I came with my friends and our daughter. We called to get an appointment. We wanted the kids to experience to have their first manicure and pedicure together. When we were there the wanted to do it in different time and the owner a very rude lady with long straight hair. Walk-in, no appointment on a Saturday morning. Got seated for a pedi/mani. Very older lady, kept asking over and over if I wanted gel. I replied no several times. Got a tropical pedicure that included callus treatment, she didn't do it. Completely missed the back of my heal and I fixed it at home. Paint on my toes was sloppy and had already come off by day four. Mani left me with more to trim and it looks like I never ever had a mani. Massage lasted a whole min and thirty seconds. My toe nails are uneven and look a mess. Maybe they should spend more money on training and education than making the place look so fancy. It's like putting lipstick on a pig. And now I'm wearing a pig on my toes and finger. Absolutely avoid this place. We drove back to this salon from out of town because it is where we had gone for many, many years before we moved. This was for bridal party nails (5 of us) and the new owners/managers have obviously not maintained the high standard. Will never go back. Nail techs did not do what we asked for. Did not trim down my nails as I asked before putting the s&s on. So in less than a week my nails are separating from the s&s. I have cuts all over my cuticles that are angry. I asked for American and she told me it wouldn't look good and gave me a French. When I asked her to shorten my nails, she said that I "should have asked sooner, before I shaped your nails." Essentially, she refused to shorten my nails because it was too much work for her????? Since they have been purchased, I have given the salon two opportunities to do my nails. On the first time, the technician they gave to me, did not know how to do acrylic nails, despite being told when I entered that that was what I liked. he kept trying to talk me into gel And seemed very unhappy with my choice. I just don't like gel nails. Then he didn't even know how to put the white tips on and tried to do that with gel. Finally, they had to get somebody else who took everything off my nails so another hour and a half spent there, but she did do a good job. I just went back last week And all 10 of my nails are swollen from the manhandling with sanding my nails and the acrylic job looks okay from a distance but it's patchy and already lifting. Visited 12/23/2Every tech was working with a client when I walked in, so it's busy. I waited about 20-25 minutes for two techs to start on me. I tipped both $10 before starting. I got the Milk & Honey Pedicure which made my feet noticeably softer. My tech was a man. He did great with the pedicure. He actually gave me a decent foot massage and really got my calluses and cuticles. I got gel polish. On a few of the nails the polish is on my skin. I asked for a basic manicure with acrylics. The young lady doing my manicure didn't soak my hands or even have me wash them before starting. She cut my nails all the way down and went straight to flying on nails. I like my nails just over the edge of my finger so I asked her to cut them very short. She didn't. I showed her a picture of an American tip manicure twice and told her I want them to look close to natural nails. When I told her the pink she was using needs to be a lighter shade she assures me the top coat would take care of that. She covered my whole nail in pink acrylic instead of leaving room for the lighter colored tip. She did my whole nail pink instead of with a tip like I showed her twice and asked for. I do love the shade, but not what I asked for. I also asked her to round them more, showing her the picture again. She didn't taper the sides going towards the tips so my nails are shaped like boxes. At some point I just stopped saying anything. You can see the cuticles that should have been cut off. My nails look a few days old because they aren't as close to the cuticle as they should be. They have a hard box shape instead of a soft feminine taper. My total was $122 excluding the $20 I tipped. The pedicure without gel was $50. The manicure was not worth it. read more

I will never go back! An older, balding man ruined my nails. He removed my gel polish by grinding the nails down to the point they hurt and now they are so thin they bend when I touch something. I ended up having to cut them down to the quick. It will take years to grow out. read more

This is my second time visiting the first time was when I needed to have my toe repainted, because my polish should smudged at my other nail salon, but I wasn't able to go back in time because they were closed. They repaired my toe polish for free, but I still tipped and I was so appreciative. The woman that greeted me was so nice and I appreciated her help. I went back again last Saturday around 1130 in the morning. It was busy but not a lot and I have the best tropical paradise pedicure and I just got a regular manicure both by Nina . She was so wonderful absolutely love her. She is such a sweetheart and I absolutely love the staff they are everyone's very kind and friendly and they greet everyone when you come inside and the service is really really good. Don't put waxing services if you not gonna follow any sanitary protocols and you don't have anyone licensed to be waxing any client. Double dipping the stick into the waxing pot is unsanitary your supposed to be using a new stick each time after every use no matter what. Applying the wax the same area over again with soft wax is unsafe you could irritate the skin a lot if someones skin is very sensitive and you could burn them as well and that could leave you guys a liability and they could sue you for burning them and for not having the proper licensed, minimum to wax over the area with soft wax is like 2 times in "different" directions but if your gonna do Brazilians I highly recommend doing hard wax instead of soft wax. The bed where you lay your clients down is unsanitary, keep using the same towels is disgusting, there's left over dry wax bits on the towel as well, make sure you search up what a real waxing bed looks like. As well none of your employees are esthetician licensed to be waxing no one, there shouldn't be no one waxing any client unless they're licensed and went to school and did there hours. Hire someone that is esthetician licensed if not then don't put waxing service if you're not gonna be professional and responsible for it. As well as you guys don't properly clean your tools, you guys need to be using barbicide to professionally clean all your tools, that is very unsanitary and unprofessional of you guys. Like I said before hire someone that is licensed to be waxing your clients or make one of your employees go to school to get there licensed if not Remove the waxing services off of your menus!!!!!! read more

In many ways I like this place and many of the employees are very willing to help. My first experience was with Julie who was so sweet and easy to talk to. The second was with Tracy who was wanting to be social yet I felt she was talking behind my back to the woman next to her in Vietnamese criticizing what design I wanted and her not agreeing with it. This last time I made an appointment and waited an 45 minutes and then had someone start my nails just to be passed on to another stylist while the woman next to me and her granddaughter got special treatment because she happened to be a regular, even though I had arrived 30 minutes prior to this woman. Sonny did a great Job and listened to what I wanted and my nails look great just wish I had been treated better. And for 55.00 bucks plus tip for a fill in every way I should have. I started going to Elite after getting a new job and wanting to "polish" my professional look. I really was not informed about nail salons and what to expect. I'd only previously used nail salons for special occasions. The good thing about Elite is that they always have a bunch of staff working and you can get in and out fairly quickly. They have a large range of offerings and colors. I received gel nails, SNS nails, and eyebrow waxing from here. They usually have a new "deluxe" pedicure fairly often that smells nice. There are a million chairs here for pedicures. For the most part, the staff are friendly and do a good *enough* job. If I wanted a sort-of relaxing experience then it'd be fine. The bad things: They ONLY accept cash tips. You can pay for services on your card but you absolutely can not tip on a card. This is completely obnoxious for people who never carry cash. They will not budge on this either. I've gotten eyebrows done a few times and it's so-so. I sometimes end up plucking them afterward. A lot of the staff seem not very experienced and my nails don't always turn out as well as I'd want for the price. I've walked out of here spending over $120 in services before and felt like my cuticles were still raggedy. (NOT INCLUDING TIP!!) They will upsell you products you don't need like callus remover even when you don't have a callus. They'll try to get you to do SNS nails when your nail is healthy and strong. They filed off a layer or more of my nails using the dremel and left my fingers burning while removing SNS nails. They didn't let my nails soak more than a few minutes before going ham with the dremel and leaving me in literal pain. THE WORST PART: Whenever I would walk in the "traffic controller" would ask me what service I want and I'd say something like Mani/pedi etc. Then the questions: what kind of nails do you have? This is basically yelled at you from wherever the traffic control person is sitting and the whole shop watches you as you respond. On the last visit I stated I wanted a manicure and I had SNS nails on. The nail tech couldn't be bothered to even look at me and was basically having the worst day ever because he was in a terrible mood. I think... I don't actually know because he didn't speak to me at all. On top of it there was no "pampering," no hand massage, he left parts of my fingers sticky from getting the excess base coat on it, and didn't even trim the cuticles hanging out. I had very squared off nails that I didn't like going in; I asked to get them rounded off. He made them MORE square. There are some gems who give great service but honestly, I'm not down for shelling out a lot of money to get what I want 60% of the time. And I'm not going to pay for a manicure when what I get is a painful polish change. This place is all glitz and low quality for services. read more

$84 is what I spent- sns COMES standard with FRESH tips which I should have known when the nail tech said NO NO to LEAVE or ask for a different provider! Skin was colored and NOT cleaned after sns even after I washed there was multiple spots in my hands around my nails on my skin. Had to tell tech to clean that up in which HE WAS SAYING IT WAS MY FAULT because I chose a dark color- I CAME IN WITH BLACK SNS ON - and as a nail customer for half my life I never have this issue! RUDE RUDE RUDE AND RUSHED RUSHED SLOPPY JOB! Pedicure! $23 standard basic pedi with an extra $20 charge for GEL! That's a $43 pedicure! The tech massaged my right leg for 60 YES 60 seconds BECAUSE I TIMED HIM BY WATCHING MY PHONE! Did not even TOUCH my feet AT ALL! FOR A $42 pedicure ARE YOU JOKING!!!! Despite all of their reviews, I gave this place a try since it was a gift. Unfortunately, I will not be back. For the price point, the quality of work is poor. The employees are super nice, but seem in a rush, which reflects on their work. During my manicure, I was cut multiple times. My nails are pretty, but appear as if I have had them for a few weeks and need a fill in. I also received a pedicure at the same time as my manicure. When checking out, they pretty much insist you give a tip, to the point they keep an atm in the back for cash only. If you want to spend over a $100 for a mani and pedi to get cut up and a half job, I would recommend this place. read more

I went in with someone who was getting her nails done by Tracy. She has her nails done by her once before. Tracy did a full set, but tore up her fingers while doing so. We decided to give this salon and Tracy a second chance. We went in with a picture of what was to be done for her nails. I am adding this picture to the review. The second pic is what she walked out with. The nails are very pretty, but not anything like what she asked for. We felt bullied int settling for something that was not what we wanted. Very expensive! They cut my adult daughter and sliced several of my fingers by filing too hard on the edges. Nails were awful! They seemed rushed and didn't take care or time. My daughter went back in to have them fix her nails because they were incredibly messed up and they were horrible to her.
