Stacy C does a wonderful job coloring my gray roots. From the very first visit she decided to let the color sit a bit longer, as I color it very dark brown and the grays can be stubborn. The Kevin Murphy color does not wash out. The salon is easy to find, plenty of parking, clean and the front portion is a neat boutique, called The Vibe, which has a lot of unique items made by local artists. I was in an out in under 90 minutes, which included a blow dry as well as the root color. $110 is very reasonable, and you can pay with credit card. I tip with cash though. It is very convenient to book online, the app is intuitive and reminders are sent prior to the appointment. This was my first time coming to Elite and I was instantly amazed by the fun and aesthetic atmosphere. The Vibe Boutique at the front of the store has so many great items, especially gifts for friends and family. I scheduled a last-minute style appointment and Karen was luckily able to squeeze me in. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. She did my hair wonderfully and went above and beyond with making sure everything was the way I wanted. The price was definitely more expensive than expected for a style cut, however, I had no problem paying the price because my experience was so great. My hair looks awesome! BEWARE SENIOR CITIZENS !!! I have been a customer of The Elite Hair Salon for years. Just recently i went in to have my hair colored' I was very unhappy with the rudeness i received while in the chair. I brought a picture of what i wanted done and all i received was total disrespect from the hairdresser. I was charged $352.00 dollars for something that i didn't ask for. I called them and they rescheduled me for another appointment. I showed up and met with a very rude receptionist who told me that my appointment was cancelled. I am now out the $352.00 dollars and a completely gross hair color that now i have to live with. I started going to Elite a couple years ago, & love it. The salon is always clean, & inviting, & everyone's extra friendly. Christa was the first stylist to cut more than a few inches off my hair, & I've never loved my cut more! Scheduling an appointment is super easy online, & text message appointment reminders are excellent. You can hit up The Vibe for a little retail therapy while you wait too. I chose Elite Hair and Day Spa to do my wedding hair and to help with all of my wedding party. The staff at Elite were so much fun to work with and they all did an awesome job with our hair. Lois was always available to me through email and was very reassuring and helpful in establishing my morning timeline. Darcy was great on the morning of my wedding, having coffee, donuts, and mimosas there for us when we got there. All of the stylists were incredible. I know it was rough that we all had to be up so early but they worked fast and got us out 30 minutes earlier than scheduled! I went here to get a balayage done as it was one of the best rated places on Yelp when you search for this technique. I don't know if they placed me with their most inexperienced balayage stylist or what, but the work done on my hair was absolutely terrible. I have never gone home and cried after a change to my hair before this. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted and the stylist seemed excited and acted like she had the perfect plan. I watched as she painted my entire head and did not ask any questions. I did not think I needed to question her technique because I was not the balayage expert, but now I believe I should had just immediately stopped her. She bleached pretty much my ENTIRE head to the ugliest brassy yellow color. I went from my beautiful, healthy brown hair to dry and breaking blonde all over. The balayage I asked for was a nice deep brown fading to a platinum blonde. I was aware that I could not get to platinum blonde in one session, but this lady straight up just made me completely blonde and disregarded any kind of balayage technique. When she finished and saw I looked like I was about to cry she attempted to paint the faintest, sloppiest shadow root. It looked awful. I paid $250 for hair I did not even want (the stylist even told me she took money off because I did not get what I wanted!) I can only imagine how much they were going to charge me for this mess before I spoke up. I wish I had not even paid because it is actual BS that I paid so much money for such a terrible service. I went to a stylist a couple of days later and she literally laughed at how bad of a job was done. I have pictures upon pictures of my hair and how terribly she did certain areas of it. She also ended up leaving horizontal lines in the blonde from where she was sloppily painting the shadow root. DO NOT go here for a balayage and take your money elsewhere. Might I also add I got my eyebrows done at this place as well and I went home and they did not even look done. I cannot believe I went to a place expecting professional service and I could not even get my eyebrows done properly. I feel taken advantage of and embarrassed of the quality presented by this establishment. read more

I first started getting my haircuts and color from Sara a few months ago, and while there are several talented stylists and colorists at Elite, I'll never switch. She has the type of personality that's part-therapist, like an instant friend -- a great quality in a stylist. Plus, the haircuts she gives me are some of the best I've had in years. They're well-designed to keep me in good hair days for weeks and weeks with minimal styling. Prices are very reasonable. I pay $114 for a haircut, single-process color, and face-framing highlights, plus tip. Totally worth every penny. read more

I used Elite Salon and Day Spa for bridal hair and makeup services for myself, my Matrons of Honor/ Bridesmaids, and my mother. Elite was FANTASTIC. Not being from the Westford area, I was a bit neurotic about choosing a salon that I could trust for day-of-wedding bridal services. But, after reading some reviews on Yelp and on some of my trusted wedding planning websites, I called Elite. Lois explained everything to me as far as pricing and as we spoke, I could tell she was already working out a schedule in her head as far as the number of appointments, what each girl would be getting done, while keeping in mind my needs as far as when I wanted us to be out the door, on our way to the venue. My first conversation with Lois lasted about 45 minutes or so, but it was a great over-the-phone consultation and made me feel confident in booking with Elite. I did find that it worked out better to plan a specific time to call Elite to speak to Lois as we played a nice game of phone tag before finally connecting. On the day of the wedding, the ladies at the salon were more than willing to come in early to accommodate my 10:30am ceremony time and not only that, but they provided us with mimosas, tea, coffee, and some breakfast snacks to get our day going - one less thing that myself and/ or my bridal party had to worry about during the days leading up to my wedding! The stylists did such a fantastic job on our hair and makeup - we all looked gorgeous with flawless hair and not overly done makeup. The woman who did our makeup , Donna, was fantastic and took her time with each of us - you could tell she was very perfectionistic about the makeup and I really appreciated her attention to detail and angles and such! If you are getting married in the Westford/ Groton area, the women at Elite do such a fantastic job with bridal style. You will not be disappointed! Just be sure to bring cash since you cannot add tip to a credit/ debit card! read more

Wow! You want your eyebrows transformed into perfection? Go see Donna at Elite! She listens to what I want and provides consultation. Awesome experience and lavender oil to top it off! It's a little pricey at $24 for an eyebrow wax. it's a definite splurge for me but if I could afford it I would go every two weeks! read more

Came to this gem before my wedding at Gibbet Hill. I was super nervous about coming to a new place for my big day, but these gals know their stuff. Lois couldn't have been a kinder, most accomodating owner--she even went so far as to supply gluten free snacks for my bridespeople and me! Elite Hair Design is the place to go if you need your hair, nails, or waxing done. I have been going here for several years and drive over a half hour to get there. The staff is all extremely nice and friendly. When you go they help you with whatever you need and you will always be taken in on time. I personally go to get waxed and Donna is amazing.
