It's hard to tell from photos JUST how dirty the outside of our house was. The paint was chipping and some wood needed to be replaced as well. I wanted a real PROFESSIONAL that I could trust to do the job right and Omar was so nice and talked me though everything answering all my questions. He finished the job in a 5 days and cleaned up when he left. He was able to take down and reinstall my light fixtures and even suggested painting our railing on the back steps as well. Such a great guy! I'll definitely be calling him this summer to do our original wood bedroom doors that need a makeover. read more

Elite Painters completely wasted my time and threw off our whole renovation schedule. I called Omar last week and asked for a quote to paint our new built-in shelving unit and fireplace mantle. He asked me to send him pictures, and I went ahead and texted him the detailed rendering of our unit along with complete measurements. He gave me a number that I was happy with and was flexible with scheduling a time for him to come do the work. That is where the good customer service ended. On the morning of the install, I called him 20 minutes before the scheduled time to see if he would still be here at the agreed upon time (I work from home and have frequent meetings, so punctuality is very important to me). Not only did he not answer, but he did not call me until 15 minutes after our appointment, and he said that he wouldn't be able to make it for another 2 hours due to rain. He ended up showing up about an hour after the new time, and when he saw what he would be painting he immediately starting talking about how it was much more work than he thought it would be. He said that it was much bigger than he thought (even though I gave him exact measurements) and complained that he didn't know the unit was brand new (even though we mentioned it was previously). He also asked if we wanted all the doors and hardware taken off, and said that it would add a lot of extra work (BIG red flag). He said that the quote he originally gave us would be way off, and gave us a new quote that was more than double that. In the interest of trying to stay on our renovation schedule I tried negotiating that number down, but he wouldn't budge very much. Overall, I would avoid Elite Painters unless you don't care about quality, punctuality, or professionalism. read more

I feel I was very lucky that a good friend of mine referred me to Omar (Elite Painters). It was quick to make an appointment with him and with this COVID he came with mask on. I went over in what I wanted to be painted and some dry wall repair . He clearly explained what needed to be done and the painting process. I felt he quoted me a fair price and stuck to it. He removed my popcorn ceiling and looks beautiful with the texture and painting of the room. I also had him paint my old kitchen cabinets and made the best difference. Omar of Elite Painting was quick to respond to my call for an estimate to paint a small exterior job (just the front door and few pieces of trim work) and quote me for a few rooms. After touring my "builder's white" new home he suggested rather than painting a few rooms why not paint it all! Best decision ever!! I wouldn't recommend Omar to do any work for you. He quotes a price, then raises the prices trying to gouge you. They use cheap paint and jacks up the price way above what the price is. Items that needed to be addressed he just ignored. Put all the light fixtures on upside down. Used less paint than he said he was going to use. Charged you for what he said he was going to use. Quoted 300.00 to paint the bathroom, then said oh the closest wasn't included that's another 300.00. Steer clear of this guy and his dishonest practices. Find someone else for your painting needs. read more
