Last year I had Crystal do my nails for Easter and liked it so much I decided to have her do it again! She does my nails exactly how I like it done. And she's a talented artist! Thank you!

#ThankfulThursday Still love this place and anytime i go it feels like family. They're always welcoming and the designs are always awesome !

I love this salon, from the beginning they are very friendly and listen to what you want done ! It's very clean and cute. Ashley did my nails and when I say she perfected the shape, she really did that. She's very nice and so is the owner Hai. I will be coming here from now on. also there is a really friendly cute dog named Fluffy.

I took a chance coming here to get a refill and pedicure since most of the reviews were good. The young guy who did my nails was very nice. I showed him a picture of my nails done at my usual salon so he could have a good reference photo of the shape and length i wanted. The nails ended up being thicker and wider and not the thin almond shape i requested. My pedicure was done and it was also very thick and blotchy. You could see the brush strokes and had to try to repaint them again, but same outcome. They tried to blame it on my nail bed and then say it was the lighting. I paid $87 and now i will have to pay somewhere else to get them fixed. I would not recommend, i should have just asked to take off the polish as i was not satisfied.

Got my nails done 3.5 weeks ago and they still are looking great!!! I move to Florida 1.5 years ago and I haven't found a good place, until elite.

First time going to Elite Nails and Spa and I was pleased with their service! The salon is located in a great area! The lady that did my nails was very sweet and since it was my first time doing dipping powder I was afraid they'd look bulky but she took her time and I really liked the final look! It was $40 for the service which I thought was a bit pricey but I guess that's what all the other salons charge as well... I definitely plan on coming back :)

GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE! Nina did my nails soooooo amazing. I wish I found her sooner! I've tried multiple nail salons in the plantation and sunrise area and not everyone can do natural nails good like this! She paid attention to detail. I just have dip on my natural nails. She was sooo friendly which I was so happy about. The establishment was very clean and had a airy, relaxing and positive vibe. She didn't rush and didn't hurt me either. I'm definitely a returning customer. They all do great work and have EXCELLENT customer service. You won't be disappointed!

Hopefully our experience gives others an idea of what to expect. I wish I had read the other Yelp Reviews before we went to Zen Spa. Other people have experienced the same roughness in their massages, and the same coerciveness with tipping and payment. Swedish Massage I booked a massage for my 20+ old son. He is an athlete and has had many massages at other spas, including deep issue/sports massage. When we arrived, the "therapist" suggested a 90-minute session for $110. For today, my son did not want a deep tissue massage so I asked her to confirm that this session would be Swedish and he could tell her to make the pressure as light as he wanted. She confirmed yes. Payment and 30% (or higher) "Suggested Tipping" When it was time to pay, she asked me to hand her my credit card, and then as she initiated the payment, she asked how much I wanted to tip. Since it was a $110 session and I customarily tip 20%, I said "$22". However, she did not just add $22. She pointed to a printed sign that listed "Suggested Tips for a $110 session" and the smallest suggested tip was $30. This is a 27% tip, far above customary. In all other businesses I've dealt with, I am the one to tap my credit card, and I can privately enter whatever amount of tip that I choose. But at Zen Spa, the therapist held my credit card hostage while asking me to tell her how much I wanted to tip, as if it was a set amount obligation and not the client's choice to show appreciation for good service. I was taken aback by how presumptuous she was, but decided that I would just tip the 27% and be done with it. The payment should have been $110 for the service plus $30 for the tip, for a total of $140. However, the receipt total said $142. I pointed to the sign that said the 90-minute Swedish massage was $110, so the total should have been $140. She kept insisting that her total was correct, and only after I kept asking did she point to a different sign that said that there was a $2.00 fee for using a credit card. My guess is that they were passing on the credit card companies' fees to the client, but they didn't want to change the published price list, so they created a smaller sign that said that there would be a $2.00 extra fee. Really deceptive. Rough Massage and Broken Capillaries After we left, I asked my son how it went. He said it was a terrible experience. We understand that there may be bruising or redness, but he has never had that with deep tissue massages at other places. But at Zen Spa, with a supposedly "Swedish massage," the woman was so rough with her hands and a tool -- perhaps a massage roller -- that he had to tell her to lighten up. The result of all the roughness is a back full of broken capillaries and inflamed skin (see photos attached). This is not normal. Less important, and rather funny, was that the spa room smelled like garlic. This place was definitely not peaceful and zen. One positive thing I can say about the spa is that they take precautionary safety measures because of the neighborhood. Another therapist/owner said that they lock the doors to the building when they are in sessions because "there are lot of bad boys" in the area.

After trying repeatedly, someone finally picked up the phone 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time had already passed. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, Alani, immediately claimed they never received any calls and basically told me there was nothing she could do. No accountability, no effort to resolve the issue, and no concern for the fact that I had spent all day trying to reach them. It's unacceptable for a business to ignore calls all day and then refuse to help when their lack of communication causes a problem. The receptionist was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to assist. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would also like to clarify that I had no issue paying the cancellation fee if it was required. My concern was that I asked multiple times about the possibility of rescheduling my appointment, but that option was never offered or discussed. Instead, the conversation repeatedly focused on the cancellation policy and fee, without any effort to explore an alternative solution or accommodate a reschedule. Better communication and customer service in this situation would have been greatly appreciated!

I stopped by the store about a week before I wanted my massage to check the place out and schedule an appointment. I was very impressed when I walked in; it was very natural and relaxing inside. I was able to book a massage for the following week with no problem. The woman at the desk told me it would save time if I filled out the mandatory forms online and I should also arrive 15 minutes early. I came back for a 10:00 appointment a week later. The lobby was empty and it appeared that The NOW Massage had just opened. My masseuse, Anastasia, came out to introduce herself and to get to know me a little. The rooms are partitioned off by thick beige curtains and the sounds of waves crashing seemed to be playing throughout the facility. The table appeared sturdy and clean. There was a hanger for clothes and a box yo leave all other belongings in. I had chosen the hot stones as my "add-on" and I received a wonderful, relaxing, enjoyable full body massage. Anastasia was fantastic I and if I return in the near future; I will definitely request her again. Afterwards I was offered infused water while I left my tip for Anastasia. The staff did try to sell me a monthly massage membership; but I told them I wasn't interested at this time. They weren't really pushy; and I think a monthly massage membership sounds great; it's just not in my budget right now. I did give the card with the details to my husband and suggested it would be a perfect gift for me in the near future. I was very happy with my hour at The NOW Massage, and I know I'll be back again in the future.

We booked the lowest-priced ritual package, which included a 60-minute massage (we upgraded to 90 minutes) and a 60-minute sauna session. The cost came to $288 before the tip, after applying a Spa Finder gift card. We tipped 20% for each masseuse, but the "Tippy" system they use for tipping added an annoying $1-2 service fee. It would be nice if they switched to a different system that didn't tack on this extra charge. The spa offers free parking, a delicious ginger shot upon arrival, Fiji water, and free locker access. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was clean, calming, and peaceful. Our sauna session was scheduled for 6:30 PM, followed by our massage at 7:30 PM. The sauna room was spacious, and I managed to stay inside for the full hour, although my husband had to step out to cool off. The heated seats outside the sauna are a nice touch for those who can't handle the full heat. The only downside was that you couldn't play Netflix on the large TV in the sauna, so we ended up watching a movie on one of our phones. The hour flew by, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The TV does display a 10-minute warning timer, and we had to sign a form agreeing to be charged extra if we exceeded the time, so we made sure to leave with enough time to shower and put on our robes. The door to the sauna room didn't lock, which made us a bit nervous that someone might accidentally walk in. After the sauna, a male staff member was waiting outside for us and asked if we were ready for our massages. We quickly put our belongings in the locker, but when we were ready, he was nowhere to be found. We had to go to the front desk, and another staff member escorted us to the salt room, where we waited for about 10 minutes. We didn't pay extra for the salt room, and honestly, we were glad we didn't. It was relaxing, but neither of us felt any real benefit from it. Our massages started around 7:40 PM. The masseuses asked us which areas to focus on and then got right to work. The massages were incredible, with medium to deep pressure--exactly what we were hoping for. They targeted every area, even including our scalp and face, leaving us in a state of total zen. However, the massages were technically supposed to end at 9:10 PM, but when we checked the time afterward, it was only 8:55 PM. The spa does close at 9:00 PM, so we felt a bit shortchanged on our massage time, which was disappointing since we paid for the extra 30 minutes. Overall, I highly recommend the couples ritual at Gaia Spa. Despite a few minor issues, it was a relaxing and much-needed escape!
