I've had to bother Jeremy about 3 times in the last month (it's been an unlucky few weeks for us), and I've had a positive experience each time. First, our Samsung washing machine broke. I contacted him and left a message, but he got back to me within a couple of hours. He explained that he charges a $65 initial diagnostic fee, but that fee could go towards the repair of your appliance if you decide to move forward with repair. I thought that was a very reasonable price/policy compared to other companies that I had contacted. He came two days later to check out the washer. He was very friendly and courteous. He got right to work and identified the most likely problem within half an hour. Jeremy was completely honest about pricing and his opinion about getting a new washer. I didn't feel like at all he was trying to convince us to get more service done. Since the cost for fixing the washer was going to be really expensive, we decided to just take a friend's old washer. As luck would have it, our replacement washer also had issues. It was showing an error that usually indicates a faulty temperature sensor (which is a very quick fix). However, when we ourselves opened the back of our washer, we found a lot of confusing wires that weren't supposed to be there. I contacted Jeremy again, and he asked me to send some photos to him. He looked at the photos and called me back to talk about what he thought might be the problem. Again, I was really impressed that he was willing to help me out even though he wasn't necessarily going to be coming out to fix the machine. Then last week, the ice machine in our freezer stopped working, so I called Jeremy one more time. He was able to squeeze us in the next day and fixed the problem for a very reasonable price. My washer had been leaking water for about 2 months. I am no washing machine repair person. I knew a hole was in the hose but I didn't know if there were any other issues as my washing machine was about 18 years old and this was the first time I ever had an issue. I called Jay and told him what I thought it could be. He asked me to take a picture of the serial model and send to him. I did. We set a date/time and he came. He ran some water in the machine and let it drain out and it turns out, it was just the hose. He came with the hose. He charged me $237.00 to fix a hose that took him less than 10 minutes to replace. I thought it was a bit pricey but me being clueless told him to fix it. I later did some further research and come to find out it doesn't cost this much to fix this small issue. I was rooting for this guy but all I can say is I'm disappointed. I had him fix my washer and asked if he can simply replace my dryer vent as well (I had the new hose) since I can't move the washer/dryer myself. He had a helper with him who also told me that Jeremy was the greatest repair man. So Jeremy took one peek behind the washer/dryer and said he couldn't move it because the steam hose to my dryer was stretched out. I offered possible ways around it or other solutions and he dismissed them all. He said it was impossible to do anything about it and I would need to hire someone else. It's just unbelievable how you'd call yourself a professional and not have the problem solving skills to work around this so-called problem. This shouldn't be an impossible task at all, since I had someone who's not an appliance expert move the washer/dryer without any damage recently. Be careful. He is very dishonest. He came to my house to fix the problem that the dishwasher door could not latch on 10/29. During the repair, I asked him the time for warranty, and he said it was 30 days. After his repair, there was no water coming out from my faucet in the kitchen, which was working fine in the morning. I suggested to him that we could find a plumber to check the reason. If it was because the operations in his repair, he should be responsible for the plumber fee; If not, we would pay for that. He directly refused that. One day after, my wife and I found a plumber and fixed the problem. Since the plumber said it was because of my old valve instead of his actions, we did not bother him on the faucet problem. Last saturday, we found out the dishwasher door jumped out of latch during the drying. I sent message to him since it was still in the warranty he mentioned, but I do not get any response until now. Jeremy, the proprietor, answered the phone and had us send him some information about our dryer and set an appointment time for the next day. Fast forward to Saturday, Jeremy let us know he was on his way and arrived quickly within the service window. He began to troubleshoot the dryer issue and quickly found the culprit, a faulty door switch. Our washer was also making a screeching noise on the spin cycle and Jeremy replaced the belt. This gentleman is the real deal. He shared his training background with us. He spent many years working for a major national chain of stores in their repair department.
