BUYER BEWARE ‼ Please see my review on Google and look at these reviews you can find on Cars.com BUYER BEWARE‼ Photos attached‼ I purchased a vehicle from this dealership while living in Colorado and was told it had been fully inspected and only needed tires. That was completely untrue. By the time the car was shipped to me and arrived the day after Christmas, the battery was dead. That seemed minor at first, until I learned they had already installed a new battery before shipping it. I replaced it again, and within a week, a Chrysler dealer had to install yet another one. The issue? A faulty hands-free device causing a constant power drain. The replacement part is unavailable, and now nearly April (!) the car just sits in my garage on a charger. As for "only needing tires"? That's far from reality. The vehicle has severely rusted brakes, control arms, rotors, and more ( PLEASE see photos). To make matters worse, I paid cash and still have not received a signed bill of sale, IT'S ALMOST APRIL. I've requested it at least four times, AND TWICE IN THE PAST TWO DAYS SO I CAN GET IT WHO REGISTERED. I was told by MERO, in December that the paperwork was only for internal use. Now he won't respond and I feel bad that Karly, who is super sweet, has to take my calls THIS is unacceptable, I need a signed copy for my records and the DMV. To date, I've spent nearly $8,000 on what has turned into a non-drivable vehicle, AKA PAPER WEIGHT with missing documentation and undisclosed mechanical issues. I worked with a salesperson with Elite Motors and she was okay. She initially said the car had minor scratches and offered to send photos, but she didn't and said it had been repaired. I asked and she provided a link to the CARFAX. It showed an accident with "minor" damage. While CARFAX classified it as minor, it was located in the left front-end area, which can affect suspension, steering, alignment, and sensors. I pushed for an independent PPI at my cost. They tried to dissuade me, but I was steadfast and they conceded. I asked for the out-the-door pricing, and they used credit score and financing as a reason why they couldn't provide it. I reminded them that I was a cash buyer. The salesperson passed the phone to the manager named Mero. This man asked me, "How can I help you?" I was thrown off. I told him I did not understand his greeting, and he repeated himself. I asked if the salesperson had told him of my interest in the car and if he was open to negotiation based on the mid- to high mileage and risk from the accident. He said no to negotiation and stated that the out-the-door cost was about $21,000 (car price listed at $15,800 and change). I asked why, and he said "taxes and things." He did not break it down and sounded angry. I told him I could not deal with his energy, wished them well, and hung up. I have never spoken to a salesperson that despicable. I wondered how someone like that had this or any job -- could nepotism be involved? If this is the reception at point of sale, imagine what would happen if you encounter any problem post-sale. After months and months of going back and forth, they fixed my heat, which should've been working when I bought the car. Long story. However, after they fixed my heat, they messed up my AC. AC was working just fine beforehand. The owner agreed to fix the AC at no charge but has since gone rogue. I tried to work with them. My patience has run out. Soon, I will file a lawsuit. The worst customer service and worst car buying experience ever!!! And don't let me get started with the finance part of it. Unbelievable!!! read more

This review is a repost. I deleted the review, listed below, in good faith. The owner, who I thought was a good honest guy, proved me wrong. He did not stand by our agreement. So, I am reposting my review. Not only did the owner not stand by our agreement, he has chosen to ignore my requests and avoid my calls. He has also been dishonest with the loan company. I will say, this has been a HUGE lesson learned. I have never in my life experienced such disrespect for a customer and shady practices. I have already contacted the loan company, my lawyer, New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I am awaiting response. By far, the worst car buying experience I have ever encountered. The dealership may respond and say my credit was not good. Please! Credit has nothing to do with the bad customer service, the criminal employee who is now incarcerated, trumped up loan amount and the shady manager. Credit is in regards to getting approved and interest rate, which I was fine with. The manager Shawn is terrible. He comes off as arrogant and untrustworthy. I could not believe he suggested I buy a $1000 dollars coat to keep warm in my car. I thought he was joking. He was dead serious. I could not believe it. No sympathy, no sense of urgency considering how cold it was. I continue to have issues with the car. After taking months to fix my heat, they did something to my air conditioner, which the owner agreed to fix, but now ignoring me. The manager has no respect or empathy even after his shady car salesman was fired due to allegedly (Yes, I must say allegedly) stealing a substantial amount of money from the company. Also, allegedly, he was fired from taking money under the table from customers. Interestingly, quite a few mechanics quit abruptly. Rebuttal to My Previous Review of Elite Motor Cars After much consideration and further unfortunate experiences with Elite Motor Cars, I feel compelled to update my initial review to reflect the serious issues I've encountered since purchasing my 2017 Porsche Macan GTS from this dealership. At first, I was happy with my purchase. Eddie, the sales associate, was professional and helpful, and I appreciated the seemingly well-maintained condition of the vehicle. However, after driving the car in colder weather, I began to notice an unsettling engine noise. I took the car to the Porsche Center, and then to Specialist where they discovered metal in the oil and cylinder wall scarring, indicating significant engine damage. This damage, which I believe was either covered up or undisclosed by Elite Motor Cars, was a major concern. When I brought this to the attention of Shawn Tawfik, the General Manager, he dismissed the findings, claiming they were "overblown" and that the situation was not as serious as it seemed. I gave Shawn the benefit of the doubt and agreed to have the car serviced at their dealership, trusting that the issues would be addressed. However, after leaving the car with them for over six weeks, I was told they had disassembled the engine and ordered parts from Porsche, but this was later shown to be untrue. The engine noise persisted when I received the car back. When I confronted Shawn about it, his explanation was vague, and I noticed a warning about excessive engine oil when I checked the oil level. Upon further inspection by the Danbury Porsche Center, it was confirmed that they had put in too much oil, and the noise was coming from inside the engine. The situation reached a point where I had to decline further repairs from Danbury Porsche, as I had already sought an independent evaluation from specialists who had already disassembled the engine and confirmed the severity of the damage. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism from Shawn Tawfik and the dealership as a whole. What initially seemed like a smooth and positive experience has turned into a nightmare with no clear resolution. I feel misled and taken advantage of, especially considering the severity of the damage to the vehicle that was either known or should have been known by the dealership when the car was sold. While Eddie was a helpful and honest sales associate, my experience with Elite Motor Cars, particularly with Shawn Tawfik, has been far from what I would expect from a reputable business. I urge potential buyers to be cautious and thoroughly inspect any vehicle they purchase from this dealership. read more

The most untrustworthy dealer ship. Whatch out for both Sean and the owner. They raised the sell price of the car by $10,000 more. And then had the balls to try and lie. Thank God I kept pictures. This is what they do. And the copies in the folder were only the copies of what I gave them. They don't give copies. And forget waiting for your plate to be available. And the car had issues. DONT GO TO THIS DEALER SHIP. if it wasn't for the pictures I would still be stuck w this loan to a car that was almost 16,000 to being changed to 25,000... thank God I kept all the pictures. There's is way more pics of this situation that I had w them.. they have no remorse at alll.. 10,000 more they added... and well you cars w endless a problems and ignore your callls. I went back and forth w the bank and eventually loan was canceled. And my down payment was refunded this business has closed down in other locations for having problems always.. w similar situations. read more
