which I paid and he said that typically parts are available within a week and that in the next week he will come and install the broken valve and also teh take care of the ignitor issue which he attributed to dirty burner orifice. I checked back 10 days later and was told that they are still waiting for the parts to arrive. Anyways Kiro finally came to fix the issue with my cooktop on 8/14/25. He replaced the broken valve however did not fix the ignitor problem. Instead he told me that the ignitor problem was because of cracked ignitor head so I need to replace that and there will be an additional cost of $80 to replace it. I'm leaving 2 stars because the work delivered didn't match what was promised and quoted. The tech, Kiro confirmed the $350 included fixing the ignitors, but on install day refused to do it without an extra $80--after weeks of waiting. That felt neither transparent nor fair. read more

Home warranty services scheduled this company. However, for both stove and refrigerator they denied service based on contractor's feed back - Not a normal wear and tear. Refrigerator display was not working how on earth is it not a normal wear and tear. Stove knobs were not working, However, contractor identified crack in the stove glass and insurance denied due to not a normal wear and tear. Whereas it was nothing to do with knobs. People cook food on stove and over a period of time it wears and being very hot glass can crack too. First they are sending contractors with no common sense and looking for their feedback instead of using their brain and denying service. What is the purpose of having insurance? They ruined my dryer. American Homeshield sent them out months ago to replace a part and my dryer has been grinding and burning rubber since. First off let me say that we were quoted a service fee of $80 dollars, to have them come out and take a look. This $80 would be charged even if we decided the price was going to be too much. If we went ahead with the work, that fee would be deducted from the overall amount. Once we were told this, we initially declined, in hopes of being able to get a quote outright, from another company. The guy immediately texted us back and said to send him pictures of the old and new unit to compare that everything was the same size. We did...but he came back with that he wasn't able to tell for certain. So we went ahead and made the mistake of having them come out and give us a quote. Long story short, it ended up costing us $300! The unit was exactly the same size. The adapter matched the fitting and the regulator was exactly the same. The only problem is that the service guy couldn't get the original regulator off...so he ended up having to run out to get a replacement. It took him less than 20 minutes once he returned, and if he wouldn't have had any issue, the entire process would have taken him under an hour. I like my new cook top but DO NOT recommend this company. read more

Called Elite Appliance on a Saturday morning when I realized my fridge stopped cooling. Ramy came out and fixed a drain issue with my fridge. Showed up 20 min after I called them. Unfortunately this didn't fix the problem. Rather than charge me a bunch of money to change parts Ramy came back 2 more times. Today we came to the conclusion that our fridge had seen its last day. Fixing it wasn't worth it because it was having so many issues. Ramy was always on time, very polite, very knowledgeable and didn't rip me off. Thanks for coming out and for the advice! I had two appliances needing attention but was worried about repair costs, so I went shopping instead. New appliances are expensive, so opted for a professional opinion on repairs. These guys were reasonably priced, prompt, gave me price for the job and explanation as to what was wrong. He took a down payment and scheduled once he had the parts. work was completed and it all works again, hopefully for a long time. in the end it cost a tenth to get them repaired vs replaced. My recommendation is to call them, get their opinion, then make your decision. I will do so in the future. read more

Elite Appliances Repair Review The freezer part of our refrigerator was not staying cold. We called Elite. From the beginning, these guys didn't act like repairmen I've known. The lead guy was very argumentative and defensive. The 1st few visits ended by them saying they'd need some part, they'd have it in a few days. The parts NEVER arrived that fast. More like a week. I'd call the office, and that guy would say, we can't help you until the part comes in, but it's coming in tomorrow. It never did. It was a way for them to avoid returning, after specifically promised they would (you know, "when the part gets in.") I had to yell and warn them they being evasive. Finally they showed. The part had been a little magnet on the door open bell. It was completely irrelavent. He put in more freon. No help. So he put in more freon. It worked for 2 days. Then he sealed the inside of freon system. That helped for 5 days. All of this cost about $500. He did say freon and seal not guarenteed. He should have pronounced the thing dead, not upsold us over it. Since then they haven't called or appeared. The workmenship just kept getting worse and worse as the expenses climbed. Now fridge is useless junk. I wouldn't want to call either if I were them. read more

We requested service for our refrigerator. Technician came and did some work, asked us to sign paperwork indicating what he had done, and told us to thaw our refrigerator so that he could come back and finish the work. Since then, we've called the Elite office a number of times. Each time the person indicates that he'll have the technician call us or that he would personally call us back. Each time, NOTHING ! We have called at least four to five time. Also, unbeknownst to us, they submitted the work order they had us sign as a complete ticket to our insurance company and got paid Delete Elite from your list of service companies. Updating my update: Please do not use this company. I disputed a service with this company with Chase because I never received the part/service I put a deposit on. The dispute was settled privately with the company via Zelle with a refund to me for a part/service I never received. I was asked to call my credit card company to tell them the dispute was settled. Which I did. The credit card company then reissued payment to them. I have been contacted by Remond Soliman several times requesting that I contact my credit card company again about this dispute because he stated that a new dispute was filed (which it was not). I have sent the proof of the transaction being rebilled and have spoken to Chase several times about this. This dispute is settled. I was also asked to send him back the 150 dollars he sent me originally to resolve this. I understand that this company did not bill me again, but Chase rebilled me and sent the original payment back to them. so why hassle me about this when it's settled. read more

Essam Sadek he came to my house, 1/25/22 3 PM/ to look at repair my clogged dishwasher, he was very rude and impolite, he started asking my questions such as how many contractors came before me to look at this problem, I responded one, then he asked me what was the name of that company, I responded why is important, you need to look at the issue independently and resolve the issue. He got upset and took his stuff and left. That is ridiculous! I don't know what is wrong with this man and how these types of contractors could stay be in Business. AHS contracted with this company to fix my trash compactor in April. Elite sent a man out who took my husband's hammer off of the wall and destroyed the compactor. I personally witnessed him do this. I am scared of this man. AHS is trying to force me to let this man come back into my home. It's now July and still no compactor. I reached out to Elite Thursday night and they were able to come out Saturday afternoon. They communicated well, were reasonably priced, and friendly. My dishwasher was not working, but it turned out to be a plumbing issue, not a dishwasher issue. Raymond was honest with me. I still was charged the service call, but he assured me if there was an issue with the dishwasher in the near future, he'll apply the money I had just paid him to the future repairs. Terrible!! IT'S BEEN A MONTH AND THE REFRIGERATOR IS STILL NOT FIXED!! They said they need to order part after part to fix it but each part takes multiple days to arrive and then they take days to come back to fix. This is literally the refrigerator we're talking about. Imagine going a month without your fridge!! They don't care. We have encountered missed work/ had to take vacation each time they came to "fix" it. No one has the time or money to go to work, then leave every they say. Not to mention all of the money that was wasted from the food that was originally in the fridge AND all of the money spent on eating out/ not being able to store food! This is literally ridiculous and we are angry! They even ordered the wrong part so now we have to wait more time! Why didn't they order all the parts at once? Why did they take so long to come back? AHS selected this company to fix our Samsung washing machine that was making noises during the spin and rinse cycle. The tech tested it and said it was working fine without opening the machine. Washing machine continued to make noises and when I asked them to come back out..........they refused. AHS assigned the case to another company that came out, listened to the customer(us)and opened up the machine and discovered the source of the problem and was able to fix with 30 minutes. Remon came out the same day to look at our GE dishwasher. Our issue was the dishwasher would turn on and off by itself and then it would be off and won't turn back on. He suggested that it maybe 2 issues, either the panel or the board is out. We expressed that there is a light lit on the board which shows it is working. Remon was courteous and listened to our comments even though he is the professional here. He looked at the board and confirmed we were correct so the issue would be the panel went out. He got the part within 3 business days and fixed it for us. He is very professional and courteous. We would definitely be using Elite again. read more

Absolutely awful experience with Raymond and Elite Appliance Repair. Over a period of three and a half weeks, Raymond was unprofessional, unhelpful, and my LG refrigerator is still broken. Fridge stopped cooling so I called Elite Appliance Repair to help. They had good reviews, so I thought it was a sure bet. Raymond came out within 24 hours and said the compressor failed. We agreed to replace the part. This is where things go bad. After a week of not hearing an update, I call/text Raymond. He still had not ordered the part: because it an LG appliance, the customer has to give a Letter of Authorization to the repairman to order the part. Okay, no problem, but why did this take a week to happen? A week and a half later, no additional updates. Calls and texts to Raymond. Randomly, on a Monday, he texts me at 12pm asking if I can be home at 1pm for the repair. He gives me an hour notice. "No, I can't, I'm at work." Then radio silence for two days. He obviously has the part, but I don't hear from him again until Wednesday. Again, he asks me to be home with an hour notice. "No, I can't, I'm at work." Another two days go by with radio silence. Finally, on Friday, I call Raymond. He can have a technician come on Saturday, and I saw that works, but only between 1pm-4pm. The appointment is booked, finally. Saturday at 3:30pm comes and goes and no technician. I call Raymond, who says the technician is running behind and will be at my house in an hour. 4:30pm and 5:30pm come and go and no technician. "Fine, this guy is screwing with me, he has no intention of helping me," is what I thought. Then, at 7:30pm on a Saturday evening, his technician finally arrive. I have guests/family over for a birthday party, but fine, the technician is finally here, let's get this over with. At 9pm, they are finally done and leaving. I think "great, this is finally done an over". Next morning, I wake up to verify that the fridge is cooling and fixed. Nope! Friday is still as broken as the day I first called Raymond and Elite Appliance Repair. Thankfully, I didn't pay anything except the $75 initial call fee. Save yourself a lot of time, frustration, and worry and go with another repair company. I have been living without a fridge for nearly a month, because of Raymond and Elite Appliance Repair. I am not sure if I did something to offend Raymond or made a faux pas at some point or he is just awful at his job, but Raymond has terribly communication skills, crew management skills, and I would not trust him to change a light bulb correctly. read more

Our outdoor small refrigerator stopped cooling at the end of last summer. I had Elite Appliances Repair come out to look at it since we are in the season of outdoor living again. Unfortunately, there wasn't a permanent fix for our problem. He said he could temporarily fix it, but it probably wouldn't last long so there wouldn't be a warranty on the work. Raymond, the owner, was great but more importantly to me; he was honest! Our washer broke and when I called he was at our house in McKinney within a few hours (like he said he would be). He could have made a lot more money by telling us he could replace our broken transmission on the washer but instead suggested, because of the age and cost to fix, we get a new washer. I really appreciate honest repair people. It would have been less $$ for us to have Raymond's fix than buying a new washing machine and more $$ in Raymond's pocket if he had sold us on him fixing.
