I bought used Aviator PHEV. My review is 5 stars, but it wasn't flawless and it will be divided into a few sections. Dealership environment - 100 %. Beautiful and fully correspond with Lincoln brand. Car - 80 %. There is a reason for the lowest assessment. The car was beautiful at first sight, and everything worked, but I found out that it had broken windshield. And here the issue started. I live in VA (cca 250miles from the dealership) and the windshield must have been replaced. Jonathan, the salesman found a repair shop in VA where the windshield should have been replaced for free. Eventually it didn't happen and I had to visit the Wayne dealership again for the windshield replacement. This resulted in 500 miles in the car, one extra day out of my office and rescheduling all my meetings that day. The car assessment would be 100% without this trouble. The question is how the presale inspection was done... Personnel - 95 %. Friendly and professional. Sometimes, the answers to my questions took longer than I expected. But I am not native US citizen so my question could have been unusual. Not having the issue with the windshield there would be nothing to worry about. 1 Star - Long-time customer completely disappointed I have been a customer of Lincoln of Wayne since 2013 and purchased two vehicles from this dealership. For years, all services and repairs were done here and I was satisfied--until the purchase of my second car and the dealership's move to the new building. Since then, the quality of service and customer care has declined dramatically. The main reason for this review is my repeated experience working with Melanie, who acted as the service advisor. Unfortunately, these interactions were the final reason I will never service my vehicle here again and will not recommend this dealer to anyone. Three months ago, I brought one of my cars in for a serious issue. Due to Melanie's failure to communicate properly with the mechanic, my car sat for weeks. She forgot to give approval for a test drive needed to properly diagnose the computer data. Despite numerous calls and messages asking for updates, I was often ignored. I was repeatedly told she would "check with the mechanic and get back to me shortly," which almost never happened. No loaner vehicle was ever offered. When I asked, I was told one might be available in two weeks. Eventually, the car was returned unrepaired. The dealership admitted they could not determine the issue and suggested randomly replacing parts, starting with a $1,200 repair. This was especially concerning because the car was stalling while driving, creating a serious safety hazard. I had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic, who fixed the problem in one day for $240 (parts and labor). The car runs perfectly now. The second incident involved a scheduled oil change and brake service. I booked the appointment a month in advance and specifically requested a larger loaner vehicle, as I needed to transport five people with luggage to the airport. Melanie assured me that, at minimum, I would receive a vehicle comparable in size to mine. Despite confirming this multiple times (via phone and text), I arrived to find that only the smallest model available was offered. When I questioned this, Melanie claimed she "never promised" a larger vehicle--despite written messages proving otherwise. To make matters worse, a separate phone call to confirm details resulted in a 20-minute hold, followed by an extremely rude response and the phone being hung up on me. At that point, I canceled the service entirely. I have never felt so repeatedly disrespected, misled, and made to feel foolish--especially when I have all communication saved in writing. We had a small issue with a low tire pressure light and I called right away even though it was as is sale and they brought the car in the next morning and it was fixed right away. I don't usually do this and I hate to complain because it is such a first world problem, but here it comes. I bought a used Certified pre-owned Lincoln Aviator from Lincoln of Wayne New Jersey on 6/10/25 and have since had two issues, the trim fell off because it was only clipped on with 2 clips instead of 10 and there is something wrong with the sway bar that is causing a very loud squeeky noise and I have to wait for the part. I understand the process but I don't appreciate having to jump through hoops with Lincoln of Wayne to provide me with a rental car for this weekend. I just spend a fair amount of money to have the car I wanted, did my due diligence finding the right one only to have two issues in the past 14 days. Horrible service experience! I left two messages (since no one answers the phone) and sent two emails regarding a battery issue I am having with my 2025 Corsair. Three days later I receive a call from the dealership and schedule a 'mobile service' appointment. I guess this is no surprise, but no one showed up for the appointment! I called the person (let's call her Jane) who previously called me and I left a v/m. Jane then leaves me a v/m to call her or the mobile coordinator to reschedule the appointment. I call the mobile coordinator and cannot leave a v/m as they hang up on you. I then call Jane and it goes to v/m, but no surprise again.....voicemail is full! If I knew service was going to be this bad, I would have never purchased my Corsair from this dealership. Put down a cash deposit of $10,000with Ahmad and John. Deal didn't go thru after them changing interest rate after I left. Drove to Wayne from PA, called an HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE I arrived to pick up my deposit and Ahmad tells me he has nobody to clear the check so I can either wait four hours until his manager comes back or have them mail me a check. The level of incompetence John and Ahmad showed was impeccable and top tier. Told me he'd get back to me by closing time and never did, ended up blocking me cause he's soft. I am really tempted to give them one star but whenever I call the front desk people are pretty decent. And whenever they make a mistake they quickly try to remedy the issue. The problem is they make too many mistakes. On far too many occassions I've brought my car in for a routine check up and then a few days later something, unidentified and out of the blue, goes wrong. The most noteworthy, a few months ago before going on a road trip, I brought the car in for an oil change and multi-point inspection. The car was given a clean bill of health. While in the mountains with my family the car would not start. After hours of waiting, road side assistance finally arrived. Same thing happened again later that day when we stopped for dinner at a restuarant. Turns out, during a routine inspection something was reassembled incorrectly and thus continued to drained the battery. HOW??! Recently, I brought the car in to get new tires. On inspection, the car again was given a clean bill of health and specifically our brakes were in good shape. However, shortly after the car was returned I realized when I brake the car shook. Brought the car back in and was told I needed new brakes. Evidently the brake pads and router was in bad shape. This was a shock to me because I replaced my brakes 8 months prior and my brakes were perfectly fine before I brought the car in and, most importantly, when the car was inspected by Lincoln I was told the brakes were in good shape. There are other instances but I won't get into those. As well, I won't go as far as other reviewers and call them scammers (beacause if they are in fact scamming that would just be the worst business practice/model). What I think is going here is that there is poor quality control. A primary purpose of bringing in my car for inspection/service is for my mechanic, the car expert, to identify issues and provide a solution for those issues. They consistently do a bad job at this. Further, on far too many occasions a mistake was made on their end that caused me great inconvenience. This means that they need to have better controls in place. For a luxury car, this is unacceptable. read more

I would Not recommend this dealership! I have had my 2020 Lincoln Aviator Reserve II serviced at this place for the 3 years of my lease. This vehicle had so many issues from gurgling sound coming from the front pillars, GPS signal not working and rear camera blue screen, which was never fixed. Plus, several other issues that were. On one of my many service requests, I complained about a front suspension noise, which they decided to change my rear gears for some unknown reason. The noise was finally fixed on another service request, which they figured out that one of my tie rods was loose and had to be changed. Last month this vehicle broke down on the NJ turnpike from a 4WD malfunction, which Lincoln roadside couldn't tow me from, so I had to hire a third-party tow company to tow me from the NJ turnpike to their tow service location. While waiting for Lincoln roadside to pick me up from the tow service location which took forever. My car broke down at 5:00PM and I didn't get home until 12 that evening due to them shopping around for a third-party tow company since their affiliated tow companies were too busy. I eventually had to get an Uber to transport all my passengers and all their luggage. I tried to get reimbursed for my tow and Uber expenses from Lincoln roadside services, Lincoln of Wayne, and Lincoln of Englewood (which was the dealership I had the vehicle transporter to), but I was only able to get $100 out of the $147 I paid for towing, and they wouldn't cover the Uber. Lincoln roadside service said they have a $100 limit and wouldn't pay the $37 for the Uber. They told me to try and get that from the dealership, which both dealerships refused as well and would only give me credit on a new vehicle purchase. I ended up contacting Lincoln customer service about this issue, and they would only give me a onetime last month courtesy credit on my lease, since I only had one month left and neither dealership could fix the car in time or had any loaner cars available. They also refused to reimburse me for the tow and Uber expenses I incurred from no fault of my own. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and most likely won't be getting another Lincoln ever. read more

Updating after positive experience with Dealer honoring factory warranty despite being a very few miles over.

My wife brought her MKX in for service, to check breaks & to check back center console cup holders. Cup holders won't open and get stuck. I will add this: "We are now 1 month out of our Warranty" Breaks need to be replaced, over an $800 job, ok No Problem, high but OK. She told the service person she would run it past me. ( her Husband ) Upon pick up of her MKX she notices she's not treated the same as she had normally in the past on her service appointments, usually they go over and explain all that was do or needed. Only handed keys with no explanation. She reads the invoice and checks the back seat console and says.. Oh the console is still not opening.. The service guy says " yeah it's on the invoice.. You are out of warranty" she sees that it reads, upon evaluation, it's been determined it needs to be replaced. A $580 cost... She comes home to ask me to look at it.. What do I find within the first 2 seconds of looking at it... A penny is stuck and is blocking the hinge and not allowing it to open. A penny has caused your dealership's SERVICE DEPT to be seen as unreliable. How could this happen? A simple fix & you are quick to replace a part that did not need to be replaced. A job costing over $580??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Not only has this stopped me from returning for service... I'm sure your Sales Team won't be happy to hear.. I won't be buying another vehicle from your dealership EVER AGAIN. A penny... Has cost you a valued customer & thousands in $$$ Think twice about choosing this dealership for service!! read more

Bought a 100 thousand Lincoln Nav 2019, Day 1 made a loud rattle noise, come to find out it was a recall. Then they say they fixed it but the noise still existed. Shortly after I noticed the roof fabric of the truck all stained with water stains. Come to find out the sunroof leaked. I had them fix it, come to find out they didn't I had to fight to convince the manger of service that they didn't replace the fabric on the truck. He kept saying they did and I had to show pictures, then said oh they didn't replace it. I took it back to have the fabric replaced. Shortly, after I noticed water stains again. The sunroof still leaking and not fixed. The worst part was when it rained the entire top leaked water down the front windshield, side doors, filled the cup holders, the speakers became rusted, truck smelled like mildew mold, leather seats were water stained. The interior of the truck was destroyed. This is all because the service department didn't do their job and did a faulty job. I had the company take back my truck after showing video of water gushing out of the side doors when you opened the door. They filed a claim with the insurance company and now they totaled my car. I was left with a small payment and can't sell my truck or trade it in all because of this horrible dealership. Watch out and BEWARE!!! read more

I waited for the car...it took about an hour and 15 min. as promised. They had bagels, muffins and coffee available and a nice quiet room you could connect a laptop. We bought a car from here at the end of November. The process was painfully long compared to the other Lincoln dealership we purchased from in the past. After a couple of hours into the process, we were rudely told that we had the wrong PIN for our Ford X-Plan. The dealership was given this information before arriving at there, and they should have informed us of this information prior to our long journey to the showroom, as we do not live close by. So we had to trek all the way back home to print the correct page and then all the way back. We spent the entire day and evening there. Our salesman was William Cordero (aka Bill). He was nice at first. When I had to contact him a few weeks later because my temp was expiring, he became a different person. He tells me not to worry about driving with an expired temp as his other customers do it all the time. This is even after I told him my local police station advised me against doing this as I am risking a ticket or worse. William became unglued and very rude and hung up on me. Anyway, my registration came in two days before it expired, which he at least overnighted it, however he did not include the promised touch-up paint, which I assume was out of spite. Needless to say I will not be returning to this dealership, or recommending it to anyone. read more

On 7/16, I made an appointment for service for tomorrow, 8/3. I decided to just bring it myself, since the wait for a loaner was 6 weeks. (By the way, you now pay for oil changes for your Lincolns because they offer valet. But Valet is never available). I received a call today that they could not tell me how long the diagnostic for my service issue would be and did I want to reschedule. This is ridiculous! Last week I went on the hunt for a good used car to surprise my daughter for her 17th birthday. I went to Lincoln of Wayne to look at their used inventory. I met Luis Herrera a sales rep. I must tell you that within minutes I found and negotiated a great deal on my daughters car. I explained that this was a surprise for her and we wanted to pick it up next week. I had a check engine light code p0500, they said it was the abs sensors, they charged me $640 and it wasn't that, they told me it was lake, but they had my card for a week and they didn't fix it..i did my own research and it was the cluster they fixed it for me for $250 i do not recommend this place they are thieves . read more

I don't feel comfortable going to this dealership anymore I feel so scammed when I walk out of there. From the day I picked up my car I honestly detailed it better than them. There was a dirty rag and some touch up paint container stuck in the corner right where the door closes. I got service for an oil change that took 3 1/2 hours and there was 7 miles on my car??? Hmm go for lunch maybe? I admit when I brought it in I addressed other issues with the car which I was told I could make another appointment for I said ok then I'm told They decided to do it. I also had grease all over my car mats and along the baseboard that was not cleaned. I admit at that point I was in a rush after being there so long, but I would never give a customer back a car in that condition. So am I seeing the good service as others I didn't think so. It kind of looks like you have to be a regular there or spend a lot of money to get good service I don't think that's good business but maybe that's just me. read more

I live in the Bronx but I found Westchester's, Queen's, and Long Island's Lincoln inventory to be limited. Ventured over to Wayne Lincoln and they had a generous inventory of CPO Lincolns. Saw a 2011 MKZ online and showed my salesperson Wilton the stock number and he showed me to the car. It was in great condition like the online ad stated and it didn't have a different list list price compared to the internet price like some dealers do to lure you in. Wilton was nice and was willing to work with me. I wouldn't say I got a rock bottom price but I didn't get ripped off either. In other words I got the price I was looking to get before I arrived. The whole process took a couple hours, but Wilton and the sale staff were really nice asking if they could get me bottles of water or do anything for me. The dealership isn't a Mercedes facility or a Pepe car dealer so don't expect a grand modern facility or free Starbucks coffee, but don't expect a sleezy used car dealer running out of trailers like in Queens. The bathroom however was nice with granite I believe on the walls and custom paper towels that had Lincoln on them. Overall nice people that don't come off sleezy or pushy. Also they were able to obtain me great financing at 0.9% Only reason I am giving them 4 stars now is because I am waiting to see if they actually pay off my trade in loan within 10 days and if they send me my registration since I am from NY in a timely manner. If they complete everything on time they defiantly will get 5 stars Last but not least before I left a guy name Matt took 15-30 minutes with me setting up my car and showed me how to used a lot of the features. I thought this was a really nice touch that you don't see with Acura or Infiniti dealers by me. Normally I like import Japanese cars like Acura, but my experience with Wayne has really turned me on to Lincoln, hopefully Lincoln itself can keep churning out great cars. Update 4/29/14. Noticed 2 LED bulbs out and called and was told it was covered under warranty. Met with Jeff last weekend in the service department and he was super nice like everyone at the dealership and he said he would order the parts and call me to come in the following weekend. Hopefully everything goes well. More importantly I have been working with a Ms. Deans and she has been great about informing me about my loan payoff and sent me a copy of the check being sent out to my bank and over-nighted the check. I think this is great since even at supposedly top tier dealerships in Westchester I have had heard horror stories of dealers not paying off loans for months, Not Lincoln of Wayne! It seems Lincoln of Wayne keeps there promises and they aren't just telling you anything to get you to sign. They understand a deal goes beyond the purchase. Took my car here because Firestone said my rotors needed to be replaced. I knew I had just had them replaced by the dealership just months before so I was smart enough to say hey let me have this checked out. Firestone never gave me dimensions saying how worn they were or anything of that nature. When I took it back to the dealership they gave me all of the measurements and explained why I was hearing a squeak. So it seems like they saved me a couple hundred dollars here. Cindy and the rest of customer service is "AWESOME", top rate!! They are concerned about your issues, they go above and beyond to make sure things are done right! And when I said I'd stick around, they insisted I take a loaner car, which worked out because my car had to be held overnight because they had to get a part. Bought a car here a few weeks ago, and I'm rather unimpressed with the "detailing" job that was done on the car, as it still had food stains on the door which were pretty obvious, and the exterior did not look freshly washed when we picked up the vehicle. This leads me to believe that the car was in fact not detailed at all for us.
