The doctors at this facility are very nice but the billing department is one of the worst I have ever had to deal with. They do not answer the phone nor do they return your phone calls. I have been requesting a refund after my insurance covered the procedure at 100% and they will not answer my calls or return them. Very unprofessional and very disappointing experience. I have still not received a call that I had to escalate it to the state and get an advocate. They dropped the ball!! My doctor sent over my referral with my full medial history, medications, notes, etc. The received it and went right to scheduling my colonoscopy and endoscopy, cool! The night before I do the horrible prep drink, don't eat for 24 hours. I show up, pay the $250 deductible, get in my gown freezing my ass off. The anesthesiologist asks me about chest pain I reported to my doctor a while back. I explained it was mild and has not occurred in months as I have lost weight, exercising and eating healthier. She says they cannot put me under without a cardiologists clearance. The doctor came in and said the same thing. They did not review my history and wasted my time! read more

11/16/23-My son had an endoscopy scheduled for 2:30pm and he received a text that to arrive a earlier than the scheduled arrival time, which we did. He paid and while we were waiting I asked if I could be in room with him while he waited and I was shocked to hear that I couldn't be there with him. Granted, my son is 21, but he had a couple of questions for the Dr. Ismail and when the anesthesia wore off, he forgot what Dr. Ismail, who is fantastic, responded. Plenty of parking on the west, south, and east side of the building. Upon arriving today, I checked in my wife for her colonoscopy. Front desk employee was very friendly upon check-in. After only waiting for 3 minutes, my wife was in the pre-op room. 4 minutes later, the nurse came to take her vitals and attached the patient monitoring system to get her vitals. She explained clearly explained the procedure and asked if my wife had any questions. 30 minutes later, the anesthesiologist came in to ask few basic questions, i.e. did you follow the pre-op home instructions, did you drink within 5 hours of the procedure, etc. About 5 minutes later, she was rolled into surgery. The entire procedure only lasted 20 minutes as long as they don't find anything. Fortunately, my wife got a clean bill of health. When my wife woke-up, they offered her water. After the procedure, patients are required to remain in bed for 30 minutes before they are allowed to leave. Before leaving, the nurse explained the results and gives you a copy of the paper work. The nurse wheeled my wife out afterwards and we were on our way home. The entire process took about 2 hours. Over all, we were very satisfied with the staff. They were very transparent and instructions were easy to follow. read more

Dr. Ismail and his team are fantastic! This was my first colonoscopy and they helped talk me through every step of the way and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Ismail is extremely knowledgeable, he was very good at answering all of my questions and he is overall simply superb at his job! The procedure was as quick and easy as everyone says and the music they were playing helped me relax even more. Just as everyone says, the prep is the worst part. It was nice that Dr. Ismail explained to me I had three different options to take for the prep. I just had two procedures at Elite Endoscopy and I have to say the people who work here are awesome! The gal at the front desk who checked me in was very friendly and cheerful! The nurses, Lori and Renee, were very informative and made me feel at ease, not to mention had me in stitches ...no pun intended. . Karen, the anesthesiologist, explained to me what exactly was going to be done and Dr Pacha listened to my questions and assured me. This is the third time I went there. But for sure it is the last time. Dr Ayaaz Ismail is fantastic. Unfortunately his secretary is very rude and useless. The medical team especially before the procedure is not very professionnal; they could show a little psychologie, some empathy, at least be polite... Forget it. My procedure (colon) scheduled at noon was done 2 hours later, without any update, explanation or excuse. During this waiting time nobody came to see me or talk to me. Obviousely nobody cares. I cannot comment on Dr. Weisz's skills because I only met him during a short virtual visit after I had scheduled my colonoscopy and had no other interaction with him because I cancelled my appointment...or tried to! But, the office side of his staff is just awful. I concur with at least one other review, that the phone tree is endless. Plus, I do not believe anyone every answers the phones over there. Every single time I called, I had to leave a message. In response to one call, they texted me to see what I wanted. Not the kind of consideration I expect from a medical facility. After a couple of unanswered calls, I called my provider and asked for another referral, which they sent. On March 12th I called to cancel my appointment with Dr. Weisz (the appointment was for March 24th) so I was well before the 5 day cancellation period. It states on the paperwork, a $300.00 charge will be made if you cancel within 5 days. Immediately after the phone call, I sent an email to confirm the cancellation. In less than an hour I got a return email confirming the cancellation. Between March 12th and the 24th I got 2 more text messages confirming my appointment. After each, I called (and left a message) and emailed that I had cancelled that appointment. No reply to the 2nd email. After the 2nd reminder I called to leave another message and not only did no one answer, but the voice mailbox was full. I send another email to remind them I had cancelled. Today, March 20th, I got a bill in the mail for $300.00. These people are unbelievable. Never ever had this much trouble cancelling anything ... even a subscription. The doctor, anestesia lady and the other staff there were very kind with the exception of Karen. Her name really was Karen. I gave it 4 stars because of the head nurse named Karen. Arriving 30 minutes and trying to call with no answer I was unsure of which door. They have signs all along that building that make it confusing as to where to go. When I tried to inform Karen of this she immediately snapped being argumentative that the signs were not confusing. Once I came in there was another couple outside the door just as confused when I assisted them. They stated that they were confused by the signs as well . This is my second visit where Doctor Weisz used a scope to look at an area that had a tumor had been previously removed. I was so impressed on this second visit from check in to being wheeled out to my car. Every aspect of my procedure went so smoothly I'd highly recommend this group and I personally love the new team. Horrid service they dump you into an end less phone tree circle then hang up. They called to remind me of a procedure and I wasn't given instructions and they said a load of crap and at same time nothing at all and put me on hold for an hour and walked away. Lousiest effin customer service in the world which is a shame considering the dr. Was very good you better shop around ..because of their careless attitude I have to purge my gut ASAP without any instructions which they said I got but never did. Does anybody work or just eat donuts and dump people off the phone????? I hope they get a 600 pound lifer and have to deal with a literal shitstorm for their negligence...any dr try to run his office this way and it would be a malpractice suit overnight . Dr. Ismail is great. His office however is not. Had an issue trying to get my stomach medicine I need so that I'm not in pain every time I eat something. A week after the visit I still don't have my prescription and I when I finally got someone on the phone they promised it would be taken care of they would get back to me ASAP. That never happened and so now I have canceled my up coming appointments and would rather take my chances elsewhere as I'm assuming another doctor will be capable of the simple task of providing my medications necessary for my health and well-being. The receptionist was prompt to greet me and friendly. I was called back quickly so there wasn't a long waiting time. The staff were all professional and nice. They took special care of me b/c I have epilepsy and they had to give me different medicine than typical so I would stay alive during the procedure. I sure did appreciate it! Once I became alert the doctor told me his immediate results and said that the lab results would tell us more. The doctor was especially personable and made me feel comfortable. I had a procedure scheduled that had to be postponed. When I called, I pressed number 1 button to do that, The customer service agent answered, "hello?" What kind of customer service is that? They should identify themselves as part of the business or the dept. Terrible phone people. When I asked to get confirmation of the cancellation so I wouldnt have to pay $300 for cancelling, I asked for email confirmation. I did not receive it so I had to call back to get that. Today when I called, the same, "hello?" I dont know who I am talking with and they expect my personal information!!!!! Rethink your customer service! One other thing, I received a text telling me about my procedure and to confirm, and then a phone call asking me to confirm the procedure which I had cancelled 2 weeks before. Hire a consultant to get your customer service act together. Dr, Weicz may be a good doctor but their phone service and lack of coordination between the 2 areas of customer service is sorely lacking, frustrating to deal with and a waste of my time. I did ALL of this preparation for my sigmoidoscopy, only to be turned away because I didn't have a person I actually KNEW that could give me a ride. Oh BOY was I mad. I told them that NOWHERE in my paperwork does it say I'm REQUIRED to have a family/friend driver. All I had was an uber driver cause I don't know anyone in Nevada! When I asked why, she gave me about a dozen reasons which made zero sense (I argued them all), until she finally settled on the "well an uber driver can't call the paramedics or take you to the hospital if anything goes wrong." Um, first of all, LOL!!!!! Second - I can see this is clearly a liability issue & to protect their own behind, but I don't care because this was NOT STATED IN MY PAPERWORK!! I took off work to come here only to be turned away because they do not accept uber drivers & can't fix their d---- paperwork! My last & most important complaint is with Dr. Weisz & his awful bedside manner. He comes across as impatient, arrogant, & flat out COLD. I felt very rushed from my first apt. I could have explained ALL of my very relevant info regarding my symptoms in a matter of 3 to 4 minutes TOPS, but I guess that's too long for him cause he would interrupt me every 3-5 seconds (trying to rush me & type in his computer) which just made me uneasy & give up completely after 2 minutes. I can understand a doctor trying to verify what I'm saying, YES. But he kept impatiently asking the same questions to which I finally said "if you would let me FINISH I would answer all of your questions!!!" Jeez! Then, when I came in for my biopsy results, he told me I had "very mild gastritis (not caused by h.pylori) so its fine" When I asked him what the next step was to determine the cause (so I can FINALLY get this treated after a YEAR), he said "well there's lots of causes." Um, no s--- sherlock that's why I'm HERE!! SMH. I already did pretty extensive research on gastritis before coming in, (so call me crazy) but I was prepared to get quality care in regard to getting to the underlying root cause so I can treat it. But instead, I got a very careless, disconnected & unconcerned doctor that just made jokes & wasn't taking this as serious as I was. I guess I gave Dr. Weisz waaaay more credit than he deserved?! I couldn't get any info from him regarding testing or any referrals to find the cause, so I then asked about treatment. He recommended I take a prescription antacid to which I replied "so I'm just supposed to take an antacid the rest of my life even though I've told you multiple times I don't take prescription meds???" He just shrugged. O-M-G! Every time I've seen him (3 times total) I told him EACH time I do NOT take prescription meds, & EACH TIME he tries to write me a prescription for something! He tried to put me on Nexium, (a proton pump inhibitor) which can actually make gastritis WORSE! This guy SUCKS! Listen, folks: I do not discredit western medicine, but I find this circumstance I was in (among MANY), a prime example of why I'm leaning toward more functional (holistic) medicine! What kind of doctor doesn't respect your multiple requests to not take meds?? What kind of doctor prescribes a medication when he doesn't even know what your condition is caused by?! And lastly, what kind of doctor doesn't CARE to figure out the underlying cause of your issues??? See what I'm getting at here? Unethical & greedy. Please, do your own research, be your own advocate & don't waste your time with this guy, he is clearly all about SICKCARE (making $$$) and NOT preventative HEALTHCARE! read more

This was my first colonoscopy, and yes, I was terribly nervous. (Everything was fine in the end ).. (LOL) Seriously, from my consultation with Dr. Weisz to the procedure itself, I can't imagine a more professional and caring staff. Lois was great as were the other nurses (Sorry, I forgot your names). The whole procedure took less than an hour and a half (about ten second in sleep time). Hate the prep, but that really IS the worst part. Very efficient. I got there for a 12:15 appt and was prepped and ready to go by 12:30. Thank you to the whole staff at Elite. They were quick in getting me in for the procedure. It was done quickly and my doctor came into the recovery area and let me know the results. I had to wait a long time to go home afterwards. The nurse called the wrong number and the receptionist let my husband sit in the waiting room without letting him know that I was ready to be picked up. The receptionist looked rude. Wasn't very responsive. The restroom is very dirty! I had to wipe the seat down twice before sitting on it. It doesn't seem like they cover the patients very well. So not much privacy.. They didn't have a window to put the pee sample in i had to carry it out and find the medical assistant that was helping me and give it to her.
