I am an 82 year old woman that lives on a fixed SS income and some savings, lived in my home in south Carlsbad for 12 years. The home was built in 1986 and the interior has never be updated. The walls had cloth wall paper that collected dust and eventually discolored. The linoleum on the floors was faded. The cabinets were small, few and the varnish worn off. The living room and kitchen were separated by a wall that had a stove, micro and fridge on one side and nothing on the other. The living area was dark and dingy with old carpet and one wall to put a sofa. The most poorly designed home I have ever lived in. Due to my getting older and the physical limitations it brings regarding bending over to look into cupboards and having to reach high to get a glass and so on, I decided to use some of my limited savings to make the home more functional, and finally have the dream home I have always wanted. I had been telling my family about my light,bright sunny dream home with tons of storage and work space, with a beachy modern look including a chefs kitchen. I looked online for a company that would give me a free estimate and ideas on how to achieve my dream home. After a few disappointing consultations that lacked the vision, expertise and budget concerns, I saw an ad for Elite Living Remodeling Inc. and called them to make an appointment for the next day. The meeting with Eli, the owner of Elite Living Remodeling Inc, was a complete success and breathe of fresh air compared to previous meetings with designers/contractors. Eli's first suggestion was to remove the existing wall between the kitchen and living room for an open-concept design that would utilize the 25 foot vaulted ceiling being covered by a facade box ceiling the florescent lights were housed in and place a beautiful big 8' by 3 foot quartz island w/ large sink as the center piece of the room, a gas range to replace the electric stove placed against the outside walls with double French door refrigerator framed in with large pantry cabinets and a large under-window accessory counter-top. Eli truly understands architecture design and the needs and wants of the homeowner. The floor-plan and work to be done would include laminate flooring throughout, replacing the old carpet and tiles. Install a gas line for my gas range/oven, replace the bookshelves with storage cabinets, overhead lighting, French doors to replace the old sliding door to patio and paint the walls a light grey with a dark blue-grey accent wall and paint the ceiling white with recessed LED lighting above the counters in the kitchen. The reno would include matching quartz slabs to cover the brick fireplace hearth. Eli suggested running the flooring into the hallway and painting the hallway a light grey with white 3" baseboard framing all the rooms. I explained that I had a limited budget and would be using some of my nest-egg. His price was well below what I expected and the timeline was 4 to 5 weeks. I said "where do I sign" Work began the next day at 8am with a demo crew of very nice and courteous workers headed by contractor Fabian and his two helpers Raul and Raul, coordinated and led by the project managers, Sar and Eli. They worked fast, cleaned up every day before leaving and completed the project in 5 weeks with results beyond my imagination. I now live in the home of my dreams, with a functional beautiful kitchen all thanks to Eli and his crew from Elite Living Remodeling Inc. The work was so good and under budget that I had them return a week later to reno my master suite with new flooring, paint and French doors to open up the bedroom. Elite living was hired to remodel 2 bathrooms - almost full gut jobs. Take out tub/shower/toilet. Replace with walk-in showers, new floor, tile, counters, 1 vanity, 1 new toilet, new fixtures. Plus run new piping through an exterior wall for a new outdoor shower. Excellent. I've been through remodels before, easily my top company, and will absolutely use them again. They did well everything they were hired to do. What they did well that I DIDN'T expect: 1. Responsive. About half the time I called, I got Eli (head GC). If I left a message or a text, response within hours. Every time I called the office, I got someone. 2. No wasted time. Someone was there every day, and they inquired about Saturdays to move things along. 3. Attention to detail: The craftsman actually DOING the work made a point to do a good job. If it slowed things down, so be it. Literally the only reason I'm OK with a delay is "its taking longer to get this right than expected". 4. Final punchlist: No argument, no BS. I had a punchlist, I shared it, they did it. 5. No discrimination: At no time was there any issue with me, the woman of the household, identifying the scope of work, negotiating the contract, and being the main Point of Contact. I think the guys on the job finally met my husband about halfway through. I only mention this because I have run into this before with other contractors- I've had the "will your husband be there? We can only quote if BOTH of you are there" thing before. Were there issues? Of course. You never know until you open that wall. - I was on site and able to make decisions when problems arose. - I WOULD recommend a detailed drawing of the expected finished product - where is the toilet, what is the tile design, etc. and keep a copy. Keep several. Post them on walls..... - Always add 25% extra time. I expected that for the unexpected, and unexpected stuff happened. No plan ever survives contact with reality. Overall - fantastic experience, the bathrooms are GREAT, and they are my go-to construction guys in SD. read more

I just recently finished getting my mothers home remodeled! It turned out amazing and I'm so glad I found this company! When we began looking at design options and contractors , Elite Living Remodeling was recommended by a friend to our family. Once we had made the decision to proceed, we choose Elite Living Remodeling as our contractor. This proved to be a great choice! Eli came out to the home to look at the space and take measurements and discuss our ideas. We were very impressed with his knowledge so we decided to have a second appointment in their showroom. A few months ago, my wife and I decided to have our Kitchen and 2 Bathrooms remodeled in our new home in Rancho Sante Fe. Since neither of us have ever had any experience in any sort of remodel or home improvement, we decided to search out a contractor using google, houz, and a few others - using their reviews to help us narrow down some good companies. The Elite living remodeling team did a fantastic job on our remodel. They converted our 3 bedroom 2 bath house into a 4 bedroom 3 bath with a master suite The bathroom off of the master was small with a shower and we really wanted an en suite. Eli came to the house the same day we called, asked what we envisioned for the space and had a bid for us a few days later. Eli and his team were extremely courteous and attentive to detail, providing guidance on potential improvements based on their years of experience, including going to the home improvement store with us and helping choose the best products for the projects. They arrived on time every day , even on the weekend, and always stayed until at least 5 oclock, making sure to clean up before they left for the evening. We have small children and a dog and Eli's team took extra care to ensure the doors remained closed and locked while they worked, even when they had to go in and out for supplies. They did such a great job with the suite, we asked them to convert part of the master bedroom space back into a 4th guest bedroom. We asked if they could get it done within ten days as we had guests coming. Eli had a quote over to me within the hour and his guys started the very next day. We can't recommend this company enough. We just completed a project with Elite living Remodeling. We love it !!! We were very apprehensive about this size project. We met with the Elite team and they made us feel very comfortable. They were up front and honest! Elite living has done an exceptional job with my kitchen At the first visit, the Elite team came in with a designer/project manager and the main contractor. They had estimates ready in just a couple of days. I had to hold off until the last minute to hire them, but when I did, they came in full force. They completed our entire kitchen remodel , lighting, ceiling lift , cable/internet runs, paint throughout, in only 4 weeks! Along the way, the owner and the foreman kept in close contact on progress and changes. We added a lot to the scope during the construction process, and the job still got done in a timely manner. The company was very open and honest about which changes would really make a difference in the project and which were not worth the money. We saw progress almost every day in the work, and the construction guys were clean (no trash laying around!) and professional. They worked hard and were extremely efficient. I have been looking for a remodeling company to work with for a long time. I eventually chose elite living because their customer service was by far the best and their online reputation and Yelp reviews seemed promising. And indeed, our contractor Victor was absolutely outstanding! A young, energetic guy, so knowledgeable and professional, I have never worked with a contractor that was so upfront, always showed up on time and made follow up calls precisely as scheduled. Antonia from the production forgot nothing!!! She constantly showed attention to the smallest details and always kept us in the loop. Having dealt with flaky contractors in the past, it was great to know that she cared how we felt every step of the way. Victor's estimate was well-detailed. I understood exactly how much we were being charged, There was no confusion and it was very affordable. I appreciated that he was willing to make suggestions for cheaper options, since we were on somewhat of a tighter budget. Victor put in great effort to find the best cost effective solutions for our home without sacrificing style or quality. We are so happy with the final results, our bathroom is looking amazing. Victor and Fabian saved us from a NIGHTMARE remodel gone (even more) wrong. We previously had a contractor in to remodel 3 bathrooms, and add overhead (canned) lighting to 3 bedrooms. After 4+ months, we had enough and had to fire that contractor. With a terrible taste in our mouth and a third complete project, we started looking for a new contractor. We interviewed 4 different companies, and Victor was the clear winner with his extremely detailed proposal and fair price. After reading his proposal, there were no questions on what was going to be accomplished. He was also the only person we talked to that had actual solutions to our problems, not "we'll figure it out when we get to that point". Fabian was the foreman on our project, him and his crew did an absolutely amazing job. Their attention to detail can be seen in every area that they work. They showed up early every day, and they cleaned up before they left for the day. They asked us questions where appropriate and simply took care of the project as if it were their own home. We couldn't be happier with the work that Victor and Fabian put into our house. They turned our nightmare remodel into a dream home, and we cannot thank them enough! My husband and I wanted to add living space to our living room. I found Elite Living online and red their reviews. I was impressed of the informations. Elite Living has it's in-house engineering and architectural department which helped us to obtain the blue print and the permit for the construction. Our project manager Jason communicated through-out the planning process and did such a great job keeping us updated on the progress. I'm very excited to get our project started. Our project is now completed and I can't tell how wonderful it has turned out to be. I wanted the wall moved out to give 385 sq. ft. of extra living space. Everything I envisioned from the day we started the planning process and by the end of the completion the results were higher than my expectations. My neighbors watched the progress and are awaiting to come over to experience the completed addition that has completely change my living room, with a bay window looking out into the patio/back yard. Jason, the project manger, communicated throughout the entire project on the daily duties, worked closely with his foremen to insure great workmanship, quality assurance and he takes a lot of pictures for documentary. 1/15/2016 Elite living is the real deal. From the planning stage to the final details they are professional and caring. We hired them to put new hardwood flooring throughout our house, we also had them remodel our kitchen . Eli is a true professional and perfectionist with getting the details done right the first time around. Carlos who does a lot of the hands-on work is a hard worker and very capable. Each worker is expected (and does) clean up the job-site at the end of each day and respects that this is our home, not just a work-site. ELITE does not ask for money (other than a down payment) until each phase of the work is completed. Colleen, their office manager, does a wonderful job staying in touch and keeping track of payments made and due. We've never been through a kitchen renovation before, we didn't know what to expect. I kept ignoring this place because I just assumed that it would be out of my price range. Then, someone suggested I talk to them about countertops. I was totally surprised by the fact that they had affordable options for cabinets, too. We didn't have much of a budget, but we found both cabinets and countertops that not only look great but are a huge upgrade in quality over what we had previously at a really affordable price. A couple of key highlights - I asked a LOT of questions and asked for pricing on several different configurations. They were great at answering my questions and working up several different prices. Never felt like they were getting annoyed. - Never got up-sold on anything. Eli even suggested we go with the less expensive option of cabinets based on how he felt we would like them and the fact we have two young kids. - Showed up when they said they would - Took care of every detail needed - I have no doubt that if an issue arises, they will stand behind their work and get it fixed to the best of their ability. - I worked primarily with Eli (super nice guy) but all the others were great ! would recommend them to my own family read more

They showed how good or great they are, and we made an appointment for next steps. The 3D design was a totally awesome job and my wife and I decided to go with them immediately. Pretty Natalie has lots of great ideas and tastes. Gorge, AKA "DJ", is super focus on details and you can tell how passionate he is. The smile always on his face is just remarkable. Raul did an excellent superb professional job for our kitchen, and seems like there is nothing he does not know how to handle. Saving the best for last, Saar, my dear friend and project manager, is beyond excellent. He is truly an artist and the best leader. We hired Elite Living Remodeling at the beginning of this year literally one week after our second baby was born. They moved an existing bath, added a master bath and created a master bedroom suite, shifted around some walls and doors, added a second fireplace, shored up our foundation, plus opened our kitchen to give us an amazing open layout. We knew we were crazy to start the remodel while living in the house with a toddler and a newborn baby, but Eli and his team were fantastic, and made the whole process as painless as possible. We recently had Elite Living Remodeling complete an entire master bathroom renovation. I can't tell you how happy we are. This is a business that takes great pride in what they offer. From concept into design, our finished space was so easy with their process. We met several times to plan what we wanted. The team of employees was great to work with given we needed a lot of help with design. We were then sent to various vendors who they work with. Working off our agreed-upon budget, each had a price range for us. You can stay within that or go above; it's your budget. Then we had a kickoff meeting where we were introduced to our head carpenter. Work began and the amount of care for our home, lifestyle, and craftsmanship was evident from day one. We are now using our completed bathroom and every day we are so excited. The attention to detail and building exactly what we wanted was unmatched.
