I called and spoke to Fred, who gave me some really valuable information on how to proceed with the insurance company. I'm glad I followed his advice, because he was spot on! They submitted the estimate, got the approval from the insurance to complete the work. I dropped it off the next day and they gave me an estimated completion date, and they finished 3 days early! I looked the car over very closely, and I could not tell the repaired part of the car from the rest of the car. This car is a 2024 and has 25K miles on it, so they had to match the "new build" specs. Not to mention there's a lifetime warranty on the work! Fred is a no nonsense kind of guy that tells it like it is. In this day and age, it's a refreshing approach! I can only give 5 stars on this app, but they warrant a couple additional stars for doing a great job, communicating well and being a honest and trustworthy business. I would highly recommend Central Auto Rebuilders to anyone that needs anything from a fender bender repair, to a major repair! Well done, from a thankful, repeat customer!

Everything was put together poorly and had overspray all over the under side of the bed as well. Then I took my car there for another insurance job and they gave me a hard time due to it not being a larger repair. They eventually did it but they were very frustrating to deal with through the entire ordeal. Finally I thought I'd give them one more chance since they're so close to my house. I had another insurance job but I also had a few things I wanted to do out of pocket. They agreed to do the work and even told me to go ahead and have the parts shipped to their business. Once the part was on a truck about to arrive they suddenly refused to do the work. I had a written quote and agreement from one of the owners and they refused to keep their word. At the last minute I had to pay extra money to have the parts shipped to my house and find another body shop that would do the work. Go anywhere else but this place. They have poor customer service and they have poor workmanship.

I have used Riverside Garage for a few things and they have always been fair and honest with me. Most recently I thought I needed new brake pads on my Rav-4, so I dropped it off for the guys to check out. They easily could have told me I needed new pads and sold them to me, I wouldn't know the difference, as I am not a "car person". They told me I still have a ways to go before I need new pads. I really appreciate their honesty. Then they found a nail that had been in my back tire and removed it and plugged it for a very reasonable price! My fiance paid over $500 for the fix and I believe he was beat out of that money. They didn't give back the new brakes that I had already paid for and when their services were complete, they parked my vehicle on the street. This shop has definitely changed from years back.

After installing that one, it worked for about 1 week. I drove here to a Bill and Son Clarence with another ac compressor I purchased along with a AC belt. After looking at my car they noticed my compressor's shield was bent so it could be stopping the clutch from functioning properly. They fixed the shield, installed the new belt and recharged my system and it worked. I was able to send the new compressor back for a full refund. Thanks guys.

There are two classic gas pumps out front and only two car ports off to the side of the shop. You walk inside, the door squeaks, and you find yourself in a little room greeted by wooden bar stools and shelves and counters with happy repair clutter and paperwork. Almost immediately, an unassuming man pops out from the back room to greet you. It is Bill, always on the ball. He most likely will not shake your hand since he has car grease on his, but he'll make you feel welcome just the same. You tell him your car troubles and he'll give you his honest opinions. He gets a pretty decent turn-around with his jobs and is always realistic with his price. His is an honest and trustworthy establishment that gets the job done right.
