The guys here are great. To start i was running a few minutes late, gave them a call and they were very understanding and even made sure i knew how to get to them as their shop is kinda tucked away in an area with a lot of shops. I went to them to get an exterior detail done on the Genesis Coupe i just bought and drove home from California, to get of all the grime and prep it for winter. The price was very reasonable, and they even went a little above and beyond and buffed out a very small paint transfer on my passenger mirror for me as well as adding air to my tires after noticing they were a little low. I sat and waited while they did the detail and they put the tv on and let me go on Netflix to pass the time. Overall my experience here was excellent , the service is great and they are very personable. The detail job they did came out fantastic and the car truly shines. I am sorry to say my experience was not a positive one and I would not recommend any Yelpers to visit this business establishment. To the point: It is one thing if the business cannot restore a car in poor condition to excellent or even good condition, but is a serious and alarming matter when you provide a car in good condition - hoping to get an excellent job done - only to have your car returned in poor condition. To be precise: My car is a 2014 Scion FRS that has been kept in excellent condition. The only reason why I brought it in was to get some spilled Rice Water taken care of and extracted from my carpets. This part of the job was done adequately. Where they really goofed up is in wiping down all the Upholstery and interior of my car: they re-used old and dirty cloths on the inside of my car. This means that dirt, grime, and other filthy from another car was smeared all over the interior of my car. This is both visually noticeable and also physically noticeable. Now, every time I go to drive my baby I am reminded of this business' poor work as I can feel my hands all grimy and greasy. Lastly, as if the aforementioned isn't enough. I paid for an interior detailing and exterior detailing yet when I got my car back home I checked my car's exterior and the rims weren't even wiped down. I'd expect them to be wiped down, and eve pressure washed, especially in the wheel wells were dirt accumulates. This is something that i can do in only two minutes at the self serve car wash but I paid for a service and ended up getting my car much dirtier than if I had never brought it in. read more

Rating 4.5. I am extremely happy with the Headlight restoration work that was done on my car by Elite Auto Factory. They quoted an amount of time the work would take, and cut that by 2/3's so that I could leave their business much earlier than I had thought. My headlights are clear for the first time in 2 years, and I am thrilled. Price was very affordable. I would definitely use them again. The only reason I did not give a perfect score is that their business and waiting area could use some TLC. I know that is not the main importance of this business, but it would help for those who have to wait while their vehicles are being worked on. However, that being said, I'm thrilled with the work they did! read more

I took my Honda Civic in to get painted, the clear coat was stripping off, as is the case with many Hondas. They gave me a great price and had it done within a week. Let's start by saying I am a car detail shops worst nightmare. Ed talked me up to a full detail and I agreed. I am not a fan of other people buffing my car. I just like interior detail jobs. All the time others buff my car I see buff lines and I go home and redo the whole job myself. When I showed up my truck was beautiful. Now I use to, and still love to detail cars so I went over my whole truck. I found a couple minor issues and the guys jumped on it with a smile and took care of it. To be fair a person that is not as nuts as me would of never noticed. My hat is off to elite and there crew. I am so happy I am bringing my show car here and I NEVER let anyone touch that car. So, I buy this Acura TL SHAWD. Coolest car I've ever owned, but the paint is 4 years old and I figure it needs detailing. My friend from Vape City, Jason, tells me he's "got a guy" who does detailing. I've never had a car detailed before. Never had a car I wanted to have detailed, but I love this car, so I headed out to Elite. Hard to find their shop because it's right in the "armpit" of this little car shop jungle in Schaumburg, IL. Edgar and Gerry were there when I brought the car in and had a lot of information to share. Stuff like ceramic coating and other things I'd never heard of. They asked me what (ultimately) I wanted the car to look like and I told them I wanted it to be totally unique from any other TL and that I hated chrome. I'm guessing they had just moved into this place because the shop had little in the way of modern equipment, but they were my friend's "guy" so I had them follow me home and take my Acura back for the transformation. They delivered the car a few days later and it looked nice, but a few issues popped up with the paint and over the weeks to follow, the appearance quality dwindled. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to my friend on my next visit to the vape shop, and he was visibly shaken by the news, so much so that he immediately called Gerry and told him. I work as a manager of a grocery store, and put in crazy hours, so my spare time is extremely limited, and I really don't have time to mess around with things like getting my car fixed. I got a text from Gerry the same afternoon: "Hey Eagle, this is Gerry from Elite Auto Factory. We heard your trim was starting to peel. Let us fix this for you at no cost. Give me a call when you are free". To give you an idea of how my free time works, this text was in May and I returned his text in August! When I brought my Acura back for the show-n-tell (and by the way, I was expecting the kind of arguments I usually get when I try to explain why I'm not pleased with something), Edgar and Gerry owned all the mishaps and even pointed out a few things I hadn't seen. They showed off their new paint booth and paint system they upgraded to and told me all the things they would do to get me back into my happy place. Last night, around 7:30, Gerry and Edgar brought me the most beautiful, shiny, monstered out black Acura you've ever seen in your life! At their own expense, they replaced some of the peeled parts and even put my new license sticker on my plates for me. My "Blacura" is now a one-of-a-kind car, and I couldn't be any happier with the results. I had the windows tinted, as you can see from the photos, and it really looks amazing. The ceramic coating and detailing made it hard to find an angle I could photograph it from because of the sun glaring off the paint and we discovered my "black" paint was actually "black pearl"!! Over the years I have found there are only two kinds of business owners: Those that don't care and those that do. I've gone to many many detail places only to come home and find my self having to touch up all the spots that they missed. I finally found elite auto factory and figured I'd give them a shot. WOW! My car looks like black glass. These guys really are a pro at what they do. Not one spot needed a touch up! I am definitely going to be using them for all of my car detail needs. And the best part is it's all hand done no one is driving you car into a machine. Great job guys! read more

I took my car to have some body work done. All I can say is that the staff are nice and appear to be accommodating. I was told it would take no more than 4 days and it actually took an additional 3 or 4 days. When I finally got it back it back, the car was a mess and not done right. I brought it back in and they did rent another car for me and repaired their mistakes, which only took a day when the rental car was at their expense. This time they did clean up the inside and did a good job. However, the car still had to be brought in once again for another item that needed to be fixed, it was not installed properly. I still have one more item that needs fixing that they didn't complete but I give up with them. The outside paint job looks terrible and it visibly looks like I was in an accident. I have decided to go somewhere else to have their mistakes corrected. They also claimed they would help deal with the insurance company but that never happened, nor do I believe they know how to deal with insurance companies. read more
