I will say the mover driver was a bit predatory because they had to wait for me to get my cashiers check and it was a Sunday where all banks are closed. He said he would have to charge me for the wait time but then when it was time to pay made it seem like he made that up as a way to get more money out of me and said he could just apply the wait time fee to the tip instead. I did not appreciate that as I was already planning to tip. I will say when the company I used previously I did appreciate that they wrapped everything they moved. This company did not do that I'm not sure if it is something they offer and it's just extra. Overall my biggest issues was with the movers and that I lost a few items but overall a decent experience.

All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

However, I'm glad I saved JFP Express in my drafts because their service was excellent. I contacted three different companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose JFP Express because they were the only ones who provided an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees--unlike the other companies. I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices. JFP Express, however, was honest and transparent from the start. Jason was very courteous and communicative, arranging everything seamlessly. When the team arrived, they were respectful, personable, and professional. The piano, along with everything else, was handled with the utmost care and attention. Movers On the Way were a pleasant surprise. When I contacted MOTW among others, I was initially turned off by their hard core phone presence marketing, but once I told them to cease, they did. So I learned that they do listen. Because of their competitive pricing I was concerned that 1 or more of the glass table tops I have as well as nicer furniture would be broken broken or scratched. That was not the case. Everything was super wrapped in blankets and then covered in packing tape before it even left the house. The guys, 3 of them, worked hard without breaks except for lunch when they traveled between destinations. They were friendly and worked with a great attitude which led me to tip them well. There is a place going up the stairs where the ceiling meets the incline that typically gets banged and damaged during moving. They did not hit it once. A couple of items were incorrectly placed in rooms but that was as much our fault for miscommunicating. All in all I would use them again if needed.

I paid an extra fee ($125) to have my Relo Cube delivery guaranteed by a certain date and it was still cheaper than any other moving companies including U-Haul/U-Box. ABF reps I spoke with on the phone and ABF drivers who delivered and picked up my ReloCube were all very friendly and pleasant. I left no gap in my ReloCube (kinda like playing Tetris), padded and tied my furniture and nothing was shifted or damaged when it arrived. As for the movers to unload my stuff in GA, I used movinghelp.com (U-Haul affiliated) instead of movingstaffer.com (U-Pack affiliated). I only had to pay $145 (2 movers for 2 hours) while the cheapest quote I got from movingstaffer.com was $385 (for 2 movers for 2 hours). I will definitely use U-Pack/ReloCube again in the future.

There was significant damage done to my property for which I filed a claim. They honored the claim for any damaged items under $250 dollars in value. Despite paying for damage coverage. They take your money for this service and deny your claim. Whatever you do take out personal insurance if you use them or you will regret it. Interestingly enough everything over $250 in my claim was denied. While I accept that this is a risky proposition I have moved 5x over the years and have never had so much damage. And note: If your furniture is not 100% hardwood and they damage it any claim will be denied. Be aware that you need to know exactly what your items are made of. If you do not pay for a complete unpacking they will not cover you. And do not let the driver leave until you have inspected everything, or they will deny your claim. They damaged the walls of my new home, scraping them with furniture or boxes but when I reported it they said "you didn't report it that day". I said, I couldn't report it because the boxes covered the damage. Break everything down or you will regret it. This company may have some good reviews but they are snakes. I appealed per their process and despite a compelling case and a willingness to settle in a mutually agreeable manner it was denied. Their reporting of the events was missrepresented and an outright lie. All so they can save a buck on a claim. I would not recommend them on any level and would never recommend them. I made a huge mistake, don't make the same one I did.

When asked if they'd add any, they claimed the padded furniture made it unnecessary. The result? Extensive damage to my walls, stairs, and floors. Worse, these JK employees were smoking marijuana in my driveway during breaks, returning visibly high and dropping heavy furniture, causing further damage. The crew leader was completely absent, sitting in the truck outside my neighborhood's gates from 8 AM to 6 PM, failing to oversee his team's shoddy work. They also refused to let me check off delivered items, and now I'm missing belongings they claim were brought in. When I raised these issues with JK's moving coordinator, they dismissed me, implying I was lying because their driver denied everything. Their only offer? A pathetic $200 credit. JK's abysmal hiring and vetting policy clearly allowed this unprofessional, careless delivery crew to represent their company. I'd never hire them again and strongly warn others to avoid them.
