I joined Elite in February 2025, and the time I've spent in the gym's boxing classes have been legitimately life-changing. Elite's coaches always create a great workout, and it's been amazing to see how much my fitness has improved over the course of this year. The other gym members are willing to share their knowledge and go slow with you when you're just getting the hang of things, which makes learning feel less intimidating. If you develop a consistent routine at Elite, you're likely to see a lot of the same faces in your classes, which makes it much more approachable and is also a testament to how strong the community is! There are some very dedicated people who work out at Elite, and it's inspiring to see people showing up every day to take care of themselves. Joining Elite is genuinely one of the best things I've done for my physical and mental health. As a facility, it's centrally located in town, which is super convenient. It's always very clean, and there's a huge variety of workout equipment and tools and a boxing ring. Special shoutout to coaches Jarred and Ricky, ass-kicker extrordinaires, and to JB and Oscar, who always make the gym feel like a fun and friendly place to spend some time. Predatory financial arrangements - they do high pressure sales and try to get you to sign a long term contract on your first visit. They claim all crossfit gyms engage in this behavior when clearly that is not true. Avoid. read more

This gym is more for people committed to increasing their overall health through exercising. I don't know if I could recommend this gym because I never attended a class session but I called to inquire about joining only to receive the transparent advice that this gym will only be able to help me out if I train consistently so I ultimately decided not to give them a try even though I love training in boxing and cross fit from my past experience. Hopefully this helps those who are looking for a gym where they can just drop in every now and then but they did recommend Redirect Athletics instead so thank you to Elite Fitness for helping me find an alternative choice. read more

This review is for the CrossFit class. A friend and I dropped in this past weekend while traveling and had an incredible experience. Coach Heather was very welcoming and did a very thorough job of explaining all the movements and making sure we were adequately warmed up for a tough a d sweaty workout. I feel like I was very well prepared and it seemed like the rest of the class was also ready to take the workout on full speed. Coach Heather let us scale the workout to fit the needs of my workout partner and myself which was very nice of her to let us do! Throughout the class everyone was so welcoming and kind to us; we felt as though we had been members there for years. I couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you again! read more

I have been attending this gym for 5 years and it never disappoints. I did boxing for 4 + years and have recently changed over to CrossFit. I. Love. This. Gym. I'm new to Reno and wanted to finally get my act together and get it into a consistent fitness routine. I come only for CrossFit but it's cool that boxing is an option too. Everyone at Elite is super supportive and welcoming, even if you feel like you have no idea wtf you're doing. Both the staff and members are just really great people and they make you actually look forward to suffering through every WOD haha. Can't recommend them enough! read more

I signed up for an ad with these dudes. They throw pressure you into scheduling an appointment like pretty much even if really available. They try to get you in the door as soon as possible so that they can use a predatory tactic and charge your card for you not showing up and then they basically do not work and make money.... I can't attest to the gym in any regard because I never went nor do I ever plan to go after the conversation I had with their sales team, I guess. Do you guys need to figure out a better way of getting people in the door than trying to scan their credit card or get a credit card on file and then tell them you're gonna charge them if they miss an appointment like I understand that it's a business then you reserve a slot and yada yada yada, but you have to understand people have lives in boxing and fitness isn't a number one thing in their lives when the world moves when your gym doesn't. Like I said, I'm sure they have great people training and all that stuff. I have no idea I'm not gonna speak to that in any regard. I would just Hailee recommend to not give them your information until you're 100% sure that you're committed to doing it. They seem to like I said, utilize high pressure sales tactic to get people's cards on file even if they know deep down that they're not gonna have the time to show up or whatever which you know I have to take accountability in some regard because I just have had scheduling conflicts that came up. I work very busy in industry, but I will say that the tactics that they use are kind of predatory and I would highly not recommend giving them your personal information or card number until you actually go in and see what you're getting into because they are very they're like flies and gnats that wont leave you alone. And then like dude called me an essentially had a combative attitude and I was like all right yeah I'm sorry my apologies for missing the appointment. Is there anyway I can schedule something for next week? I didn't even speak to the charger or nothing and he's like absolutely not in a various tone and just came off as very like combative so I guess that's what you get when you combine striking/sales (its almost like they intentionally set it up to where they make money off a conversation with no gym in the world is gonna charge somebody before they ever come in the door! Amazing staff and a super welcoming community. My mom and I were going to the 6am CrossFit classes regularly (she still goes) and we had such a great time. Love the vibe. Boxing classes are notoriously insane and will get you fit fast. You can also do one on one sessions if you're looking to compete in boxing or CrossFit. They are very active in both. I have been doing CF for about two years (though I still consider myself a novice) and was traveling to Reno for a month. I joined Elite for a month but wish I could stay longer just to be at this gym. I have taken CF classes with JB, Sophie, and Ian. They have helped me get better at my movements. JB, who I've taken the most classes with, is an excellent coach. He hones in on your form. Also, I am constantly asking him for feedback and he is happy to help me. He is well spoken and can explain why something is feeling off/weak/weird in a movement. I started taking boxing in addition to CF with Jarrod and Chris as the instructors. Wow! This is not just another conditioning boxing class you have other gyms. These guys have boxed for a long time. They teach you technique and how to move while protecting your face. Of course I took this class to learn something new, not so much self defense but I always learn something new in these classes. It helps me understand my body and where there are areas of improvement. Every instructor is present meaning they aren't on their phones and constantly posting on social media. They encourage people to get along and they do not create clicks. Overall, EVERY person I have talked to at this gym is nice and supportive. The community Elite has built is one of a kind. read more

What a terrific gym... I was visiting a friend, a regular of Elite, and she treated me to workout with personal trainer J.B. This guy is a real master of fitness and conditioning. He devised a 30 minute workout of 5 sets which I THOUGHT looked like a breeze, till I started to dive in. 1st set, full of energy, no problems, you got this, add more challenges, 2nd set, okay I'm feeling it. 3rd set, oh lord, how am I not even half way done, 4th set, almost there, 5th set... I can't feel my face. Here's the kicker, he focused enough on warming up and cooling down that while the next day, I was agonizing my muscles, I did not feel paralyzed :) If you're in the area, you owe yourself a genuine bona fide cross fit experience. read more

Quick response via text message (made things very easy) JB provided the details and even sent me the whiteboard for the class I was attending. Great location, clean, organized and very friendly. Got signed in and paid. Great class, lots of personal attention even though I was the "drop in" and not a regular. Felt very welcomed by staff and other athletes. Would definitely recommend Elite CF to anyone ! read more

I've been attending Elite since February 2022, and I have not regretted joining. From day one, the staff has been helpful and supportive. I have been consistent with working out 5-6 days a week since September 2022, and I have seen the difference in my fitness journey because of the help and the push they give me every time. The coaches take the time to train me. They have the right equipment I need if I want to lift or workout on my own. I enjoy the fun activities they organize. The community is amazing, and I have made great friends. We all push each other and have a great time. You can also take boxing classes. read more

This is by far the best CrossFit gym I've ever been to. I've done trials at three others and was super disappointed, and started to think this type of workout wasn't for me. But this gym just clicked with me. I came for boxing originally, and those classes were amazing too, but I fell for CrossFit! Oliver makes CrossFit so accessible for everyone (love the Lean/scaled versions available for every workout!). He pushes you to work hard and improve, but he doesn't push you blindly into injury as some gyms do by encouraging you to do too much too fast. He's so kind and friendly and really knows his stuff when it comes to form etc. Plus, love the other CrossFitters at this gym. It's a really nice community of cool, supportive people. No one is trying to be over-macho and intimidating like at some gyms (even though there are some total beasts that go here!). Everyone is down to earth, chill, and welcoming. If you've ever considered CrossFit but backed out bc you were intimidated, this is the place for you! You'll be welcomed no matter your experience. And you get 3 free classes to start with, so you can get a feel for it before you sign up. read more

This gym is the greatest place I have ever workout at, people here are very professional and super knowledgeable. I love it

So I try to make it a priority to visit this gym whenever I'm in town. The drop in rate to workout is $15 and it's totally worth it. This gym is HUGE and has all the boxing essentials. Two rings, all types of bags to work on a variety of punches and loaner gear in case you don't have any of your own. But my favorite part about this place is their open gym hours. You can show up, put in your work and no one will bother you, the trainers here are all very friendly and welcoming. I've had the privilege to be assisted by Ashley who I believe is the owner? She's usually the one who checks me in but she's always so welcoming. All in all an excellent gym to get a great boxing workout. read more

I went to the boxing class and had an excellent workout. I work out pretty frequently and was still dying, which I love. Plus, the instructor really helped correct my form during the entire session. I think I learned as much as I sweat. A big plus: Elite provides both wraps and gloves for boxing, where some gyms make you buy/rent them. read more

This place has been great! I have only come to the boxing class 3 times now, but every time is a lot of fun, and always leaves me sweaty and tired. The workout is constantly changing, and I haven't been bored yet. The staff and other class members are very helpful and welcoming to all levels of fitness and skill. I've never taken any boxing classes before this one, and it hasn't been an issue at all. They also offer a kids boxing class, and a crossfit class as well. You can go to as many as you want in a week; although, I doubt you'll have the energy for too many! They also have free weights, a few treadmills, a few bikes, and all the crossfit and boxing equipment during non-class hours, so if you can't make the classes, you can still get in a workout. I'm going to definitely keep coming back, and I know i'll see results if I keep it up :) read more
