My fiancé and I are retired. We had a new HVAC system installed on 1/19/22. On the day the new HVAC was installed, Tim gave us his work that he would be available 24/7 for any of our service needs. On 9/28/22, we called Tim at Elite HVAC (who installed our system) and left a message asking Tim to call us to set up an appointment for a checkup in order to keep our service warranty active. We were ignored for 3 days. Then on Saturday, 10/1/22, Tim texted asking which day would work? We replied "Wednesday looks good, what time?" Tim didn't reply. So, Tuesday, 10/4/22 afternoon, we texted him to see if he was still coming the next day, and if so, what time. We had no reply from Tim until 7:53 PM Wednesday night (10/5/22), asking our availability for Thursday, 10/6/22. We replied "please call us". He replied "Watching a movie with family I can come by tomorrow or Friday". We replied tomorrow will work, please CALL with the time. The following morning Tim texted "will 2 to 4 work". We replied yes, please let us know when you on the way. At 4:11, Tim texted "On my way". A 5:25 we texted "How far away are you?" Tim replied "Will text you on the way". At 5:41, we texted back "Eating dinner now do tomorrow this is getting out of control, CALL". After a brief phone call to us, with us angry and telling him not to come, he texted "I don't understand at all!" He was oblivious to how much he inconvenienced us by wasting our time for 2 days. To summarize, we were left hanging a total of 8 days. He failed to be available 24/7 as he had promised at installation. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for Tim's quick response, professionalism and kindness when my furnace recently stopped working. On a Thursday night, at almost 10:00 pm, which was the 2nd time that week my heat went out and Tim came to get it working again, we finally determined I needed a new furnace - as Tim said a band-aid would be throwing good money after bad. Knowing how cold it was going to get, Tim came the following day to install the new furnace. He arrived about 5:45pm by himself and told me his guys were exhausted, so he was going to do the install by himself, which he did. That speaks volumes - he didn't want me to be without heat (which we both knew my old furnace was likely going to stop working again over the weekend), but he also wanted to make sure his employees were able to rest. He gave up his Friday night to make sure I had heat and I'm so appreciative. Tim's prices are always reasonable and he will be my go-to HVAC guy as long as I live in Georgia. read more

My family is extremely grateful for Tim. He came to our rescue yesterday evening. We are a household of 6. One is my 84 yr old grandmother. My husband installed a digital thermostat so that she would be able to see the temperature better. The wrong one was purchased and installed. Once we figured out the issue we ordered the correct one. I observed Tim at a neighbors house shortly after my A/C unit stopped working. I told him the issues our unit was having and he knew exactly what the problem was. He said "I'll be over in a minute". Quick note about Tim...He is the most honest and straightforward guy in this industry I have ever dealt with. Tim and Elite Heating and Air did a small job converting some flex to hard ducts in a section of our house. We shopped that quote to three local HVAC companies and I received Elite's quote within 24 hours and it was reasonably priced. They did a great job with the work and left a very clean work-space. Now the FIVE STAR stuff...Tim comes out on 7/3 when my upstairs HVAC stops working late in the afternoon. Gets me in on same day. Capacitor is shot, simple fix, but the part is an uncommonly large size. Calls a bunch of people, can't get the part Thursday afternoon. Who is at my house at 10AM on Independence Day but Tim with the proper part. Tim didn't charge me anything extra for the extraordinary service. I don't write reviews very often but I understand their power and influence to consumers...heck I am one of them...and that is why Tim's commitment to his clients and honesty demand that I officially recommend Tim and Elite Heating and Air online. read more

SAVED ME $2,600 - HONEST. Another A/C guy said I needed a new A/C unit and it would cost $2,800 (for a mobile home). I was REFERRED to this A/C guy by a plumber I trust. I called Tim, who came out the same day, and said you need to spend ABOUT $100. He did the work the same day and the bill was $190. I tried to pay HIM MORE and he would not accept more money!! This guy is SO HONEST I joined Yelp and Kudzu JUST to write reviews on him. ENJOY his service!!!! He was nice too, and accepted a credit card over the phone and emailed a receipt.
