During the last cold spell, our furnace was making a strange noise. I was convinced it was a bad bearing on the blower. The blower itself. I called at about 6:45 AM and left a message and my call was returned before 8 AM the same day. They had a service man there by 9:15AM and after he had a chance to inspect it, it turned out to be loose. Return vents. They charge me less than most HVAC trip charges and could've easily sold me a new blower. They are my go to person for HVAC. read more

I'm torn writing a stellar review for them. Not because they don't deserve it but I want to keep them as a secret so I can always get service :) They were recommended to me 18 months ago when buying my home. Mike did a solid inspection and has been maintaining my AC units 2x a year since. I will need new units at some point and Tim and Kim will be getting my call. I want to start by saying: I have NEVER written a review before. The experience I had with TR Martin was so exceptional I decided it was time to start. My boyfriend and I recently purchased our first home in Cumming and needed help figuring out what was wrong with the AC unit. Kim and Tim were great (understatement) to work with. They spent long periods of time on the phone with me - helping me troubleshoot as much as I could on my own. Once I realized there was nothing I could do to fix the issue, they came out promptly and diagnosed the situation. We ended up buying a new unit from them, which they installed the same day. The price to fix the unit (which was very old) seemed like a waste. Tim and Kim were great at letting me know all of the options and gave us a fair and square deal. I feel very grateful that their are still business owners as ethical and wonderful as them in the world, let alone the town I will be moving to. read more

I did not end up using Todd, but only because he was booked up and it's hot! All I can say is to just call the man if you have any Hvac needs. He is very honest and has no problems telling you exactly what he can and cannot do. He had zero problems discussing his pricing and really seemed to have nothing to hide! Called TR Martin yesterday, based on their reviews. I spoke with Kim and she was fantastic. I needed to schedule a service Tech to come evaluate our issue, but understood that a good company stays busy. So, I was prepared for a delay. They scheduled a service appointment a few days out, but said they would contact me if they had any cancellations. Sure enough, I got a call a few hours later and they had a Tech come out the same day. Shane came to the house, evaluated the situation, and found that we had a Freon leak from created by the original installers. He got it all fixed up, filled, and had our home at a comfortable 72°F in no time. This company and their staff are awesome! read more

For the last two years, T.R. Martin has been doing an annual HVAC service for me. They've always been prompt, courteous, and educational. On Monday, my downstairs AC didn't seem to be working. I called TRM and they were able to stop by and check my unit that very morning. Owner Tim spotted my problem quickly, changed out the part, and we were fully operational. My experience with Tim was horrible. I would not recommend this company! We bought a home in which Tim had installed a brand new AC unit only 2yrs ago. The previous owners gave us his phone number when the our home warranty insurance refused to fix the repair. The unit and parts are still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Why would a brand new unit less than 3 years old have issues??? It was installed improperly. And the wrong size coil was used. There were leaks at the indoor coil and the outdoor unit at the field unit. When I called to inquire about it, the receptionist (very nice and helpful) was familiar with my property. I explained the issue and she said that she would let him know. Well Tim never called me back. 2 days later, I called again. He called me back finally at the end of 3 days. He told me that he had fixed it correctly....Apparently NOT if we had three people come out and say the same thing. 2 refused to work on it. In fact Tim went on to say that he had installed a brand new unit as a courtesy because they had so many issues previously...The "courtesy" unit that Tim installed is a Goodman 410a. After further research, I am discovering that the unit Goodman 410a has tons of consumer report issues! Do not ever let Tim or anyone else install a Goodman 410a. They SUCK!!! Basically, Tim wouldn't return my calls, have the decency to come look at the unit and stand behind his work (which seems crappy if its less than 3 years and experiencing leaks). By the way, the downstairs AC unit, that came when the house was built (1996) No issues but the new one less than 3 years old we have spent over $1500 and we have only been in our house 6 months...Save yourself the headache and money, go with a company that stands by their work! read more
