Had a manicure and pedicure with Linda today. I usually go to venetian nail spa and although I like it there I loved Linda. I picked a color and after she put it on she asked me If it was ok that it didn't look as bright as she knew I wanted and she was correct she brought a brighter pink that worked much better and I loved it. Most nail techs will just wait for you to say you didn't like it because they don't want to have to remove the nail polish they already put. She took a lot of time with my gels as well, I have short nails which are hard to paint she made sure to even get the tips so it would last. The massage chairs are also amazing! Although this place isn't as up to date and doesn't have the upscale feel like venetian my service wasn't rushed and the chairs were much better. I had a good experience! read more

Came here on a Tuesday evening for a Pedicure and I loved it!! I got the Jelly pedicure which I loved. They fill your foot soaking tub with a powder that transforms into a thick jelly like substance which feels amazing. The salon is not really big, but the staff is attentive and very friendly. This was my third visit to the salon. The first time I went, I was assured by Nina that her dip manicure work was very good and that she could guarantee that her work would last 3-4 weeks. And so it did. So I went back. This time the dip nail polish cracked within a week and fell off 4 of my nails. I was out of the country so I couldn't come in till I got back two weeks later. When I came in, Nina didn't speak to me but sent me to another colleague and I was charged full price to fix them. When I asked about the fact that it was apparently a shoddy job that Nina had done the second time and I shouldn't have to pay full price for the repair, I was told by Lena that the way work didn't last because "You were traveling", "Your nails are small" "we only guarantee our with for one week" . It's obvious they don't need customers because that was pretty lousy customer service considering how expensive they are. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. The work is inconsistent and I don't see evidence of accountability. It's a shame really that that's the case, because they are quite close to where I live. I now see the reason why there isn't usually a line. read more

I showed the tech exactly what I wanted and gave her the opportunity to it bring to life the French Ombre Nail dip she stated she could do. Unfortunately it was false she did an horrible job at the ombre and I asked if I could do red colour dip instead. I was still charged a redo fee for something I was unsatisfied with & was lied to when I asked if she could accomplish the ombre I wanted. I felt that I should not have been charged that redo fee because I showed her a picture of what I wanted as well as confirm with her verbally and she stated she could do it but that was FAR from the truth. I will never come back to this establishment if they are okay with lying to a customer and taking their money. She did do a great pedicure that is where the 2 stars come from. In reply to Lena: You told me after the fact that it would be $50 for the take off of the "Ombre". It was a LIE because she said she could the ombre that I showed her in a picture. Even a different tech said it did NOT look like an ombre. My issue is that I was charged that $50 for something that I didnt even get to begin with. All the rest is fine by me. read more

I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating. It's absolutely disgusting in there, what I mean is that it's DIRTY! They look like the haven't cleaned since they've opened. I have been going there about a year. I tried to make an appt with Nina and they told me won't be in on the days requested. This was a week in advance I called. I then booked with a man Tan. I came in Tan wasn't there. Prob left, and Nina was there and totally booked. I had no one to do my nails. They should have had the courtesy to book me with Nina in advance, with no problem due to my original request. From told not being in to totally booked shows that they dint care about their stedies to put them in their schedule if in. They dont care as long as they can pass you to someone if avail. They show favortism to some customers and not others. I feel it is discrimination, if not wrong. Got screwed up that day. But the good news is I found a better place where they are very nice. I've never had such a strange experience at a nail salon as the one I had here. I came for a pedicure and almost the second I sat down I regretted my decision. The woman that worked on my toes pretty much badgered me the ENTIRE time to do my nails afterwards. I told her I didn't have time she questioned why I didn't have time, I insisted that I had to work and only had time for a pedicure. She questioned what time I had to go into work. I humored her and told her and she proceeded to tell me that there is time and so on and so forth. This went on for the whole pedicure which was hands down the worst pedicure I have ever had. No massage, she was rough and threw my feet around, did the exact opposite of the nail shape I asked for. It was surreal. I'm giving 2 stars to their customer service because they are very kind and sweet and very accommodating. This will be my second visit here the first visit was ok so I wanted to give them another chance . As they are family owned and I always support small businesses. I pay attention to detail when it comes to doing my nails and I was looking for a more personal service so I wanted to try a more local place . I guess you get what you pay for . I've been doing my nails for years am not nieve at all when it comes to nails. I know your nail doesn't grow crooked for the reason your nails shaped like that and not straight and I know you don't have to have 6 inch nails to get the shape you want. Why ? Because I've had my nails done a million times enough to know what my nails are capable of . I asked and informed the technician I like them coffin very narrow that they almost look stiletto and I got nails looking like squares. You ask maybe why I didn't tell her it's obvious this is what they are capable of. Again I hate leaving reviews when they aren't great however I did give them a second chance , before I left one from my first visit. They do ok pedicures I think I always got pushed off to a young sweet girl (maybe because I was late) and typical manicures, if you are looking for the new trends they are still in the learning process. If you are like me busy, and nails are the one and only thing I really do for myself than skip and go to that place up the street that charges a bit more at least your expectations will be met. It's difficult for me leaving this but I feel is only right knowing I was a returning customer who's experience the first time didn't go so well and I was understanding about it. read more

The moment I walked in I was greeted and attended to by Lena, the new owner. It's a cute little place, seems like they are still getting everything set up from the management change. The pedicure chairs are new and nice! The massage was amazing. Kristina did my gel mani/pedi. I have ingrown toenails, and it's hard to find someone who can get them good, she did a great job! She also waxed my eyebrows/lip. Lena did a design on my fingers that came out cute! I also noticed they have free WiFi (I didn't use it) & free drinks. I have been getting my acrylics done for over 10 years and after the shop I went to for years closed I haven't been able to find someone who can do my nails exactly how I like them. Until I tried here and all I had to do was tell them how I liked them and she got it on the first try! They also have an amazing selection of pedicures! I get the Deluxe Spa Pedicure which comes with a scrub massage, an oil massage, a mask massage, paraffin treatment and a lotion massage. And each massage is amazing and a good amount of time. I made an appt but I was late because my family took too long to get ready. I felt like they were upset when I first got there so I felt a little awkward. As they started doing my nails, and the rest of my family, things got better. They were quick, my nails were clean, well done and they did a great job! I've finally found my new nail place. Edit: 3/29 they took away the free drink sign and a nail tech (not even the one who did my gel manicure) thought it was appropriate to yell across the room if I could tip in cash instead. I feel like its an addiction, and even though I can never get a polish to stay perfectly on my nails, I'll rather walk around with chipped paint than spend money. Clearly, I am frugal. However, more than two weeks ago was my birthday. Therefore, after attending my morning classes, I decided to treat myself to a gel manicure. Recently, my brother's fiancé introduced me to Venetian. However, I decided not to go there because I was concerned about the wait due to its popularity in the Plantation area. I decided on going to Elite Nails and Spa because I'm familiar with the plaza (ColdStone is next door). When I walked in, I was promptly greeted. After an employee told me they would be with me in a few minutes, I decided to pick up a menu. I noted that they provide many services at an affordable price. I was especially grateful that their gel manicures are only 25. These days, most salons are charging 27+. When it was my turn to be serviced, an employee brought over color options to me and then asked if I needed a drink (non-alcoholic beverage). My automatic response was, "No, thank you." But next time, I'll them up on the offer! The woman who serviced me had to be the owner because she was significantly older than the other employees. She made the experience humorous by engaging me in a debate about plastic surgery, her boyfriend, and her relatives. I would have been fine sitting in silence, but easy-going conversation is always a treat. Nail consensus: My gel manicure lasted over two weeks! There is obvious lifting because nails grow, but only visible paint chip on 2/10 nails! I'm going back because of an event I'm going to this week. read more
