Now my problem was that the local center in Albany failed to notify me when my Relocubes arrived. When I finally called after 4 business days (they had estimated 2-3 business day transit time), they had my stuff. It was Thursday and they had full schedule on Friday, so I had to wait until next Monday. Another problem was that when they delivered and picked up those Relocubes, the driver damaged the driveway of my new home. He had left very noticeable fork lift marks. The estimate was in line with the other companies I reached out to but they were the only company that provided a time estimate, and that was really helpful for me to feel like I could truly get an idea of my likely final cost range (assuming I didn't add anything major to my moving list). Booking was easy and done entirely online and then via email and text message for confirmations. My movers were Luca and Alpha. The called about 40 minutes before the start time to let me know their ETA, which was actually about 10 minutes before the arrival window started so we were off to a great start. Moving day is always nerve-wracking and adding strangers into the mix can be unpredictable, but they both took the time to introduce themselves by name and were so polite, kind, and calm right off the bat that it was a huge relief. We did a quick walkthrough of the house and they asked for clarifications or more information at times, which was great because I felt like they were really listening and paying attention to my comments and concerns. Then the move itself was smooth and uneventful. I didn't have any concerns about my furniture because I saw them wrapping everything up securely. At one point, a screw came loose from one of my table legs. Alpha found me to ask if I knew about any issues with the legs on that table. I told him it was a second-hand table so I wasn't sure, but asked if it was a big issue. He said no, and that he could put the screw back in, but he wanted other make sure I knew it had happened. I know that's partially because they don't want to be blamed for something they didn't do, but I still appreciated that they called it to my attention right away so there weren't any issues or questions later, and that he was able to fix it for me. Once we got to the new place, they took the time to ask where I wanted specific furniture or boxes to go in my new place so that I wouldn't have to move it all to a different room later. They wrapped up just a little ahead of the estimated time and it was super convenient to pay with Venmo. All-in-all it was a great experience and I'd use them again if I'm moving in the area.

And the new home is on an island not accessible by car! Top Notch handled it ALL!! The crew packed everything up in Baltimore to be kept safe and sound in storage through the winter. When our new home was move in ready the following May, they took care of the move from storage reassuring us there was no need for us to make the trek back down to Baltimore to "supervise". They assured us and took care of everything on that end for us. Then they coordinated with the barging service in Portland, Maine, drove the 10 hours north in 2 full trucks, and as tides demanded, boarded a 6:30am boat across Casco Bay for the hour-long boat ride in some Maine spring weather. They arrived with smiles on their faces and unloaded the 2 trucks in record time so they could make the barge off at the next high tide. The crew was fantastic, the management helpful, reassuring, and responsive and every single item arrived in perfect shape. We could not have done this multi-stepped, complicated move without them.
