I went here for an eyebrow and lash tint, as well as a haircut. It was a very high-level experience! I enjoyed their attention to detail. The eyebrow and lash tint didn't do much for me, but the eyebrow shaping was done very well. The tint was pilling almost immediately after I left (as seen in the pics taken when I got into my car, still in their parking lot) and the lash tint faded after a few days. It looked nice, but didn't last long and for the price I was expecting it to last at least a few weeks. I wouldn't go back for the tinting, but I will be coming back for the shaping and waxing. The haircut was a overall good experience - they did a head massage during the shampoo process and it was amazing! She followed my instructions/request for the most part. At first, she cut the exact length that I wanted. But then when she started measuring the sides of my head against each other she realized they did not match up and cut more. She did cut off about half an inch more than I liked, but said I needed the cut, and since I was already cutting about 5", it definitely showed. My hair grows fast so it wasn't a big deal, but just be aware if you are someone who only wants the exact length cut. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this salon! I absolutely love this place. I've been coming here for about 3-4 years now. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming inside. You'll want to relax with a hot tea while you're doing your hair. My transformation of hair has been a journey. I've been slowly going blonde for the purpose of not super damaging my hair. If anyone says you can't be a healthy blonde, you're wrong. Do you want no fried-ends and not melted hair? Then ask for Ali or Sylvia. Both are professional in color and bleaching. The results are well worth the process and expense. Today I went in to see Ali for a partial balayage, toner, hair treatment, and cut. Yes I was here all day long from 12pm to 4:20pm and it's worth every minute. I recommend the biotin hair treatment it will moisturizer and make your hair so shiny and smooth. The best part is taking home applicators to apply the treatments at home to keep up the health. My experience with Ali was sensational to say the least. This was my first time coloring my hair, and thus I was a little nervous and did not know what to expect. However, from the start Ali made me feel at ease with his kindness, transparency, and professionalism. He made sure that I was informed about the process, certified he understood exactly my desired outcome, showed me a catalogue of color options, and broke down the cost for the treatment, all of which made me feel very comfortable and gave me a sense of trust. One knows an expert when they encounter one, and Ali struck me as exactly that before I even knew he has been doing this for 20 years! My hair is dark brown, thick, and long, so we knew the process would be long and laborious. I asked him for blonde highlights and ombre look, so we did a strand test before to make sure my hair would lift well, which it did. He proceeded to spend more than two hours patiently applying foils on very fine strands of hair, which was to ensure the result would be well blended and natural-looking. I greatly appreciated the fact that he not once rushed through it. You could tell he's a perfectionist, which is exactly what one wants from a colorist. Between bleaching, washes, toner, cut and styling he spent a total of 6 hours on my hair, and the result was perfection. In addition to his sensational work, his personality and temperament were things that stood out to me. He was very patient, attentive, and fun to talk to. Elite is very lucky to have him, and I will use him for my future salon sessions. You must make an appointment during this time. Arrive a few minutes early. Call from your car. They will call you back when they are ready. You step in. Have your temp taken and sign a waiver You are then guided to the restroom to wash your hands. I have never left a negative review before this one. I am very disappointed with my experience at Elite Salon this weekend. I had an appointment for a toner with Tricia. My hair had some lighter golden pieces that I wanted to tone and blend with the rest of my hair that was medium brown. I explained that I did not want my natural hair to be any darker and still wanted some dimension from those lighter pieces. Tricia assured me that it would be a neutral brown and couldn't possibly get darker than my natural color since she would be using toner the same shade. She applied the toner and had one of the assistants finish the rest so she could start on another client. The toner sat on my hair for about 50 min (from start of application to finish), which was far too long. By this time, my appointment already was running 40 min over into the blowout appointment I had booked afterwards, so I ended up having to pass on a full blowout. Tricia dried my hair enough to see the color and right away I knew I hated it. She blamed the dark color on "bad lighting" and it would look the way I wanted in natural light. I let her finish drying my hair and moved to other lighting and it was still incredibly dark, borderline black, with no dimension like I had requested earlier. I told Tricia that I really did not like it that dark. My natural hair is several shades lighter than it turned out. Her only response was "well the good thing with toner is that it will fade in 2-3 months". She gave no option on how to fix it and it this point I was so upset and just wanted to leave. Tricia brought me over to the front desk and told the receptionist that my total was $160. I was shocked! I let them know that when I booked my appointment online the price listed for a toner was $50. Yes, my hair is longer than most clients and I would expect a slight increase to cover the extra products used, but $110 more is just not reasonable... especially for a service that she knew I was not happy with. I paid the $160 total and still left a tip. I am very upset with not only the finished product, but also the dishonest pricing. As soon as I got home, I sent an email expressing my disappointment and never received a response. read more

I needed a haircut and requested it 3 hours before the appointment time. Luckily, I was matched with Dora. She listened to my haircut checklist and continued to ensure I was happy with the way the haircut was going throughout the process. She used quality products on my hair, including Oribe brand products. I loved my haircut and will be returning! Overall, the salon is nice and clean, reminiscent of a New York City location, but bigger and there's free parking available. The hostess was also super nice and welcoming. She is gentle with my hair (my hair is week due to an auto immune disease). She gives my hair so much life! They also took great Covid precautions. They saw I had my own mask and offered a disposable one so mine doesn't accidentally get dirty. The mask they gave me was wrapped beautifully in a mesh bag. Wonderful touch. 10/10 always for me. I LOVE coming to Elite Hair Studio & Spa. I have gotten multiple different services done here and each time, they have been great. Hair Service: I've been here twice for blow outs and curls added for a wedding and my baby shower. Each time, the stylist took her time to make sure my hair looked great. I always get my services done early in the morning due to the events being later in the day, but the style lasted the entire day and looked great until the night was over. Manicure/Pedicure: Can I tell you how awesome and relaxing these services are. I've been to so many salons that rush you through the process just so they can get more clients in and out the door. But at Elite, they take their time and definitely pamper you! Eyebrows/Henna: As a blonde-haired woman with blonde eyebrows, I love getting the henna done. I used to be a client who came relatively religiously. After returning after a year long hiatus, I was expecting a great experience because that's what I was accustomed to from this salon. On the contrary, my experience was everything but that. I had the displeasure of being serviced by Hanna. She was extremely pushy about adding extra services such as a Keratin treatment because my hair is "difficult to manage," according to Hanna. When I got in the chair after the wash, she kept insisting she cut my hair because it would make the blowout "better."I declined every suggestion yet she continued to push it on me. When she finished blow drying it initially, I suggested she flat iron my hair because of how frizzy and poorly done my blowout was done. I was disappointed with my hair but I was so uncomfortable that I paid, including an extra $15 that was added because she had to flat iron my hair. No flat iron would have been necessary, had she simply known how to work on my hair type. I let the receptionist know I was unhappy, which only resulted in the $15 being refunded. Throughout the entire service, I felt as though I was met with backhanded compliments such as her saying that, "my hair has a difficult texture." I have a 3A hair type, as a reference. As a hair stylist, you should be capable of doing any hair type/texture. Despite the many good reviews, the salon is NOT the same anymore; they need to hire better stylists and improve the way they deal with situations like this. It was absolutely disgusting and disheartening to have been treated the way I was. The owner did offer me a redo of this service and while this stylist did do significantly better, I think that this information should still be public. read more

I'm not sure if I'll be able to adequately describe how great this salon has been for me. This is a long overdue positive review for this hair salon. I have been using them as my hairdresser and nail salon for quite some time. They really put a lot of thought into everything they offer here. The hairdressers and nail technicians are great, and the customer service in the front is top notch. I feel that I can be a bit demanding when it comes to things like scheduling: for nails, my husband usually comes with me to have his nails done too which means I always have to schedule two appointments at the same time that fit with our schedules. They also try to make sure that I stay scheduled with my preferred nail tech, Cecelia (although Lorena is also great). The ladies in the front, especially Magdalena, have no issue juggling my preferences without any complaints. For hair, I have had some of the other hairdressers but have spent the most time with Joanna. What I like about this place is that the hairdressers are all pretty great. While I have stuck with Joanna for quite some time and have been happy with my cuts from her, I know that if need be for any reason that I have other talented stylists that can work with my hair for any color or cutting needs. Joanna is really great to work with and is super knowledgeable about all things hair. For manicures and pedicures, they offer regular, gel, and dipping powder options. I've had their regular as well as spa services and it's been well worth it. The stations and equipment used are all clean and sanitized, and they are taking a lot of precautions during the pandemic to ensure the safety of customers as well as staff. Having been a regular for a little while, I've had experiences there where things haven't exactly gone great - either due to things like a really late start with an appointment or something else. These things have been rare but when you are a regular client for any service, they are bound to happen. But what is even better about this salon is that they have been great about addressing all concerns by means such as cutting a break/discount of services, or even just acknowledging that things were not up to their standard. These are things that have been done without me even having to mention or ask for them. I really couldn't ask for more from a business and hope they continue to do well even during these challenging times in 2020. read more
