We recently moved from our house in Decatur to another house twenty or so minutes away. Like any savvy consumers, we searched the internet for recommendations for moving companies that did exceptional work for a fair price. Elite Moving Solutions seemed to have remarkable reviews across the board. I called and spoke to Ryan, who was extremely helpful and friendly. They're in Acworth, so an in-person visit was a bit of a challenge, so he had me send pictures to evaluate our needs. We had a lively and timely back and forth via email with questions from me (always answered fully) and advice from him (always useful and to the point), and arrived at a way-more-than- fair price (what I considered a modest truck fee for two trucks, and a modest hourly rate for five guys) and a move date. The day of the move, the crew arrived on time and ready to go. I can't say enough how incredible these guys were. The last thing we expected on Moving Day was to have fun, and my wife and daughter and I had an absolute blast. I've never seen five guys work so hard and have such a good time doing it, and they were a joy to spend the day with. They were incredibly careful with our stuff, smart, efficient, indefatigable. Our old house was one story, with wide straight hallways and wide doorways and a front porch they were able to back up to and set the ramp directly on--the new house has steep stairs to the second floor and to the basement, narrow doorways, tight twisty hallways, and three different access points, none of them near the truck. A terrible way to end the day, and still their energy never flagged. They enjoyed competing with one another--when John came up the stairs with two boxes of books, Dexter followed behind with two boxes on his back. Maybe best of all, they really seemed to respect and care about one another--it was like having your friends come over to help you move. So major shout outs to Ojo, Dexter, James, John and Jacorey (a father and son team!)--you guys were awesome and we can't thank you enough. As a veteran mover, I contacted multiple companies for quotes. Ryan (owner) was the only one who came out to assess and provide me an accurate quote as well as give me great advice on what would be good to do and not do for the move. He was very reasonably priced, and I would say crazy under priced for the service I received. His team kicked butt from the minute they arrived until the job was complete. They even asked us to walkthrough to see if everything was exactly where we wanted it. Through the entire process they were extremely cordial, polite, and a breath of fresh air. Surprisingly, them moving our stuff was the smoothest part of the move in its entirety. I've had five different moves in the past five years. None were even a fraction as good as this one. I honestly still can't believe his quote was in line with the other quotes I received. This is truly an elite company. I called Elite Moving Solutions because another company that was supposed to come never called and never showed up. I spoke with Ryan and he put me on the schedule for first thing Monday morning to move my stuff to a storage facility. He was very nice and explained the pricing, which was very reasonable. Ryan texted me Sunday to reassure me that they would be there Monday morning. I really appreciated that after what happened with the other movers. Mondy morning I received a call from Ryan an hour before my scheduled time that someone had car trouble and that they may be running late but we're still coming. I really appreciated that he kept me updated. (and it was only 10 mins later than my scheduled time) Dexter and Aubrey showed up, backed their 26 ft truck into my driveway like the pros that they are, told me they'd handle everything and went straight to work after everything was explained to me and I signed papers. They worked continuously until every item was on the truck. Dexter and Aubrey were very polite and professional. They worked great together and communicated well with each other. When Dexter answered every question that I had and Aubrey told me he was happy to be here to move me, I knew that this company and these guys were going to be amazing. After everything was packed, Aubrey wanted to do a walk-through to make sure they got everything I wanted, while Dexter finished securing the truck and we headed to storage. These two gentlemen were awesome, they handle everything with care and came fully prepared with all the equipment they needed to make this move as easy as possible, even cold bottled water that I was offered numerous times. How nice is that? I highly recommend this company and I will be using them again when it's time to come out of storage and into my new home. Ryan was very nice on the phone. Didnt meet him during my move. I had 2 24ft trucks to move my belongings from my storage unit 30 min away to my home. The 4 guys showed up timely. The rate was 170 an hr. plus a 250.truck fee per truck. I budgeted about 1500 for this move and got a 2145 bill at the end. The movers called a 5th guy to help because the 4 guys ran out of gas. Its important to point out that they didn't move any appliances. I also had a damaged TV. However, Ryan said his team didn't damage it and it probably cracked from the movers that packed me from my house in Texas.The entire move was overwhelming. read more

This is the fourth moving company we hired and man, I wish I had STARTED with Ryan and his team. By far the most professional, courteous, and up front team we have worked with in this process. His prices were better than many other companies and certainly his skills were better. David and Ryan were on time and worked nonstop until the storage units were empty and truck moving down the road. They worked like skilled Tetris players putting boxes in the garage so that we could close the door. Basically, they took 4 storage units and packed them into a two car garage. Very attentive and helpful when moving items. Will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know. Hire these guys FIRST. I was looking for a long-distance, out of state move to a metropolitan area. When I was getting quotes from other moving companies, they said that they would have to use a shuttle truck, that they have to use an 18-wheeler, and that it would have to be a piggyback move. Most of the companies were brokerages companies too, and they were unclear about that. When I found Ryan at Elite Moving Solutions LLC, I was extremely relieved! It was comforting to know that the person who would be physically moving my items, picking up and unloading, and driving the truck was my personal point of contact. There was no shuttle truck and only my items were on board. On short notice, Ryan and his partner were able to guarantee a 48-hour turnaround. I was not at the pick-up site and, they were extremely accommodating! Despite the fact that my apartment was on the top floor and the building has no elevators, Ryan and his partner were able to unload in under an hour! For context, I had a 1, maybe 2 bedroom size move. A lot of my furniture has glass or mirrored elements and, there was not a single ding or scratch! They were very careful with my items and paid attention to the fragile items. Ryan was polite, personable, accommodating, and extremely responsive. He was even able to wrap a few last-minute items in moving blankets and shrink wrap for me. If you are looking for any move, I cannot recommend Ryan enough. I have used other moving companies in the past, and none of them were as spectacular as Elite Moving Solutions. If you are looking for excellent service, stellar communication, and all-around good, dependable people- look to Elite Moving Solutions. We spent a great deal of time searching for a moving company to help us with our out-of-state move. When we spoke w/Ryan at Elite Moving Solutions we were immediately impressed w/his positive attitude and overall professionalism. Their pricing was fair and we decided to hire them, and we are more than pleased that we did. Ryan sent a team of 4 to handle our 3rd floor/no elevator move. They arrived on time, were extremely polite, and were super efficient. Within 3 hours they had everything neatly loaded on the truck and were off. The next day, they arrived on time at our new home and were once again very careful with the unloading of our items. Three hours later they had finished, including the set up of our bedroom furniture. The crew arrived on time, explained what would transpire, and then once receiving my approval set directly to work. This company earns 0 stars from us. Elite Moving Solutions was recommended to us by the storage company where our household items were stored. My husband and I contacted Ryan several weeks before our move. I met Ryan at the storage facility where he viewed our 30x10 and 10x10 storage units. He asked that I send him pictures of the items in our 2 bedroom apartment with attached garage, which I provided. Our agreement with Ryan: pack and move the apartment and move the items from the storage units. The day before our move 2/23/18, Ryan and his 2 man crew packed our apartment leaving @ 12:30 pm. That evening at approximately 9 pm, Ryan sent a text changing the terms, asking for a higher rate and changing the crew from 4 to 5 men. His reason: "there were more boxes in the garage than showed in the picture. AND we made him buy supplies that he did not use." Please keep in mind, Ryan was at our apartment from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. He was well aware of the number of boxes that needed moved. At approximately11:15 pm, the night before our move, Ryan informed us "He believes he could not complete our move in the morning! He told us we owed him $373 for the packing services" This guy left us in a bind! He refused to call us back, only communicating via text messages. We finally heard from Ryan today, 3/14/18 threatening to sue us if we did not pay him $373 for packing our apartment. He is now saying we deceived him. What!? This guy is weird, unprofessional and out of his mind. He left us in a bind and is now harassing us! Crazy! I would not recommend Elite Moving Solutions to anyone! Ryan is very unprofessional. He refuses to have a conversation with us and hides behind text messages. Weak and lame! Moving is stressful enough and now to deal with this craziness!
