I got a gel manicure. We made an appointment for three people, but they had clearly overcommitted themselves because they didn't have enough staff for all of us and the walk ins. Therefore we ended up waiting around for almost an hour. When it came time for me, the lady rushed and nicked my finger with the drill bit. (You can reference the photo below.) She then proceeded to use paint my nails and use the tools with my finger actively bleeding. The tools were NOT clean so I had to ask her to stop and find an alcohol wipe to clean it off and wait for the bleeding to stop. She then proceeded to use the same tools on the next customer without sterilizing them or switching them out, etc. she was nice and apologized for accidentally nicking me. But the overall lack of cleanliness is not acceptable. read more

Very disappointed with the service. I called to schedule an appointment on a Monday for the next week on Wednesday and they sent me a message to come in early on that upcoming Wednesday instead. There were staff who were staring at my friend and I as if we were aliens. For a $42 pedicure...this is not the place. They did an awful job at painting the polish. Manicure: there weren't many dip color options but ended up getting one i liked nonetheless. I hesitate calling it a "manicure" because there was little to no care to my nail beds or cuticles. Dip was applied, they cut my cuticles, and put some oil on them. That's all. Wasn't super thrilled with the quality of my nails--they feel much thicker than others I've gotten and there are areas that got missed. Their application made my nails look much shorter and rounder than they really are. Not terrible though. My nail tech was super nice! Just not my favorite manicure I've gotten. Deluxe Pedicure: i paid extra for the "deluxe" experience and again, it wasn't terrible. The stone massage, exfoliation, and hot towels felt great! I do wish some more time could be spent on calluses. However, i think that's pretty typical. They had a polish that matched my dip color, which was a cool surprise. Overall Experience: I made a reservation the night before, asking for tips on my nails before dip was applied. I didn't notice until it was too late, but they forgot to do this. I was a little disappointed because instead of long pretty nails i now had stumpy ones. Also, they looked pretty surprised to see me in general.. a smile would've been nice, but not the end of the world. Between the fact that they were surprised to see me and didn't know what I wanted/had booked, I'm guessing their reservation system isn't utilized much past the front desk. Cleanliness: super clean! I enjoyed the ambiance. You can tell their pedicure chairs are old as the remotes for the massage have all the labels worn off. Nothing that i minded much though. read more

Overall experience: Made an appointment for a gel mani/pedi right at opening and the salon was understaffed but fully booked. The owner or manager decided to start my manicure and was clearly stressed about the situation, and was trying to rush through my service. She wasn't paying attention and she cut me three times while trying to remove my cuticles. The last one hurt so bad and my finger wouldn't stop bleeding, so we had to pause the service. After washing my hands/cut (no alcohol was used to sanitize it), the cut finally slowed bleeding down enough so that she could put a bandaid on it. She then resumed to rush through the gel application. I ultimately didn't have to pay bc I was crying from the pain and said I didn't want to get a pedicure anymore. Observations about the salon: dirty manicure countertops and cuticle tools were not sterile or sanitized. read more

I've had okay experiences the past couple times I've visited this salon, but after today I will no longer be bringing my business here. I went in to get a fill as my nails were starting to grow out and I also had a broken nail. Everything was fine until my nail technician started jamming an unused acrylic nail to pry my broken acrylic off. I was in so much pain that I wanted to cry. To make matters worse, my nail tech was really rough when filing/reshaping my nails and even ended up over filing a couple of them. I left the salon with bumpy polish and uneven nails. read more

I felt very welcomed and calm the moment I stepped inside. The owner, Trang, did my and my friend's nails. She was very friendly and helpful. The service was great but when it was time to pay, I was told they don't take credit cards and to use the ATM machine at the front of the store. I requested $200 but the ATM machine only dispensed $120 and then threw an error. My credit was still showing that $200 was dispensed. I alerted the staff who originally told me I had to pay cash and nobody gave two rats behinds about my issue. I later noticed that they had a credit card machine and so I could've paid with my credit card and not have to deal with getting my money back from this broken ATM. Will never return. Buyer beware! I ended up at Elite Nails because they were the only ones open on a Sunday in my area. I needed to have my dip nails taken off and get a gel manicure for my natural nails. I wasn't in the chair for 5 minutes and was regretting my decision. Another 5 and I actually stood up to leave. Don't know what she was thinking, but the girl used cuticle clippers to cut chunks out of the length of the nails and proceeded to TEAR THEM OFF! She was literally peeling away the dip along with the surface layer of my own nail...hurt like a b@#$#!!!. I exclaimed rather abruptly and pulled my hand back after the first one - she apologized. And then she DID IT AGAIN!! I stopped her and said the nails were usually soaked off. Apparently she was: 1. in a hurry - although there were no other customers waiting 2. didn't want to mess up her clothes with the dust that comes off when they use the dremel sander. 3. had absolutely no clue what to do She got up and got the supplies needed to soak the rest of the nails off. She commented that it takes SO long to soak off the nails. Then she commented that she had to put a mask on because it was such a messy process to file them down. Have you ever been BURNT by a hot dremel sander? Let me tell you - that is NOT a pleasant experience. She just commented on it getting hot because the dip was too thick. Instead of just roughing up the top layer of the dip so the rest could be soaked off - she was trying to use the tool to sand off as much of the dip as she could. Ouch. Again. Those sanders heat up when that much pressure is used for an extended amount of time. But hey, let's save some time! On to the soak off process. Out comes the Dremel - yep, she used it to take off the rest of the dip, and used cuticle clippers to yank off the remaining pieces. Finally done with that whole ordeal. The nail beds on the fingers she had ripped the dip from were red and bruised. I kid you not that almost 10 hours later, those fingers are STILL stinging. Typing is not fun, but I need to get this word out so no one else gets hurt! She was very meticulous about my cuticles. She vigorously scraped my nails after letting the cuticle cream sit for a generous 5 seconds. Then out came the formidable cuticle cutters. She, as I mentioned, was quite meticulous. And somehow - aggressive. I left with 3 bleeding fingers. The ONLY reason I stayed for the gel polish was because I had to cover the disaster that had been created by the person sitting on the other side of the plexiglass divider. She had to do even more Dremel sanding of my natural nails to smooth them out enough for polishing since they were chewed up so badly from the initial removal process. I am now pretty much just left with a thin layer of nail that will hopefully grow out before the next year is over. My only thought now is that I PRAY I don't get an infection from the cuts. I washed my hands twice before I left and put antibiotic ointment on the nicks when I got home. So here's hoping. Oh, and the kicker: $50 for that fabulous experience. :( read more

I was visiting Minnesota and came to Elite Nails with a big group for mani pedis. Everything was going great until my manicurist had tools in her hands. She was cleaning my cuticles and cut me a couple of times and definitely explored way more than she should have when cleaning my toes. She asked if I wanted my nails a bit shorter and I said yes... and now my toenail has a super odd shape. Is it a square shape? Circle? Somewhere in between... and the nail was no symmetric. After cleaning my cuticles, she started painting them in the color of my choice and it was super streaky and uneven... She would forget to paint the sides of my nail leaving them uneven... I had to ask her multiple times to fix my nails because she forgot to even them out... Overall, I enjoyed the hand and leg massage, and this place was clean but I won't ever be coming back here again. read more

Last week I got a pedicure from Elite Nails, they pretty much just soaked my feet in water, trim, and paint it. I did not receive a scrub. The tech ran her sponge through the bottom of my toes once and that was it and then moved forward to painting my toes. The following day I went to get a manicure, the tech didn't soak my nails, went straight in and semi filed my nails and cleaned my cuticles. Also a customer came in and requested for a pedicure and asked for price. They priced her at $35 for a regular when they charged me only $30. yesterday my daughter had a filled-gel nails and they charged her $55. thats how much she pays for a full-set. So, I called the salon and ask how much a gel-filled was and the lady on the phone said $45, but they charged my daughter $55. This salon is not consistent on their services, pricing, and customer service. read more

My friend and I went here and got our nails done. we both wanted to get the same thing except I wanted acrylics and she just wanted gel. when she was about to ask the lady to do French tips the lady painted he whole hand red, and then asked if it was okay. The lady responded with "well its to late for that, now isn't it!". My friend had also said that when ever the lady needed her hand adjusted she would yank it closer to her putting my friend in pain. when she was taking her to the nail drying area she grabbed my friends hand right where her thumb was smudging the wet paint. My friend tried to tell her it smudged but right as she was saying it the lady walked away. The lady never even told her how long to sit under the UV light so when she got up it smudging another nail. my person did my nails right but I got my acrylics almost as short as my nails with red French tip and a little silver line under it and that little line ended up costing $15 not to mention the rest of the cost making it ring up to $70 plus a $10 tip so if I could I would give this place a 0 star rating but I can't so I settled for a 1. I had beautiful nails - just wanted them a little shorter, cuticles cleaned up, and a new color. What I got was a new color... and nails that aren't even close to square. Nails starting falling off within three days after getting them done and they should last for a minimum of two weeks!!! For the money ($55), it's not worth it.
